About: I have more than 14 years of professional animal-care experience, including 10 years working as a veterinary technician. I’m comfortable caring for pets of all ages and personalities, including seniors, shy or anxious pets, and animals with medical or special-care needs. My veterinary background taught me to pay close attention to the little things — changes in appetite, behavior, mobility, bathroom habits, or overall comfort — and to recognize when something may need closer attention. This allows visiting pets to have a calm environment and plenty of individualized attention. I follow each owner’s instructions regarding leashes, harnesses, feeding, medications, exercise, and household routines. My veterinary experience also means I’m accustomed to monitoring animals closely for changes in behavior, appetite, mobility, bathroom habits, or comfort. I take introductions slowly and let pets settle in at their own pace. I’m also happy to provide regular updates and photos so you can see how your pet is doing while you’re away.

About: I've taken care of many of my friends's cats my friend's cats and a couple of dogs. I am a quick learner and will respect you, your dog, your cat, or any animal you have. I wouldn't want to have to worry about my dog, so I wouldn't want you to worry either! I am mostly available throughout the day, just make sure to contact me with time! I am typically open most weekends and I can work with your schedule if it is at last minute and I'm free! The area that I live in has a pretty walkable area, with plenty of trees to sniff and roam. The apartment complex is pet friendly and safe.

I’ve had dogs my whole life, and have been caring for my own since the age of 8. I recently lost my own pup to illness and would love to put my grief to good use and care for other pups in need. About: All dogs need a friend who will run with them, chase sticks and get a little dirty. I’m here to make the city feel more like a jungle and less like concrete. I grew up in VA, working on a farm and playing with all kinds of pets, so I’m not afraid of big dogs. I’m a former D1 athletes, and I work in education, with a background in child and animal care so high energy pets are no problem. I’ve pet sat exotic breeds of dogs for cash during undergrad at Georgetown; I’m also comfortable with high need pets! I’m down to clown but I’ll always put your pets safety first! About: I grew up tagging along with my mom to dog shows, so I’ve spent time around all kinds of breeds and personalities. And yes—dog show life is pretty similar to the movie Best in Show! That background has given me a great understanding of canine instincts and temperaments, and I do my best to accommodate each dog’s unique needs so they feel completely comfortable. I started pet sitting for family friends as a teenager, and I’ve continued doing it ever since. I have experience caring for senior pups as well as dogs with medical or special needs. I truly believe every dog is an individual, and I tailor my care to match their personality and routines. I also have experience with aquariums, rodents, reptiles, and birds, so if you have additional small or exotic pets, I’m happy to care for them too. My kids (ages 7 and 11) live with me and are wonderful with dogs. Because of this, any pup we board should be kid-friendly. We also share our home with Mr. Mittens, our laid-back cat, who has lived peacefully with many dogs. If preferred, he can be kept separate during your pet’s stay. I think I was born in a whelping box.... or at least near one. My mother has shown dogs my whole life, and I grew up going to dog shows. I have extensive knowledge of a variety of dog breeds and love working with a full spectrum of dogs. I have personally lived with retrievers, shepherds, Portuguese water dogs, hounds, and pugs, and a variety of quirky mutts. I am currently without a dog and would love to spread some of my misplaced adoration to your pets. My experience administering medication I have administered pills, shots, ear/eye drops, creams, etc. over the years. I also owned a dog who went blind, and I have a soft spot for special-needs dogs. On the first day your pet is with us, I pay close attention to what they are interested in and adjust things as needed.

My apartment is spacious and comfortable, giving pets room to relax and feel at home. We also have a dog park right at my apartment building, which is perfect for dogs who enjoy getting some extra exercise and socialization.
