I’m an avid animal lover. I have cared closest for dogs and reptiles. I love all breeds of dogs and cats. I helped train my family standard poodle, Lacey, when she was a pup and continue to care for her (now 12yrs old) for months on end while the fam is abroad but she does not live with me 365. I’ve cared for male and female dogs of all sizes, ages including hyper adolescents and less active seniors (eldest 15), and breeds including poodles, labs, mixed breeds (husky-pits), and shi tzus. While I love all pets, I am not currently a dog or cat owner so I can accommodate the sassier pets that may not like to socialize with other pets. I do have a leopard gecko (going on 10yrs old) who might as well be a chameleon because she has yet to be noticed by another pet. I have a fenced backyard and I love long walks (with or without a furry friend although a walk is always better with the sound of pawsteps). I welcome that all animals have different personalities and I will read your pet’s body language to determine whether a few cuddles or some space is appropriate.

I work from home (going into the office one day a week) and have flexibility with my hours so I can likely work with your schedule.

Safety, trust & environment
I have a fenced yard and also love walking. The only other in-house pet is a leopard gecko named Coco who’s never noticed by other animals. Lacey the poodle does not live with us 365. I live within walkable distance of both wooded and gated dog parks.

A typical day
Your pet and I will enjoy both physically and mentally stimulating activities during our time together, including finding hidden treats, walks to and through nearby parks, and their favorite activity (which I rely on you to share with me).
