“Allison is great - she spends plenty of time with our cats, is easy to communicate with, and provides plenty of photo updates. We’ve used her several times and will certainly use her again!”

About: I've had 4 of my own dogs and have experience with new adoptees, terminally ill dogs, seniors, breeds of all energies, and I am attuned to their needs. I've fostered many dogs through various rescues and I'm trusted by friends and neighbors to dog sit and walk. I love dogs and nerd out about all kinds, but happy dogs are my favorite dogs. I'm currently unemployed, so my schedule is very flexible and open. I have one low-medium energy dog of my own who's happy to chill at home or can come along. I'm happy to take cues from you, do you like your dog to sit at every street crossing? Cool, we can do that. Are you working on pulling less? I've helped friends lessen their dogs pulling and I'm happy to work on that or take the walking routes you suggest. I'm happy to give any treats or meds you have prepared and I can adapt to your dog's style and needs.
“Eric took excellent care of our cats while we were away! He spent quite a bit of time with them and made sure our cat who needed medicine took it again after she had a bad tummy and threw it up the first time. Definitely a sweetheart, would have him look after them again. <3”

“Matthew is so wonderful! We have to high energy young dogs and Matthew is great with them and gave me peace of mind that Ozz and Phyllis were well taken care of while we were traveling.”

“Caris was WONDERFUL! Caris took such great care of my two cats and was extremely communicative while watching them. The best rover experience I’ve had and would recommend Caris to anyone looking for someone to care for their furry friends.”

“Kaitlin checked on our two young cats while we were out of town. We really appreciate that the check-ins were around the same time each day so they could keep their dinner schedule, and we appreciate the kitty photos because we missed them!”

“Liz is fantastic! We had her do several drop in visits for our new puppy while my husband and I were at work. She kept us updated and even included some pictures from the visits. We've already booked her for additional drop in visits and a home stay for our upcoming vacation!”
“Kyndall was a great dog walker/sitter. Always left a detailed report for check ins. Sent many videos and photos to me throughout the week. My dog son was in great hands. Will be booking again!”

“Nick took great care of my cat Oreo and made sure she got all of the attention she deserves to soothe her anxiety while I was away. Nick is very responsive and communicative. Highly recommend!”

“Nicholas is a great pet sitter. He’s really good with my cat Cowboy, super responsive, and was really helpful getting an issue sorted out with my keys while I was out of town.”

“Sasha watched our three cats while my husband and I were out of town for a long weekend. You can tell she is a cat person by the way she interacts with your cats, understanding their body language and knowing how to engage with them. She took great care of our babies - we will definitely book her again next time we are in need of a cat sitter!”

“Abigail took such great care of my two floofs in the afternoons. They loved her! She was available last minute multiple times, took them on great walks and wore them out just enough for a great afternoon nap. I got comfortable enough with her that I didn’t even worry anymore and was able to focus on my work. Very kind and reliable sitter!”

“Jared was fantastic with our crew! We have a dog and cats who are pretty wary of strangers, but he was so patient and totally respected their boundaries. He eased in slowly and the results were great—everyone was happy and relaxed. The communication was awesome, and we loved getting all the updates. Plus, a huge extra thanks for cleaning up some cat vomit on our bedspread while we were out—definitely went above and beyond!”

“Erin was great with Pepper! She was prompt so Pepper could stay on schedule, asked clarifying when something was unclear, sent us updates! Overall, it’s clear Pepper loves Erin and Erin loves Pepper!”

About: I started sitting in earnest four years ago, but grew up with my own dogs and often babysat for friends and family in high school and college. I’ve cared for Greyhounds, Border Collies, Shihtzus, Golden Retrievers, Corgis, APBTs, one Mastiff, one Akita, one senior German Shpeherd, and one Border Terrier/Shihtzu puppy. I’m a teaching artist, so my fluctuating schedule doesn’t allow me to have my own dogs, but the long periods of remote work and time between gigs means I have very flexible availability and can fill the hole in my heart by being a reliable, loving sitter for others. I really cherish any opportunity to spend time with any pups and look forward to meeting yours! I’m between gigs at the moment, so save some odd appointments, I’m available for morning, afternoon, or evening drop in walks, daytime sitting, or longer overnight stays and in-home sitting. I always prefer to take a walk with pet parents leading when I first meet new dogs to get a sense of what they’re used to. For multi-day sitting, I always follow whatever norms you set in your home to make sure training stays consistent and there’s no confusion that may create anxiety for your pups. If working remotely, I try to stay where pups can see me and take lots of breaks for walks, pottying, and pets. Unless you have a specific walking route, I like to stay on quieter streets with slower speed limits and less traffic so walks are calm. I also like to allow lots of time for sniffing (smells stimulate your pup’s brain!) unless you have behavioral or training concerns about avoiding distractions during walks.
About: I grew up with dogs and in recent years have cared for friends', family's, and colleagues' pups. I have experience with puppies and seniors, including dogs with special needs (visual impairments and medication). I have been a volunteer with HRA since 2017 and have worked with dogs of all sizes and reactive dogs. I work remotely full-time (9–5) with a flexible schedule for walks, breaks, and play time. I am available for boarding during the day or evenings and on weekends. I have a fenced-in yard/deck and plenty of room for a crate and/or bed. I have a box turtle (he lives in an enclosure full-time) but no other animals or humans.

Abby did a really amazing job with my cat. She was very proactive and observant, noting when the litter was low or when my cat’s inhaler seemed to run out. I definitely would trust her to act in an emergency situation. She also left my place super clean. I loved all the pictures and videos - my cat looked super happy with her. I would highly recommend!

Tyah took excellent care of my female cat Tiger while I was gone for 18 days, visiting twice a day and providing great communication throughout. She accommodated Tiger’s medication schedule and visited on a reliable schedule, spent time playing with Tiger during each visit, and administered topical medication during each visit without issue. I especially appreciated the detailed updates and photos she sent after every visit, which gave me peace of mind while I was away. She kept a close eye on my cat's health and behavior and communicated anything noteworthy. When I got home, everything was spotless. My sink was empty, the litter area was clean, and most importantly, Tiger was happy, healthy, well cared for, and most importably she wasn’t mad at me :) Tyah's services were an exceptional value for the level of care she provided. It's also a huge bonus that she lives in the neighborhood. I would recommend her to anyone looking for a trustworthy pet sitter, and I fully intend to hire her again for my next vacation. Thanks!

We’ve booked with Thomas multiple times and he is always so wonderful! We appreciate the care and thoughtful reports he gives us on our kitties. He also was super accommodating when one of our cats started a medication and needed pill administration. We’re grateful as always!

I’ve been so fortunate to find William to help me with my other sitter while I’m away in Alaska on a traveling nursing contract. He has been incredibly detailed, dependable, trustworthy, and loving with my fur Baby. He takes the most amazing photos! Just incredible- I’m saving every single one of them, they’re just absolutely precious!! To be able to trust somebody in your home while you’re away for months at a time is just priceless, but most importantly, while away with a furry family member - has just brought me such immense peace and comfort. My little girl Violet absolutely loves William and took to him immediately! He’s been so patient and helpful as well, especially when there was a mistake on my end with medication dosing. He makes excellent suggestions about her care (he’s so observant) and is a superb communicator as well; so eloquent in his notes to me about his time with my girl! I look forward to them daily! :) Thank you so much William -God bless you for all your help, I’m so grateful that I found you! - Dani and Violet 💜🦄😻

Elise was a great sitter for our cat! She was responsible, timely, friendly, and interested when we did a pre-meet, and she took great care of our cat during the home visits. She was mindful of our instructions and preferences, and she wrote useful and informative notes each time.

Carolina is fantastic. She did a great job taking care of my cat while I was on vacation. She sent photos during each visit which let me see that everything was under control. She was so kind to play with my cat and give him treats while I was away. I highly recommend her care for your animal.
