I have owned several dogs over the years, but as my life got busy I could no longer care for a dog in my home. I really miss having a pet but, cant commit to having one full-time. I really wished services like this were available to me years ago and now that it is available I hope to help others keep their pets! It helps me too! I get to enjoy the love of a dog or cat for a few hour a day or a few days per week while you get to take care of your personal business. I am a HR Professional by day and animal lover at all times! I am currently working a hybrid schedule where I have some days in the office and at least two or three days of work from home a week. However my schedule is pretty flexible. UPDATE MONTH OF JULY: I have two nieces and nephews who will be staying with me for their summers in July. They will be home when I'm away with the pets. They are fourteen and seventeen years old and will be here July twentieth through the end of the month

Sheriece made everything about our dog's recent stay with her convenient for us, from drop off to pick up. Immediatly after meeting I felt completely comfortable with leaving our pup with her overnight and frequent check ins only added to my lack of worry. We will definitely book with Sheriece again.
Sheriece was wonderful with our new puppy Loomis! You could tell when we picked him up that he had been able to bond with her, which he has been not been able to do with many people. She worked on training with him throughout the weekend on the things we had been practicing with him and beyond. She sent us plenty of photos and updates to keep us at ease! We are already planning our next trip and are excited to work with Sheriece again!
If i could give Sheriece 10 stars, I would! She was an incredible sitter for Fritz and he felt right at home with her! She did a great job at communicating with us and keeping us updated all weekend long. She went above and beyond to make sure he was happy and well taken care of and we are definitely going to use her services again!! Thank you, Sheriece!!

Schedule
I recently picked up some contract work where I am 2-3 days a week in the office 9-5 and then the other days 100% remote. There are some hours during the week where I'll be away from home, but if you need to message me about the schedule or your specific needs, I'm sure we can figure something out.

I live in a condo building so dogs who are reactive to noises or activities by other pets when looking out the window may not be a good fit if they bark a lot, as my neighbors are used to a quiet environment. I require meeting the parents and the dog before I provide services. This way we can agree on the needs of the specific dog rather than focus on my needs. I use that meeting to decide and help the parents decide if I am the right caretaker for their fury loved one. I live in a secure condo building with plenty of pets in a neighborhood that is very walkable and has plenty of dog parks around. If your dog is not friendly to other dogs, children or people, my neighborhood might not be the best fit as there are a lot of dogs out and about on our daily walks. I am the best fit for dogs who are well leash trained, used to a quiet home environment, and are friendly to both dogs and people. I do not allow large dogs on furniture. I make an exception for small dogs under 15 lb.
A typical day
My area is perfect for dogs. I live close to the Potomac and there are loads of dog parks nearby, at least three that are within walking distance. I usually stick to the dog's routine and make sure to follow the parents' instructions. We can either go for a run in the park or chill at home. The schedule really just depends on the dog's needs but my favorite thing to do is play, so sorry I might spoil your loved one a bit.
