About: I've grown up with two golden retrievers and one lab, and many cats. In college, my roommates and I fostered a momma cat and her babies. Right now, I have two cats and a dog of my own. Therefore, I know how it feels to leave a pet alone and want it to have the best of care, and I'll make sure to keep your pet safe, comfortable, and active! I'm very reliable, responsible, and love working with pets! I volunteered at my local animal care league when I was younger. Right now, I volunteer at the Animal Welfare League of Alexandria. I've been on Rover for almost two years now and have watched dogs and cats. People tend to book me for their cats, since I am a bit of cat whisperer, but I personally don’t discriminate between cats and dogs :) Please let me know anything relevant about your pet's needs and I'll be happy to accommodate. This depends on when I am booked; I telework two days a week so those days are more flexible. If I am at the office, I would come by before and after work. Animals wouldn’t be coming to my home. For the clients home, I like to ensure that the pets are having their environment stay as similar as possible to what they usually receive, absent you!

About: I have had experience interning at animal centers and walking big dogs . I have 4 cats of my own ,so I understand the individual identity that they have and how to be respectful to there needs. I'm currently a recently college graduate,I have a lot of times on my hand as of right now since I am taking a gap year. About: Growing up, we weren't allowed to have animals in the house. As an adult, I love playing with the fur babies and have some of my own now. Had one cat, then 2 and then 9 cats as well as two puppies. It helps me stay active while making an income along with keeping my schedule a bit flexible. This helps just in case I need to pick up one of my step sons. I walk my fur babies everywhere 2-3 times a day. My other fur babies (guinea pigs), make sure they have what they need for the day as well. Once everyone is taken care of, I then start my day officially.

Because I work from home, your pup won't be left alone for long stretches — there's almost always someone around for belly rubs, a quick play session, or a nap on the couch. I aim for a balanced routine: walks and play to burn off energy, plus plenty of downtime to relax. I live in a house (no fenced yard, but I'm happy to leash-walk as often as your dog needs), and I'm set up to host small and medium dogs comfortably. Puppies and seniors are equally welcome — I'll adjust the pace and schedule to whatever your dog needs to feel at ease. I offer boarding, doggy daycare, dog walking, and drop-in visits, so whether you need overnight care or just someone to check in during the day, I've got you covered. Your dog will be treated like one of my own — because while they're with me, they basically are. Pet care is woven into every day around here. I work from home, so my own dogs and cats set the rhythm of my schedule — morning walks and breakfast, a midday stretch and play break, afternoon check-ins between meetings, and evening wind-down time. I'll send photo updates so you can see how they're doing. Dog Walking: I show up at the scheduled time, follow any walking preferences you've shared (pace, route, favorite spots, things to avoid), and keep your dog leashed and attentive the whole time. After the walk, I make sure they have fresh water and are settled before I head out, then send a quick update with photos and notes on how the walk went. Drop-In Visits / House Sitting: I follow your instructions closely — feeding, fresh water, medication if needed, potty breaks, playtime, and any other routines your pet is used to. I'll also keep an eye on the basics around the house (lights, mail, plants) if that's part of what you need. You'll get a photo update from every visit so you know your pet is happy and your home is in good hands.
