About: I grew up with rescue mutts and herding breed dogs that need lots of exercise, mental stimulation, and training so I am familiar with high energy breeds. I also have experience with smaller companion animals, and cats. I love dogs of all sizes and breeds, and have cared for dogs at all stages of life, from puppies to seniors. I'm available mornings and afternoons to spend time with your pets. I'm between jobs at the moment, so my schedule is very flexible and I'm eager to fill that with time with your pup! I love to take long walks, and enjoy parks and trails if your dog likes to go on short hikes. I have a fenced in front and back/side yard with grass, and enough room to throw a ball if they come over for a play date.

About: I have loved dogs since I could remember. I’ve had pups of my own and currently have a small Yorkie who I adore, but grew up with a German shepherd who was the best. I’m a nurse and am looking to maximize my puppy time on my time off! I have experience with dogs of all sizes. I’m more than happy to administer medication if needed. Whatever you need, I’m here for you! I’m happy to do drop ins, walks, feeding, whatever you need! I only work 3 days per week and have a lot of flexibility for morning and mid day walks. I live in a pet friendly building with a dog run. I’m happy to crate your pups if that is how they feel safest. I have one 7 year old Yorkie.

About: I’ve been caring for dogs for many years, and each experience has taught me how to be patient, loving, and responsible. I looked after my sweet poodle for 17 years, especially when she grew older and developed Alzheimer’s. It was a challenging time, but I cared for her with all my heart. I also helped care for dogs adopted by my family. My elderly aunt adopted a street dog named Fred, and since she couldn’t manage walks and vet visits on her own, I was the one who took care of him. Later, my grandmother adopted another rescue named Bruce, and I became his main walking companion because of her limited mobility. Currently, I live with my host family, and they have a wonderful rescue dog named Rosie. Whenever they travel, I’m fully responsible for her care — from walks to cuddles — and she has truly become my best friend. These experiences taught me how to adapt to the unique needs of each dog, whether they’re seniors, rescues, or playful companions. I always make sure pets feel safe, happy, and loved. I currently have a very flexible routine, which allows me to adapt easily to your pet’s needs. I can adjust my schedule to make sure they’re cared for and happy. When caring for pets, my priority is always their safety and comfort. I make sure to follow their usual routines, from feeding and walks to playtime and rest, so they feel secure and at ease. I pay close attention to their behavior and needs, and I’m always careful with doors, leashes, and surroundings during walks. Whether in my client’s home or with a pet I’m sitting, I treat their space with respect and keep everything clean and organized. I know how important it is to trust someone with your pet and your home, so I do everything with responsibility and care.

About: I have taken care of dogs, cats & birds all my life, I love to take the dogs out for a walk and be at home with the cats & birds. I recently retired so I will be happy to take of your companions when you need, I am young at heart and love going out for long walks with dogs. NB. In November 2022 I will be happy to stay at your home full time to look after your companions. As of December 2022 I will only be keeping pets at my home in Burleith, or visiting them at your home if it is in my neighborhood. I do not have a fence around my garden, but I will take them for long walks if they like the outdoors, otherwise we will stay at home.

About: I grew up with dogs, but my current building does not allow pets so I miss them dearly (our newest puppy is home with my parents). I’ve had plenty of experience with rescues so can confidently deal with more difficult personalities:) I have always lived with medium-big dogs, but I’ve been a sitter for small dogs as well. Overall, I am just looking to pour my love onto the pups of Georgetown! I work from home and have a flexible schedule, so can fit in a couple walks during the work day Monday-Friday. Slight preference for morning walks. I love to walk and be active, and have a lot of patience with training dogs as I’ve adopted multiple rescues in the past. I’m excited to get to meet the dogs of the neighborhood and get some movement together! I’m also happy to dog sit at the owners home, and am very punctual and responsible with feeding times.

About: I spent my childhood taking care of my childhood pets and neighborhood pets as well. I’m completely comfortable with animals and would love to have fun with your pets! I love going on walks, keeping pets active and engaged, and making sure they feel comfortable and loved. I am a senior at American University, so my availability is fairly open. I am available on Saturdays all day. On Mondays, Thursdays, and Fridays, I am unavailable from 2pm to 7pm. However, I am available during other times on those weekdays. I am unavailable from 4pm to 7pm on Wednesdays, but free other times on Wednesdays. I have experience house-sitting and cleaning homes, so I know the importance of respecting someone else’s space. I feel confident that I can care for pets and assure owners that their pets and homes will be safe and intact.

About: Hello! I have been a regular pet-sitter, mostly for dogs, for 5 years. I am a patient, conscientious caregiver who loves to play, take walks, and cuddle with pets of any breed, size, and personality :) I am currently pursuing my masters degree during the evening at American University, but otherwise my schedule is very flexible. I am more than happy to pop into your home for quick dog walks, provide more intensive care like overnight/weekend sitting, and care for your pet like it's my own! I only have classes on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays from 5:30-8:00 pm, and can absolutely work around these commitments. I am a very hands-on, responsible petsitter who has experience working with dogs and cats that require a lot of attention and also have medical needs. I am comfortable administering medication to pets and caring for more than one pet as well. Fostering comfort, happiness, and your pet's wellbeing is what I pride myself on!

About: I have a pet Russian tortoise who requires special care and delicate handling that's more involved than, say, walking and feeding a dog or taking care of a cat. I have a pretty flexible schedule both this summer and into the fall. Pet care can easily be scheduled around my summer job and college classes. About: I love pets because I cherish the special bond between a human and a pet even when none of them speak the same language :) I have had a cat for 8 years and could watch friends dogs for over a year I really enjoy walking with a dog because it makes me feel zen and happy! I currently have a part time and remote job, so I have a flexible schedule. I can easily plan my day around walks, feeding, and spending time with pets. I make sure they get consistent attention and care throughout the day. I live a in a safe neighborhood with close dog parks. I stick to each pet’s usual routine as much as possible. About: When I was little, I was obsessed with dogs. I had books on dog breeds and watched videos on how to train them. After a lot of begging, my mom agreed to get me a dog, as long as I took complete responsibility for him. Since then, from the age of nine, I have been responsible for a pet. I loved walking, feeding, and training my and others' dogs. My career is working with wild animals, but I love pets. I am a runner, hiker, and backpacker- I love being outside and moving with an animal! I have taken care of dogs, reptiles, birds, and cats, and I would love the opportunity to get fresh air with a furry friend! I am a graduate student, so besides my classes I'm hoping to work with animals as much as possible! I am free Monday and Wednesday mornings, Tuesday and Fridays, Thursday afternoons, and most weekends I cannot care for a pet in my own home, as it is too small and I don't think any animal would like that.
