I am flexible with providing care on weekends as well as weekdays. If it is your wish that I do so, I am available to stay with your pet in your home if needed. About: Hi! I’m Johnny, and I grew up on a ranch in Colorado, where caring for animals was a part of everyday life. I was raised around horses, dogs, cats, and other animals, so being responsible for their care has been second nature since I was young. Throughout my life, I’ve continued to care for pets and understand that every animal has its own personality, routines, and needs. Whether your pet loves long walks, playing fetch, or relaxing on the couch, I’ll make sure they feel safe, comfortable, and cared for while you’re away. Professionally, I’ve worked in high-trust positions on Capitol Hill and at the Smithsonian, where reliability, communication, and attention to detail were essential. I’ll bring that same level of professionalism to caring for your pets and your home. I know leaving a pet with someone else can be stressful, so I’ll keep you updated with photos and messages and treat your furry family member like one of my own. Im a proud cat dad to a wild orange cat named Cheeter! My schedule is currently flexible, giving me plenty of time for walks, drop-in visits, playtime, and attentive care. I’m available during weekdays and weekends and will communicate clearly about timing. I live in a comfortable apartment in Dupont Circle with access to a fantastic fenced-in shared courtyard for supervised outdoor time. I carefully follow each owner’s instructions, maintain their pet’s normal routine, and prioritize safety, cleanliness, and plenty of individual attention.

About: I've taken care of elderly dogs and cats that need daily medications and frequent potty breaks, along with puppies and kittens with boundless energy requiring multiple walks a day or a lot of play time! I have specifically worked with blind dogs and dogs and cats requiring specialized diets for kidney disease. Dogs and cats are amazing companions and deserve nothing but the best care. I have availability all day on Saturdays, Sundays, and Thursdays. I’m also free before 1 PM on Wednesdays. I’m less flexible on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Fridays, but feel free to ask for availability on these days as well! As someone with many years of pet sitting experience, I’m very attuned to all types of fur baby personalities. Whether your pet is shy or outgoing, I will read their social cues and adjust my care as necessary.

My availability is during weekends for drop-ins/walks, but can be flexible for days. I can’t wait to hear more about your pet, just reach out! I work full-time, so I am mostly free on weekends. That can be any time on the weekend, and if needed, can try for weekdays after work. For drop-ins, I will play with your pets and brush them if they enjoy that! I have also co-lived with other dog/cat owners, and love taking care of my friends’ pets. I am very much aware of how to organize a home to ensure there are no unsafe circumstances that can endanger a pet. I am careful when it comes to feeding times, quantities and food type, as my family pets all had different dietary requirements, including at times preparing fresh vegetables and other foods to complement their kibble.
