Your Pet’s Favorite Sitter
Hi! I’ve pretty much always had a dog or cat in my life, so taking care of pets is something I genuinely love. I grew up with a German Shorthaired Pointer and a pit bull (and plenty of cats!), so I’m super comfortable with bigger dogs, high energy pups and pets with strong personalities. I’ve also cared for senior pets and am comfortable giving medications, keeping up with feeding schedules, adjusting walks for different energy and mobility levels, and following all the oddly specific little routines that pets inevitably train us into. I’m a big believer in keeping things as normal and comfortable as possible while you’re away, so I’ll stick to your pet’s routine, give them lots of attention and happily send you photos and updates along the way. Whether your pet wants a long walk, a serious game of tug of war or just someone to hang out with on the couch, I’m very happy to be their person while you’re gone (and hopefully their new favorite sitter!).

Since I provide care exclusively in my clients’ homes, my goal is to keep things as familiar and stress-free as possible for your pet! I’ll follow their normal routine closely, including feeding, walks, medications, playtime and, of course, plenty of attention and cuddles (if they’re into that!). I’m also very respectful of your home and will make sure everything is left just as I found it. Most importantly, I’ll keep you updated with plenty of photos and check-ins so you can relax knowing your pet is happy, safe and comfortable in their own space.

Devonte was great. My normal sitter couldn’t get to the house in time and my pup needed to go out to go to the bathroom. On short notice D was able to stop by my home and comfort my uneasy dog. My dog wasn’t used to seeing a new face but D was able to calm her and get her out the door. We will surely be contacting him again.
Devonte was great to my Lulu cat.
Devonte was incredibly considerate and good with my cats. My cats can get very nervous around new people, but Devonte gave them the time and space to get comfortable around him. My boys were relaxed, not stressed, when I got home!
DeVonte has watched both dogs and cats for me, and in my experience has always displayed the upmost care and kindness when dealing with any animal. He cares deeply about ensuring that they not only have all their needs met, but are thriving and enjoying their time with him!
Couldn’t recommend Devonte more for your pet sitting needs! Devonte watched our two cats while we were away for a week and even took the time to visit before our trip to meet them so they wouldn’t be cared for by a stranger. That extra consideration meant so much to us and shows how much he truly cares for the animals he’s watching.
DeVonte is a caring and conscientious person with a deep love of animals. He’s always so happy and excited to care for pets and shows animals so much love. And dogs and cats love him back! When he checked on my kitty, he made sure to send regular updates and lots of photos/video for my peace of mind.

Tidsplan
Pet care fits really naturally into my routine! I work a 9–5 in communications for a nonprofit think tank, with a hybrid schedule that has me working from home on Mondays and Fridays. That gives me plenty of flexibility for walks, playtime and check-ins throughout the day, especially around long weekends. I’m open to overnight stays, daily drop-ins, walks or a mix depending on what works best for you and your pet. I’m also happy to work around their usual routine as much as possible. I know pets tend to have their schedules figured out better than the rest of us!
