About: My mother used to train dogs when I was younger so I’ve been around dogs ever since I was born. My older brother has been taking care of dogs and boarding for years and I help him out with his process Right now I’m taking a break from school so I am available everyday! When I go back to School my schedule will remain mostly unchanged. I respect unfamiliar pets personal space until they get used to me, when walking dogs I am very observant of my surroundings making sure there is no danger. I typically let out my dogs 5 times a day for around 20-30 minutes when I was younger I loved to go on walks as well sometimes for over an hour.

“Yasaman (Yasi) took care of our fur babies while my husband was having major surgery in the city. It was when hurricane Ida came through, so she had terrible weather to deal with as well. She provided excellent communication and regular updates. She let me know immediately when she noticed a little blood in my dog's stool. She tired out my energetic corgis with some long walks. I appreciated the care she provided and appreciated not having to worry about them since I was stressed about my hubby. Highly recommend Yasi.”

About: I have raised three dogs through puppyhood, adulthood, and seniorhood (a pointer/border collie mix, Weimaraner/greyhound mix, and a Westie). I have been trained in puppy obedience and clicker training and pride myself on being able to work with any dog-- from anxious, temperamental pups, to rowdy balls of energy, to silly couch potatoes-- I am here to keep your fur baby happy, healthy, and safe in your absence. In addition to my own dogs, I have had the privilege of caring for countless other friends' and neighbors' dogs and cats, and since moving to DC from California have been volunteering at the Humane Rescue Alliance shelter as a sensitivity-minded dog walker and enrichment provider as well as a cat care provider. I love all animals and am happy to help! I am currently a full time graduate student with a very flexible schedule and available to accommodate pet check ins, walks, and additional responsibilities within my class schedule. Depending on the dog's behavior, medical history, and location I work to minimize risks to the pet's safety and remain alert and attentive to the dog's body language as well as our surroundings, regardless of whether we are outside or inside.

I have been pet sitting for close to 7 years now, through Wag and also with Rover. Experience in administering medicine for both cats and dogs and currently in process to be First Aid certified for pets as well! (As of July 2025) I grew up with animals, as I had taken care of my own dog-Misia, a coackapoo, for 10 years and my mother with her Havanese dog, Tomo, of 4 years (and on-going!) I want to make sure I can provide a tailored approach to make sure your pets' needs are met as a photo enthusiast, happy to take pictures and provide an update throughout a boarding and/or a sitting especially. I have pet sit for other people's animals many times since then. I currently live with one cat. At this time I am offering dog walking services and will come to your home to pet sit a cat or dog. I am energetic and comfortable working with both large and small dogs. I am highly responsible and respectful of both your pets and your living space. I will diligently follow your instructions and keep your pet happy while you are away! Comfortable with providing medications and longer care requirements.

About: I am an animal lover without a pet of my own (thanks to lots of moving and travel). That said, I have been caring for furry friends on and off since high school. For the past three years, I’ve been the go-to caretaker for a friend’s cat in DC—and I never pass up a chance to walk a dog! I work a hybrid schedule—usually in the office just two days a week and at home the rest. With a pretty flexible (and relaxed!) work environment, I can often adjust my schedule with enough notice. So if I am staying in your home to care for your pet, will not be a problem to remain home caring for them. I tend to care more about others than myself (sometimes to a fault!), so when I am looking after your pet in your home, they will have my attention. I like to work in the same room as them whenever possible or check in regularly during breaks. If I’m dog sitting, you can count on them getting proper walks and plenty of attention. I always make sure they’re eating well and won’t hesitate to reach out if something seems off—better safe than sorry!
