“I was really impressed with Jason N. and can't recommend him highly enough! My pup is a shy rescue with separation anxiety, but she immediately felt right at home at Jason N.'s and was having so much fun with the wonderful resident dog that she barely noticed when I left. I received regular updates on her day that completely assuaged any concerns I'd normally have, and when I picked her up at the end of the day I found her happy, relaxed, and all played-out. Having someone I really trust to watch Stella is an immense piece of mind, and I'll definitely be calling Jason N. next time I need a sitter.”

“Our puppy Fiona had a great stay with Chad, and Chad was super obliging and communicative when we had to adjust our second visit at the last minute. Thank you!”

“Michael was great ! Last minute booking but he made me feel super secure about leaving my dog with him. My dog can be alittle overstimulated at times just because he has small dog big dog imposter syndrome but michael did great constantly giving me updates. Everything was amazing and will def be reaching out again when I need a sitter!”

“Josefa took special care of Indy and treated him with lots of love! She was very quick at responding to me and sent lots of pictures. I would definitely book again with her!”

“Stephanie and Shawn are amazing! They’re an incredibly warm and hospitable family with three amazing pets that my beagle seemed to love. I felt that my pup was incredibly safe and comfortable, 15/10!”
“When we arrived to drop our dog off with Michael for the second time, she leapt and cried with joy to see him. That's how happy she is spending time w him. We couldn't be happier. Thank you, Michael!”

“Brianne was absolutely amazing with Chai! She kept me consistently updated throughout the day with details about Chai’s walks, feeding times, and overall behavior, which gave me so much peace of mind. The pictures she sent were the highlight of my day — it was clear that Chai was comfortable, happy, and well taken care of. It really seemed like she enjoyed her time at daycare, and I couldn’t have asked for a better experience. I’ll definitely be booking with Brianne again!”

“Joey did a fantastic job to take great care of my 7-year-old labrador who had a bit of separation anxiety. I am so grateful with Joey to accept the last minute request after a brief meet up. I would love to use his services again and highly recommend him. Thanks again Joey for your flexibility and patience with Meimei!”

“Grette is amazing! She watched Loup for an extended stay before, and followed all our detailed instructions, as well as walking our dog many miles each day. Today, she was caring for him just during the day, and when we arrived, Loup ran right up to her with excitement. They walked 7 miles together! Her communication has been excellent, and the feedback and photos during our longer stay was above and beyond. Can't say enough good things about Grette!”

About: I have loved animals all my life and grew up surrounded by cats, so caring for pets comes naturally to me. I have a calm and positive energy that helps me connect with animals, and I enjoy playing with them as much as keeping them safe and comfortable. I’m patient, caring, and responsible, always paying attention to each pet’s unique needs. In my free time, I enjoy reading, which also means I’m happy to spend quiet moments with pets who like calm company. I work remotely with a flexible schedule, which allows me to manage my time easily and dedicate attention to pet care. This way, I can adapt my routine around the pets’ needs, whether it’s playtime, feeding, or simply keeping them company. I have experience caring for dogs in the home of friends and family, and I naturally connect with animals. I pay close attention to their needs, whether they want affection, playtime, or simply some space to relax. I always make sure pets feel safe and comfortable, keeping their routines consistent and giving them plenty of love and care.
“Caleb was absolutely fantastic with my pup Avi, who, at 15, is very sweet but can be a bit stubborn. But he took to Caleb immediately, following behind him with his tail a-wagging! In addition to being so great with my dog, Caleb was incredibly responsive, polite, and had great energy.”

About: I’ve had dogs and taken care of them since I was a child. I’ve owned an Airedale terrier, a pug, a Russian terrier, and my family currently has a Japanese spitz. I’ve got all sorts of experience - I have adopted a doggie from a shelter before, and I’ve also raised my two pups from 3 months old until they passed a few months ago at ages 14 and 16. I’ve boarded dogs - I looked after a friend’s pug for a week, a family friend’s elderly golden retriever, and fostered a stray my sister and I rescued before someone adopted her. I’ve taken road trips with multiple pets, and flown across the country with 3 of my dogs, I’ve taken them to all sorts of vet appointments, and been with them through all stages of their lives. I’m on this platform looking for company to heal from losing my furry friends, because being around dogs brings me peace and joy. I am a performing artist and I travel a lot for concerts, so having my own pet is unfortunately not feasible at the moment, hence I decided that taking care of someone else’s furry babies while I’m home between performances is the second best thing:) You can rest assured that I’ll take great pleasure in taking care of them and having them in my home. I work from home during the day and I am home from evening until morning, too. I do however step out for errands and appointments. Your dog will be with me most of the time while staying in my home, walked 2-3 times and fed on schedule, but should be comfortable being on its own for 2-3 hours max, if I have things to do. If your doggie has severe separation anxiety and is unable to be alone at all, I can accommodate that with enough notice and for 2x my normal nightly rate. I’ve always let my dogs run free around the house and make a safe space for them where they liked, but I did crate my rescue doggie when he first arrived to slowly acclimate him to the new place. Whatever you prefer for your dog is fine by me and I’m happy to accommodate. I don’t have a yard, but I have plenty of green areas nearby where I’d walk your furry pal. I keep my dogs on leash at all times. I like training them and playing with them to give them some mental stimulation, but if they prefer to chill and not be bothered I’m cool with that as well
Barnaby Woods dog parents share their Rover experiences
Christine is a wonderful sitter. Jax is a senior dog, and I always feel confident leaving him in her care because she is patient, attentive, and understands his needs. He comes home happy and relaxed after every stay, and I highly recommend her to anyone looking for a reliable and caring pet sitter.

Caleb was absolutely fantastic with my pup Avi, who, at 15, is very sweet but can be a bit stubborn. But he took to Caleb immediately, following behind him with his tail a-wagging! In addition to being so great with my dog, Caleb was incredibly responsive, polite, and had great energy.

Grette is very communicative and so great with Louie. He was so happy to return to her house the next day for another session of doggy day care. They went on long walks (rain and heat permitting) and Louie had a great time. He is looking forward to his next visit!

Michael is always reliable, this my second rover experience with michael and he’s always on top of communication, sending me photos of sevyn, asking any questions he might have. He’s honestly been such a big help on days I need someone to take care of sevyn even if it’s last minute
