I’ve grown up around dogs and have had many family dogs since childhood, so caring for pets has always been a part of my life. Over the years I’ve looked after dogs for friends and family, and since moving to Washington, DC I’ve also cared for both dogs and cats, including feeding, playtime, walks, and staying at the owner's home when needed. I’m a freelance graphic designer, which gives me a flexible schedule and allows me to work from home or from an owner's home, so pets can often have more company and attention during the day. I’m comfortable following each pet’s routine and needs, whether that means feeding schedules, walks, playtime, or reinforcing basic training habits. I enjoy spending time with animals and paying attention to their personalities and comfort levels. My wife is also around on some weekdays and all weekends, and helps care for pets as well. We live right across from Meridian Hill Park, which makes walks easy and enjoyable, and our residence also has a small dog park. Our building is very pet-friendly and home to many dog owners, creating a welcoming environment for dogs.
