My name is Sonja and I am one of those animal lovers - from the XL dog breeds to the teacups, and everything in between. We lost our beloved 10-year old dog in Aug ‘24, and I’ve been missing having a bestie around while I work from home, but am not ready to get a new dog yet. I’m excited to befriend some new pups! My house is a 3-story rowhouse in the Kingman Park area. Your dog can run around the entire place, help me garden in the front and side yard (3.5-ft fence) and/or lounge in our small back patio, that has a high 6-ft fence (which is especially helpful for jumpers!). I have an XL crate that I can set up, if requested, should your dog prefer their own space.

Sonja was great. We knew from the meet and greet that she was going to be a great fit for our baby. I have a big pitbull so it’s hard to find sitters but she was so welcoming and has experience with big dogs. She was great with communication as well! I’ve never seen him happier with a sitter!! Our pup can be weird about meeting other dogs and she made sure to ensure his safety along w the other dogs. Nothing but great things to say and we will continue to book with her!
Sonja was so wonderful with my sweet foster puppies! She gave them everything 12 week old babies could ask for...plenty of cuddles, play sessions, and delicious treats. They had so much fun they conked out on the car ride home!
Sonja was amazing and helped us out short notice. Our sweet Boomer has anxiety and she was understanding and accommodating with him. She kept us updated with his walks and potty breaks. She promptly responded to messages and sent photos of him settling in. Boomer goes everywhere w us, but couldn’t today due to a last minute trip change, and us having to check out of the hotel. When dropping Boomer off, we immediately felt comfortable with Sonja. We knew that we could leave him w her, enjoy the activity we had planned, and know he was in good hands. 10/10 recommend her and would 100% use her services again when in town.
Sonja was so patient and kind with our Millie girl! She sent us photos and videos during her stay. Communication was very smooth and we would highly recommend her for any pups!

As always Sonja and Suly were exceptional. My little Kiwi had the best time! I received the cutest pictures and videos of her playing her heart out - She loves going over there and it's a peace of mind that my baby is in such good hands.

Schedule
I work from home full-time, 5 days a week. My mornings and evenings are flexible. I designed my lifestyle around our dog who passed away, so he got walked whenever he wanted (when I wasn’t in meetings) and could spend his time in the yard or back patio when he pleased.

Safety, trust & environment
The front/side yard are ideal for socialite guests who want to greet the neighbors. The back patio is hardscaped in brick and is great for my introverted guests who would prefer birdwatching and lounging in as much peace as a city can provide.
A typical day
A typical day includes: Walks or runs, playtime inside or outside, chill time, and of course, all of the affection they can handle. Working from home means I typically walk them before work, at lunch, and after work, with a short pee break before bed.
