Hello, My name is DJ. I have a long and great history with not only being an absolute dog lover, dog mom, but also being a very proud and popular Rover sitter where I previously offered dog boarding services full time with a maximum of three dogs each visit, I did this at my previous home in Kensington, Md. I provided the most excellent care, devotion and paradise to my previous dog friends. I was very popular with a long list of thankful clients and a tight schedule to offer hosting a poochtopia hotel environment totally centered in the needs of our furry guests. Always striving to making them happy, adding a bonus or two with a little extra training when needed, giving the agility to the few occasional athletic thrill seekers, satisfying the rambunctious pooches with their large appetites for play and exercise but also Cuddling and snuggling. Reassuring the quiet anxious ones. Working around their anxities and building them a trusty environment and more room to grow in confidence and tolerance. Gently and patiently working with senior dogs and giving their time and softer mobility and exercise. So many needs but there is so much of me I love to offer. You know; as little of a human I am, my lap fits any size pooch, my guests proved this to me! We were so happy to accommodate them and always gave the extra attention they deserved. We left them leave us feeling spoiled with love, knowing they were all royal in our Poochtopia Kingdom and they were ALWAYS happy to come back. My family and I miss those days... I no longer can offer boarding services due to downsizing and the scale of my new home in Gaithersburg, MD. However I am now offering walks in Bethesda, Kensington area, or Chevy Chase areas as I commute the area everyday. About me as a walker: I pride myself in being a 5.0 Rover sitter and go to great lengths to harmonize walks and accomodate my clients. Dog walking with a bit of training can be an specific Science that you gather over experience that most people overlook so pooches will often miss out on a lot without the proper guidance. I can add training as a perk for more structured walks to dogs in most need of guidance and usually get them to direct their focus for a behavioral change. Patience and gentle training go along way. I am NOT a miracle worker or a whisperer lol but I helped a lot of fur friends with the proper structure and consistency. Depending the needs of your pooch, I will accommodate more changes which I hope is an added value for pet parents and that this can enhance their pups walk quality, direction and fulfillment. I guide my way in through a better Behaviour specifically clients because safety is always my priority to them. I also value structure and obedience in dogs. I have some predictable rules in obedience but I also absolutely love helping them find their joy. I have good instincts for what he/she needs and humbly do what I can, just from experience and from what I learned in my journey with them. Every pet is individually unique and distinct in manner. I’m here simply to serve. I make modifications of care when it’s essential. Most of all I also know when my cares reaches its limits. I will be on point and very assertive in my communication with my clients when I can no longer serve you. If I can offer you a transition time to find another sitter on recurring walks I will also do my absolute best whenever possible. Thanks for considering my care!
