About: I am a true Capitol Hill dog lover and I have always had a strong passion for animals, mostly for dogs. I have been caring for dogs since I was child, taking care of my mother’s beloved shitzu. Taking care of her helped me acquire basic canine behavior and taught me the responsibility of taking care of a pet. Most recently I raised my own best friend, Gelato an English Bulldog. I gained my breeder experience with Gelato and cared for her and her 6 puppies, until they were rehomed at 8 months. I enjoy taking long walks, which I consider the ultimate stress reliever and best way to exercise. I have no problem getting my hands dirty. I make sure that I spend a little time playing with them if they’re older dogs and I spend a little time rubbing them or petting them. About: Dogs and cats have always been a big part of my life. I grew up with 6 doggies and volunteered at a greyhound rescue throughout my childhood. I had a dog of my own named Bo, who recently passed. He was a pit mutt and the sweetest and silliest boy in the entire world. From fostering puppies to elderly dogs, I have participated in it all. I have helped friends and family with their own furry friends and even have experience training dogs! I have a very active lifestyle so I am well prepared to care for a hyper pup! After losing my soul dog I am just not ready to get another fur baby, but I really do miss spending quality time with our four legged friends. I would be so very honored to spoil your pup with walkies and love as if it was my own. I am an incoming law student so my summer is wide open with the exception of some remote work here and there! I have all the time to spoil your four legged friend! In my own home, my dog was free reign. My bed was his bed! However, if the rules are different in your own home, I am happy to stick to them :) I am familiar with crate training, administering oral medications, feeding schedules, etc. I am flexible and will do whatever I can to best accommodate you and your furry friend. About: I have a genuine love and care for different animals. When time permits itself, I do want to open up a nonprofit for animals who have been abandoned. I care for all animals not just dogs and cats 💕 I currently work on an intermittent schedule, which causes me to travel at the last minute. About: Growing up, we weren't allowed to have animals in the house. As an adult, I love playing with the fur babies and have some of my own now. Had one cat, then 2 and then 9 cats as well as two puppies. It helps me stay active while making an income along with keeping my schedule a bit flexible. In my personal time I am spending time with my 2 little girls teaching them how to play sports, and of course how to be loving pet owners. Thank you for taking the time to visit my page! I’m currently working part time and will be available to walk most pets during early mornings hours during the week and mid day and evenings during the weekend. I definitely would like to know your pets temperament, and what might scare them. I know they will feel most comfortable at home but if they are with me, I’d like to keep a calm, pet friendly setting for them to be comfortable in.

“This was my first time leaving Jules with a sitter for two weeks and Shelby was the best! She provided daily updates along with pictures. Although Jules was timid at first, Shelby and her dog Rona were very patient with Jules warming up in their home and her quirkiness (like finding weird spots within their home to chill out). Will definitely use Shelby's services again!”

“David & Santos are THE BEST! They have taken care of my sweet girl multiple times now and they are so wonderful with her! They are very responsive, easy to communicate with, and always send photos of her snuggling or playing with them. She gets taken on lots of walks and spoiled with love there! My dog typically has anxiety when I leave, but she does so great with them and I don't have to worry while I'm gone! She also has a condition that she takes a variety of meds for, and they are very diligent about making sure she gets them on time and caring for her. 11/10 would absolutely recommend!!”
“Payton and Graham were fantastic with our dog, Indy. They have a backyard he loved playing in, but even more impressive they were able to get his halter on (he's extremely headshy) and take him on actual walks. Videos they sent showed Indy snuggling with Payton in a way he has only done with us before. Communication was excellent, and Indy clearly loved being there. Not only would we book again with Payton and Graham, I'm doing so right now!”
“Katie was an excellent sitter for Porkchop and Bronson. She communicated regularly and sent pictures, was flexible with pick up and drop-off, made sure they both received plenty of exercise, and modified Porkchops feeding when he had digestive issues. Would absolutely book with her again!!!”
