I'm excited to have a new furry friend over to play with my pup! I absolutely adore dogs and have always had them in my life. Nothing makes me happier than being around them. I live in a lovely neighborhood with plenty of opportunities for long walks and outdoor adventures. Please don't hesitate to ask me any questions - I'm confident that my flexible schedule and ability to provide updates throughout the day will make for a great dog-sitting experience. I'm also open to dog-sitting if you need someone to watch your furry friend for a while I work from home, I am available every day with a very flexible schedule. On the weekends, I stay mostly in the house, and I have help partner's help. I have a small fenced backyard and I live in a lovely neighborhood with plenty of opportunities for long walks and outdoor adventures . It is a lovely dog friendly community.

About: I have been blessed to have great pet's for almost the entirety of my life. I consider them some of the best friends I've ever had and shared strong bonds with them all. I have plenty of experience sitting for both dogs and cats for friends, family, and strangers alike. I was also a frequent participant in Humane Animal Partner's "Doggy Day Out" program. Through this program I was able to grasp the nuances of caring for dogs I was not familiar with and understanding how they all can have differing needs. I'll be sure to provide the love and care your pet deserves. I am currently working part-time while exploring more stable career options. This leaves me with plenty of time to be there for your pet throughout most parts of the day. Through clear communication from my client's, I can responsibly meet whatever needs your pet may need. “Shelby was fantastic with my two cats when I was away for 8 days. She came over daily to feed and give treats and attention to them and always sent me detailed updates on sightings (one of my cats is very shy). I appreciate the extra effort she put into trying to find them both every day instead of just assuming they were ok, adding food and leaving. I’ve had that in the past so I’m really happy Shelby sat for some time each day waiting to see if the cats would come out. She also cleaned up a couple of messes that were made, definitely above and beyond what I was expecting! She is a real find on Rover and I will definitely be using her again!”

I’m a student but I’m available to care for your pets throughout the week, and I’m always available on the weekends. Or whenever needed. Caring for pets in my home or a client’s home starts with understanding each animal’s routine, including feeding schedules, exercise needs, and any medical requirements. I make sure pets have fresh water, a clean and safe environment, and plenty of attention and affection. I also follow any specific instructions from the owner, such as administering medication, maintaining training consistency, and keeping the pet comfortable while the owner is away.
