Rachel was wonderful with my Maltese, who is very sweet but can be reactive on walks. She called me ahead of the booking to get an understanding of his routine and made me feel confident she could handle any issue that arose. She lives on a quiet block and was waiting out front for us so drop-off was easy and she was very sensitive to making him feel comfortable with the hand-off. She sent lots of photos — she’s really a good photographer! — from walks and the nearby park, which he was clearly loving. Rachel was very accommodating as I updated my arrival time and was again waiting out front for a very easy pick-up after a long drive. Really appreciated all her positive communication. She’s clearly an animal lover and I know my guy will enjoy staying with her again.

Rachel was amazing!!! She was well prepared for the cat stay and worked with me before I dropped off my cat. She kept me updated throughout the stat was very good and patient with him as he took some time to warm up to the home, and she was super flexible when I needed to pick him up a day early! 🏡 Any time I’m looking to board my cat in the area I will 100% be choosing Rachel!!!

Schedule
I’m an artist with a small studio room in my home to keep pets and art supplies separated. I love to cuddle with furry blankets. I typically spend 24/7 with pets when in my care unless I have a nearby doctor appointment. I have a camera that I can view from my phone and extra large bathroom and a crate to keep everyone safe and secure.

There is a beautiful park on my block. There are cameras all over the area that I walk with dogs. It’s a newly developed space in NE DC
A typical day
I like to throw balls or frisbees with dogs. It’s satisfying to see them plop down after a fun outing. I’m learning my way around DC so you’ll notice that we might go to some of the city’s many walk friendly and dog friendly attractions.
