Hi, I’m Ken! I’ve been dog sitting intermittently throughout my life for friends and neighbors here in DC. I’ve lived in several pet-friendly group houses, so animals have always been a big part of my adult life. Now that my home is pet-free, I really miss having dogs around, which is what inspired me to start sitting. I understand how important it is to create a safe, enriching, and loving environment for pets. I treat every dog like family and pride myself on being attentive and responsive to their needs. Because I work from home full-time, I’m able to provide frequent walks, plenty of attention, and lots of love and care. I’m very active and enjoy long walks around the neighborhood and at Meridian Hill Park. In my free time, I run and bike through Rock Creek Park. If your dog is trained to run, they’re more than welcome to join!

We went on vacation - leaving our dog Rex with Ken for a week. From the meet and greet, it was clear Ken was kind and was going to treat Rex like his own. While we were away, Ken provided us updates and spoiled Rex. He made the whole process seamless and provided us with the peace of mind to enjoy our vacation knowing Rex was in good hands.
Ken accepted my request on pretty short notice! Super thankful for that! Jäger had a great time being cared for & I’ll definitely use Ken again!
Ken did an amazing job watching Higgins this weekend. He was attentive, reliable, and made sure to send regular updates and pictures. It was clear Higgins was comfortable and well cared for. We would definitely trust Ken with Higgins again!
Ken took excellent care of my pup for a week. He followed all care instructions, sent daily updates, and was very responsive. The gated backyard was a big plus. Fritz is reactive with other dogs, but Ken handled walks confidently without any issues. I’ll definitely be using him again.

I’m work from home full-time, which means that I have the flexibility to care for your pet throughout the day! My morning always stay with a neighborhood walk and I’m excited for your pet to join me!

Your dog will stay with me in my large master bedroom within a quiet, pet-friendly group house. This is also where I work full-time, so they’ll have consistent supervision, companionship, and attention throughout the day. I also have access to a large fenced-in yard, giving them safe outdoor time to play and explore in between walks. I’m committed to following your care instructions closely so your dog can feel comfortable, secure, and thrive while in my home.
