Pet care experience

Dog owner and lover!

I have had dogs my whole life and had a Bernese Mountain Dog for nearly 13 years, who passed away last year, and I adopted a rescue mutt mix three years ago. I previously had a Newfoundland, dachshunds, and a border collie/lab mix. I absolutely love dogs and will give them all the attention they need. I have taken care of dogs for many friends and family as well. I'm happy to take dogs for walks, runs, to the park, or anything else they may need! I also volunteered at the Humane Society in Colorado for many years and I'm comfortable with a variety of dog breeds and personalities. My rescue is anxious and has separation anxiety so I’m also familiar dealing with pups that may need some additional time to warm up and/or require special accommodations. I’m also available for cat sitting and adore all kinds of cats.

Taylor is always so great with our pup! She follows her cues and sends great photos and updates. She is always very responsive and easy to schedule with!

When I needed a sitter to hang with our rambunctious puppy for an evening, Taylor impressed me immediately with how promptly she communicated - even while traveling. She made time for a meet and greet, was extremely prompt, and sent us lots of updates and photos. We came home to a content and sleepy pup, and can’t thank her enough. We’d gladly book her again!

All the stars for Taylor! Communication was excellent, she was a very courteous house guest, and most importantly, she was phenomenal with my two pups. In particular, I have one shy but very sweet JRT, and Taylor handled his quirks beautifully (he was demanding pets in record time). My other dog, a hound, is sweet but full of mischief, and Taylor likewise was really great about his big dopey antics. We loved getting to have Taylor take care of our boys, our boys really loved Taylor (and their new friend Gizmo!!) and we are excited to use her services again next time we travel!

Taylor was an awesome find to take care of Lido and Noodle. Grateful for all the pictures and daily communication. And the hauling in of unexpected packages. Thank you so much!

Taylor was very friendly and communicative before and during her time sitting Buddy! We felt very comfortable knowing she (and Gizmo!) were there to keep him company while we were out of the country. 100% would ask Taylor to dogsit again!!

Taylor was so great. Helped us out in a pinch and was wonderful with our quirky, big girl.

Schedule

I am currently working from home and available on a very flexible schedule. I have a dog of my own so I am already on a regular schedule taking him out and feeding him. HOUSE SITTING CLIENTS PLEASE READ: I have my own small 20 lb rescue dog who will need to be able to come with me for overnight sits. No problem if that doesn’t work for you, but then I’m not the right sitter for you.

Cats
0 to 15 lbs
16 to 40 lbs
41 to 100 lbs
over 101 lbs
Taylor can host up to 4 drop-ins per day
I would want to know any fears or triggers I need to watch out for and how your dog is going to do with my dog (if they’re going to be in my home). I require all boarding clients to be crate trained. Dogs will only be crated when I am out of the home, which will not exceed the time limit agreed upon with the client before boarding.
Each sitter joining Rover needs to pass a background check. And by booking on Rover, you can get photo & message updates, 24/7 support, and reimbursement for eligible vet care.
