About: What makes me different from others is pets love me and they are very comfortable around me. I never have any issues with any type of pet or animal. I have two amazing cats and I usually feed them early in the morning, play around with both of them until they get tired and sleepy, then it's cuddle time I personally wash my cats at home and i also take take them out for activities such as walking or having them play with different sticks and toys. I can accommodate your needs for your fur baby.

About: Dogs have played a huge role in my life starting with my family dog, a chihuahua/dachshund mix who was by my side for 13 incredible years growing up. Over the years, I’ve also cared for my family and friends’ dogs, who brought me lots of joy and made me want to give back to the dogs in need in our community. That’s why I am also a trained volunteer with the Brandywine Valley SPCA (BVSPCA). At the shelter, I have undergone formal training on dog body language, how to take dogs on safe and enjoyable walks, and how to provide enrichment for dogs of all ages and sizes. Working remotely full-time gives me lots of schedule flexibility, allowing me to easily adapt to your dog's preferred routine for walks, feeding, playtime, or potty breaks. For walks, I like to take dogs along the quant and quiet row home - lined streets of Petworth.

About: Hi! I’ve pretty much always had a dog or cat in my life, so taking care of pets is something I genuinely love. I grew up with a German Shorthaired Pointer and a pit bull (and plenty of cats!), so I’m super comfortable with bigger dogs, high energy pups and pets with strong personalities. I’ve also cared for senior pets and am comfortable giving medications, keeping up with feeding schedules, adjusting walks for different energy and mobility levels, and following all the oddly specific little routines that pets inevitably train us into. I’m a big believer in keeping things as normal and comfortable as possible while you’re away, so I’ll stick to your pet’s routine, give them lots of attention and happily send you photos and updates along the way. Whether your pet wants a long walk, a serious game of tug of war or just someone to hang out with on the couch, I’m very happy to be their person while you’re gone (and hopefully their new favorite sitter!). Pet care fits really naturally into my routine! I work a 9–5 in communications for a nonprofit think tank, with a hybrid schedule that has me working from home on Mondays and Fridays. That gives me plenty of flexibility for walks, playtime and check-ins throughout the day, especially around long weekends. I’m open to overnight stays, daily drop-ins, walks or a mix depending on what works best for you and your pet. I’m also happy to work around their usual routine as much as possible. I know pets tend to have their schedules figured out better than the rest of us! Since I provide care exclusively in my clients’ homes, my goal is to keep things as familiar and stress-free as possible for your pet! I’ll follow their normal routine closely, including feeding, walks, medications, playtime and, of course, plenty of attention and cuddles (if they’re into that!). I’m also very respectful of your home and will make sure everything is left just as I found it. Most importantly, I’ll keep you updated with plenty of photos and check-ins so you can relax knowing your pet is happy, safe and comfortable in their own space.

About: I've had dogs since I was about 14 years of age, from tiny terriers to large labradors. I've also been surrounded by some of the loveliest (and skittish!) cats, learning to love them like my own. I work only weekend nights, which is when my partner is available. Even then, I'm never more than a few minutes walk away from home in case of an emergency. Taking care of your fur baby is always top priority! I'm always home, and would never abandon a pet. I take my current dog everywhere I possibly can, and in the rare chance I have to leave, my dog is crated or isolated in a different room. We also have access to an enclosed patio.

I provide care in your home, secure yard, or neighborhood where your pet is most familiar / comfortable.
