About: I’ve had 7 dogs over the last 24 years, two lived to be 18 and 19 yrs old. I was known for many years as the Brookland Dog Lady. This is the only time in my adult life that I have only one dog. I currently have one 2-year-old Cockapoo named Peaches. Peaches loves most dogs and people and is generally confident and submissive. She’s very good with large, young, and old dogs alike. My house is fairly quiet. Over my 24 years of experience with my own dogs and watching friends dogs, I have dealt with just about every health problem and ailment. I am experienced with puppies, seniors, providing insulin, doggie diapers, prescriptions and just about anything else you can think of. I love walking dogs through my neighborhood. I have a fully fenced backyard as well. I work primarily from home so I can provide a lot of attention and supervision. They are like children to me. I work from home so I’m never gone for more than a few hours. My daily schedule starts with breakfast for me and my dog, Peaches. I then take her out immediately to the backyard for a potty break. I then get ready for my day and work from home. I walk my dog in the afternoon every day with additional yard breaks throughout the day. We often stop to play with other dog friends along the way. I can do a second walk each day if needed. I feed her again around 6pm. I let her out again in the yard before bed. They would sleep in my bedroom at night - either on the floor in a dog bed or in bed with Peaches and me. I do have a doggy door that she can use as needed, but I do go out with her whenever she goes outside. I have a 7 ft wooden fence around my yard. I also have a gate across my front porch so that if any dog were to get out of the front door, they would not be able to get off the porch. Dogs are always leashed when outside of my yard. I have watched and cared for many dogs for my friends, family and neighbors over the years. I have also been "dogmother" (designated in the will to care for a dog if anything had happened to their human) by several friends and family.

About: I am a true Capitol Hill dog lover and I have always had a strong passion for animals, mostly for dogs. I have been caring for dogs since I was child, taking care of my mother’s beloved shitzu. Taking care of her helped me acquire basic canine behavior and taught me the responsibility of taking care of a pet. Most recently I raised my own best friend, Gelato an English Bulldog. I gained my breeder experience with Gelato and cared for her and her 6 puppies, until they were rehomed at 8 months. I enjoy taking long walks, which I consider the ultimate stress reliever and best way to exercise. I have no problem getting my hands dirty. I have 20 years of experience in the customer service field and enjoy striving to provide the best experience to my clients. About: I'm a lifelong dog owner/lover who is also about a year and a half into learning how to be a cat mom. It's a pretty tight competition between my 8yo son and my 6yo beagle as to who loves dogs more. I work from home so if your pet doesn't like to be alone, that is not a problem. Walks and brushings are daily activities. Since the animals are allowed on the furniture the daily brushing is a must. Our cat has asthma and uses a daily inhaler, so if your pet also has medical issues/needs, they will fit right in. I've been petsitting for years for friends and family and would love to host your loved one as well. I work from home and occasionally have meetings or appointments during the day, so regular walks and lots of attention are easily managed. I also work for myself, so I have the ability to set my schedule. My backyard is fenced in, so unexpected potty needs or sunbathing are always accommodated. No space or piece of furniture is off limits to pets in my home.
About: Hi there! I'm a dog mom of an energetic boxer, Gus. Gus is my first dog, but from a young age, I always walked dogs in the neighborhood. As an adult, I had over 4 years of experience with doggy roommates. I have experiences with many different personalities and sizes so I'm very comfortable with them. Gus is an excellent walking buddy who is good on the leash and so love to play with a grieve l friend for a visit. I work from home Monday through Friday 9:00-5:00, so I'm around most of the time to monitor play and keep the pets company. I will walk them in the neighborhood and will avoid busy streets. I also don't introduce them to other dogs while walking them to avoid any accidental negative greetings in my care.

About: I’ve had pets my entire life and have experience caring for birds, fish, dogs, and cats. My family has primarily had Shih Tzus and Boxers, and I currently have an 11 year old Shih Tzu. About: I grew up around dogs- my parents have had a lab, golden doodle, terrier mix, and pittie and I’ve loved all of them! I’ve had my dog, Lucy, for two years. I have time set aside for walking and running my own dog three times a day- she’s a Shepard so she needs lots of exercise! I would love to bring your dog alongside or walk yours separately. I live in an apartment so I am picky about who I board- I require a meet up with my dog prior to the booking. That being said, I live right by the Metropolitan Branch Trail and close by Catholic University so there are many places to walk the dogs!

I gained my breeder experience with Gelato and cared for her and her 6 puppies, until they were rehomed at 8 months. I enjoy taking long walks, which I consider the ultimate stress reliever and best way to exercise. I have no problem getting my hands dirty. I have 20 years of experience in the customer service field and enjoy striving to provide the best experience to my clients. In my personal time I am spending time with my 2 little girls teaching them how to play sports, and of course how to be loving pet owners. Thank you for taking the time to visit my page! I’m currently working part time and will be available to walk most pets during early mornings hours during the week and mid day and evenings during the weekend. I definitely would like to know your pets temperament, and what might scare them. I know they will feel most comfortable at home but if they are with me, I’d like to keep a calm, pet friendly setting for them to be comfortable in.
“Boarding my puppy with Amani went great! This was my dog Blob's first time boarding, so I really appreciated all of the photos and videos that Amani sent every day of naptime, playtime, and bathtime. Our pick-up and drop-off also went very smoothly and she kept me updated with how Blob was doing health-wise and potty training-wise. Overall a great experience and I highly recommend Amani.”

“Max was an amazing sitter for my dog, Kali! Kali had been spayed a week prior to her 4 day stay with Max, and had already ripped her stitches open once, so it was critical that Max made sure she stayed safe and kept her cone on. Max was unbelievably attentive and did an excellent job with her! He sent multiple updates with photos each day, had extra treats and toys for her, took her on multiple walks per day, and even did some basic training with her to make sure she could be left home by herself for brief periods. I would not hesitate to book Max again!”
“Malvi, Andrej, and Max are like Ozzy’s second home. I feel so comfortable leaving Ozzy there when I travel for work, because I know how comfortable Ozzy is with them! They honestly treat him like their own and it makes me feel so much better being away. They are so communicative with their schedules and send lots of cute updates. I also completely trust their judgment with other dogs they sit, so I know Ozzy is always safe and has plenty of new friends to play with every time.”

“Natalia and Edward were wonderful with my dog, Olly! From the start, they were kind, responsive, and easy to communicate with, which made me feel completely comfortable leaving Olly in their care. Throughout the week, they sent me regular updates and lots of cute pictures, which I really appreciated, it was so nice to see how happy he looked. They clearly took great care of him and made sure he got plenty of attention and love. When I picked him up, he was calm, content, and clearly had a great time.
