About: It's love being able to make sure pups are loved, happy, and kept on routine when their parents are away. I have had sitting experience with a wide variety of dogs: puppies, big dogs, multiple dogs, dogs with cat siblings, and dogs with separation anxiety -- and love them all. I understand each dog has their special ways and am very adaptable with their needs/schedule. I love walking around dc and usually walk 5+ miles a day--which is always better with a dog walking buddy. Happy to go to a dog park if they love other dogs, or just go for a long walk to explore. I work regular hours during the week but am available for weekends & evenings. I watched my roommates dog regularly over the past three years but we sadly had to put her down due to bone cancer. Looking forward to gaining some new walking buddies. I typically work remotely, so I have flexibility to meet the needs of your pet. I update my availability week to week depending on work and travel schedule. I have two dogs of my own at home with their own special personality, so I am comfortable adjusting to meet the needs of your dog and give them the most attentive care while their favorite human is away.

Shannon was great. This was my first time arranging care for my cat Milo, but Shannon's experience showed when she knew all the things to consider so that his needs were met. During my trip she provided updates and photos and I knew she was being conscientious and spending quality time with him during the drop in visits. Milo was well cared for. Shannon was also very responsive to all my questions prior, during, and after the service.
Thomas was absolutely incredible, and I can’t recommend him highly enough. He cared for my three indoor cats (one is diabetic and needs insulin injections every 12 hours), my backyard alley cat, and even my turtle while I was away. Managing that many animals with different needs is no small task, but Thomas handled everything flawlessly. The biggest concern for me was my diabetic cat, since her insulin schedule is critical. Thomas was consistently right on time for every single injection, which gave me enormous peace of mind while I was traveling. What really set him apart, though, was how thoughtful and proactive he was. I had left a window open so the cats could enjoy watching outside. Thomas noticed the forecast called for torrential rain and reached out to ask if I wanted him to close it—something I hadn’t even thought about. It’s that kind of attention to detail that shows he genuinely cares for both the pets and the home. He kept me updated, communicated clearly, and I came home to happy, well-cared-for pets and felt completely confident they had been in excellent hands. I would book Thomas again without hesitation and wholeheartedly recommend him to anyone looking for a reliable, compassionate, and exceptionally conscientious pet sitter.
