Stacy was a wonderful sitter for our two pups. She was easy to coordinate with, thoughtful in adjusting our (frequently anxious) dogs to her house, and communicative while we were away. Looking forward to Bentley and Simon staying with her again soon!
Stacy is a wonderful dog sitter. During our meet and greet she made sure to introduce Daisy to her own dogs and the living spaces, and was thoughtful about how the other dog guests interacted. Stacy sent updates throughout our long trip including photos and feedback on how Daisy was coping with fireworks over the 4th, etc. We will definitely return to Stacy next time we are out of town!
Stacy took such wonderful care of my two dogs while we were away for 10 days. I truly can’t recommend her highly enough! I’m always nervous about leaving my dogs, especially since my girls can be a bit high-maintenance, but Stacy immediately put my mind at ease. She was incredibly attentive to their individual needs, personalities, and quirks, and she kept me updated on how they were doing throughout our trip. One of my dogs is leash-reactive and selective with other dogs, and Stacy handled those challenges with confidence and ease. My other dog is anxious and had a sore leg that required medication as needed, which Stacy managed thoughtfully and compassionately. It was clear that she genuinely cared about their well-being and treated them like her own. Knowing they were in such capable hands allowed me to relax and enjoy my time away. I would absolutely trust Stacy with my dogs again and wholeheartedly recommend her to anyone looking for exceptional pet care!
Stacy was wonderful with our Boston Terrier, Bella. Bella often needs time to feel comfortable in new places, but she seemed calm, happy, and relaxed during her two-night stay with Stacy and her dogs. Stacy sent us photos while we were traveling, and seeing Bella look so settled gave us real peace of mind. Stacy’s home is clearly well set up for caring for dogs, and Bella seemed to find her own little respite there. What stood out most is how relaxed Bella was when she came home. She does not always gravitate toward new people right away, but she seemed comfortable with Stacy, which says a lot. We are grateful to have found someone who provided such a stable, caring, and comfortable environment for our dog. We would absolutely trust Stacy with Bella again.
Stacy has provided excellent care for our two dogs over several years. She walked our older dog every day for years and was reliable, consistent, and one of our dog’s favorite people. When we added a second dog, Stacy took wonderful care of her too on regular walks. Both of our dogs have boarded with Stacy many times and I always appreciated knowing that they were in a home rather than a facility. They were always excited to see Stacy and we were always appreciative of the care she gave them.
Our dogs love staying with Stacy when we go away. We feel confident that they will be well fed, get ample exercise, and be showered in love. She has a way with pets! I recommend her highly. She will get to know you, your pets, and all their preferences. It's great to have peace of mind when we have to travel without our dogs, and Stacy provides that in abundance.

Schedule
I work remotely, which means I am home and attentive throughout the day. Boarding dogs are never left alone for extended periods. They get regular outdoor time in our fully fenced yard, midday walks, and plenty of attention morning, afternoon, and evening. I require a meet-and-greet prior to all first-time bookings. Please reach out at least 5 to 7 days before your requested stay. Returning clients are welcome to book with 48 hours' notice. For holiday weekends, I recommend reaching out 2 to 3 weeks in advance as spots fill quickly. Pickup and drop off are available upon request for an additional fee. Please message me with your location for a quote. I serve clients in Northwest DC and surrounding neighborhoods.

Your dog's safety and comfort are my top priority. Boarding guests have a dedicated first-floor living space with access to a large deck and a fully fenced yard for secure off-leash time throughout the day. I maintain my own professional liability insurance for added peace of mind. My home is dog-proof and calm. I do not overbook, keeping the number of guests small so every dog gets individualized attention. I provide regular photo and message updates throughout every stay, so you always know your pup is happy and well cared for.

A typical day
My boarding guests start the morning with outdoor time in our fully fenced backyard, followed by breakfast on their regular feeding schedule. Throughout the day, they have free access to the deck and yard for fresh air and off-leash play. Midday includes a walk around the neighborhood or additional yard time, depending on the dog's energy level. Afternoons are relaxed with plenty of downtime and one-on-one attention. Evening includes another outdoor session, dinner, and a wind-down routine. I send photo updates throughout the day so you always know your pup is having a great time. Backyard off-leash play and exploring, neighborhood walks, fetch on the deck, and plenty of couch time for the snugglers. I tailor activities to each dog's personality and energy level. High-energy dogs get more active playtime, while calmer dogs enjoy leisurely walks and relaxed hang time. Every dog gets individualized attention, not just supervision.
