About: I am a retired volunteer with City Kitties and Dogs, and have been doing Rover for a few years now! I grew up with rescue dogs and continue to find so much joy in hanging with dogs and cats for the day. I know how important pets are (they’re family!) so yours will always be getting that 5 star treatment and care! :-) I currently WFH 3 days a week and am looking for a furry friend to keep me company! I am up in the mornings around 7am, and have a pretty relaxed job which means lots of time for walks, play, and potty breaks. Your pets safety is my top priority. I will be sure to follow all protocols, take details seriously, and keep an eye on your pet at all times of service!

About: My past work as a veterinary technician has provided me with years of experience caring for diverse breeds, specializing in coordinating complex feeding schedules and managing senior pets with health needs. I prioritize a safe and calm environment for every animal. I have been retired for two years, which makes me available all hours of the day. I am flexible with providing care on weekends as well as weekdays. If it is your wish that I do so, I am available to stay with your pet in your home if needed. Your pet will receive the same care I would provide to my own

About: I’ve owned pets, both cats and dogs, my whole life. Now that I’m living in the city and far from my family’s dogs, I miss the energy that a dog brings to everyday life. I work remotely from home with flexible hours. I am working on getting my steps in, so I’m happy to take pets on frequent short or long bathroom breaks or walks. I care for pets making sure the home is stocked with food and water, litter is clean, and that the space is friendly. I like to leave some toys around to encourage activity when I’m not present.

About: I have experience with reactive dogs and puppy training. I had dogs growing up, and my own dog was adorable but had territorial and fear-based aggression, so I learned proper leash techniques, reactivity training, and patience. I work from home, so I have a flexible schedule. I don't have a car but can travel via metro to make it convenient for you and the animal. I will care for the pet and the client's home as if it were my own. I respect my pets and my space, and I will be sure to show yours the same dignity and care.

About: I love dogs and cats, and miss my own pets as I’m away from home. So I would love to help take care of your pets when you need an extra hand! My availability is during weekends for drop-ins/walks, but can be flexible for days. I can’t wait to hear more about your pet, just reach out! I work full-time, so I am mostly free on weekends. That can be any time on the weekend, and if needed, can try for weekdays after work. For drop-ins, I will play with your pets and brush them if they enjoy that! And for dogs, would love them to take them for a stroll so we can both get our steps in!

About: I grew up with dogs always in my family, which is why I am an expert on ensuring that your furry family members are taken care of. I have had 2 German Shepards, a Saint Bernard that lived for 12 years, 3 cats, and I love them all! I wake up early to run and I love being outside. This is the perfect opportunity for those morning walks and zoomies. I enjoy a post lunch walk every afternoon, when I can give your furry friend a second outside trip. Finally, I love to walk in the evenings, which is a great time to take your dog out before bed! I believe in constant attention and awareness. Although animals need to have alone time and space, they should always be accounted for. I will have my own work to do but I will always ensure that the animals have what they need to be happy and safe.

About: I’ve been around dogs my entire life and have experience caring for multiple dogs at once, from small breeds to large breeds with different personalities and needs. In addition to growing up with dogs, I’ve provided pet sitting through platforms like Nextdoor and Facebook and have cared for family pets while working as a nanny. I’m comfortable with dogs of all sizes and have experience with feeding, walks, playtime, and maintaining routines. As an elementary school teacher, I’m patient, responsible, dependable, and attentive to each dog’s individual needs, making sure they feel safe, loved, and well cared for while you’re away. My availability varies by season. During the summer, I’m available most days and many weeks for walks, drop-ins, daycare, or overnight stays. During the school year (September–June), I’m generally available after 4:00 p.m., as I teach elementary school during the day. I’m also a graduate student and typically have evening classes two nights a week, but I keep my calendar updated so you can always see my current availability. Whether I’m caring for your pet in your home or stopping by for a visit, their safety and comfort are always my top priorities. I’ll follow your pet’s normal routine, including feeding schedules, walks, medications (if needed), playtime, and plenty of affection. I know every dog is different, so I take the time to understand their personality and any special instructions you have. As an elementary school teacher, I’m patient, responsible, and attentive to details, and I’ll treat your home and pets with the same care and respect I would my own. I’ll also keep you updated with photos and messages, so you can relax knowing your pet is in good hands.
