An Agroecologist’s Approach to Care
As an agroecologist, caring for animals is a big part of both my personal and professional life. I’ve worked around livestock, barn cats, wildlife, and pets, which has made me attentive to animal behavior, body language, and individual personalities. I also have a senior cat of my own, so I understand the patience and gentleness older pets can require. I love dogs and am fascinated by their social intelligence, and I’m happy to adapt my care to each pet, whether they need energetic play, a long walk, quiet companionship, or a slower pace.

Safety, trust & environment
I live in an apartment with my own beloved cat, who is fairly shy and prefers having his home to himself, so I do not offer boarding in my home. However, I’m very happy to provide house sitting and care for pets in the environment where they already feel safest and most comfortable. I’m respectful of each home and attentive to each pet’s established routines, boundaries, feeding schedules, and individual needs.

Keirstyn- is the best. An outstanding person. When she house sits and takes care of the family cat, her service is top tier. Some of the tasks she’ll do aren’t really needed or asked but she goes above and beyond. Lastly, the one thing that makes her one of the best “discernment”. I wouldn’t normally wouldn’t write a review, but for her. Without hesitation. 4☆
Keirstyn has watched our Lab, Captain Pizza and stayed at our house for us many times, and we always know he and our home are in good hands with her! She really loves animals and it shows in how she cares for him.

Schedule
My work schedule is fairly laissez-faire and flexible, which gives me plenty of time to dedicate to pet care throughout the week. I’m also on an active fitness and weight-loss journey, so I’m always looking for an excuse to get moving! Whether your pup needs a long walk, an energetic play session, or your cat needs some quality company and attention, I’m happy to work their routine into mine.

I’d much rather know that your dog has declared war on skateboards before we encounter one together.
