I work part-time at the moment, and have a lot of flexibility in when and where I do work. I can stay home with your pet when needed, and take regular breaks for walks, meals and playtime.

Safety, trust & environment
The only pets regularly in my home are fish, so there is plenty of room and attention for your dog. I live on the third floor of a house that has small front and larger back unfenced lots, and am very close to Rock Creek Park and Walter Pierce dog park.
Information Scott C. would like to know about your pet
Your pet’s food, medical, engagement, and human-presence needs are the first things I’ll need to know about them! I’d also love to learn about your pet’s personality, and how I can make them feel most comfortable.
A typical day
I love to take dogs on adventures, or to play sith dogs or cats at home - fun engagement (and getting everyone tired out) is the name of the game! That said, I’ll never say no to a chill, cuddly pet.

Pet care experience
My family had dogs all through my childhood, and in college I fostered two dogs and volunteered regularly at an animal shelter. I have also fostered several cats over my last few years in DC. I don't have the money or time to adopt yet, so I'd love to help care for your pet!
Reviews

Scott was incredibly accommodating with our somewhat last-minute booking. He took great care of our pets and kept us updated with wonderful family photos throughout his stay. He was also very flexible and understanding when we ran into some unexpected travel issues on our way home. We really appreciated his communication and care for our pets, and we would definitely book Scott again!

Scott took wonderful care of our pug, Marco Polo. When Scott came for a pre-care visit, Marco was immediately drawn to him. So was I: he is warm and calm and capable. When we returned from our day away, Marco had clearly been well cared for. He was snoozing in one of his favorite spots. Scott send three photos over the course of the day--we could see that Marco was getting just the right balance of exercise out of doors, and quiet time at home. Thank you, Scott!

Working with Scott was great! He came back to give me my keys in the rain! 10/10 no notes and would book again :)
