I am currently a full time caregiver, meaning my services are usually available 24/7, 7 Days a week unless stated otherwise on my posted schedule. I’m a DC native so I know every inch of DC very well. And I’m a recent graduate of Howard University so I’m very active and knowledgeable.

I do not have or own any pets at the moment, but will inform you if I am boarding a prior pet. However, I am qualified for CPR and elder dogs. 48hr cancellation period

Pet care experience
I’ve been taking care of animals my whole life, and professionally for 5-6 years. I currently specialize in cat & dog sitting and pet care. I have serviced over 200+ animals on rover and Your pet is always my first concern.

Chanelle provides greatcarefor Poppy who was reluctant to go with her when we started in January. Now Poppy waits at the door with tail wagging eager to go. Chanelle boarded Poppy last week while I was on vacation. Poppy was very happy and I ws confident she was very well cared for by Chanelle who truly enjoys her.
I hired Chanelle for about three weeks with daily visits, and she did an absolutely wonderful job. Originally, I had planned for visits every other day, but one of my cats suddenly became unwell, so I had to ask her at the last minute to switch to daily visits. She was very flexible and kindly accommodated this change without any issues. She took great care of my cats, making sure to administer medication properly every day, which gave me real peace of mind while I was away. She also consistently ensured that their food and water were replenished and that they were well looked after. I truly appreciate her reliability, flexibility, and the level of care she provided. I would definitely recommend her to anyone looking for a trustworthy and attentive pet sitter.
Chanelle has been walking my beagle since February. She is dependable, personable and Poppy looks forward to their walks. I have since engaged her for daycare and this summer she will be boarding for 10 days. I am so happy that I have found Chanelle to help care for my dog. I highly recommend her.
Apparently at some point she closed the bathroom door and my cat couldn’t get to his litter box. Came home to my cat having pooped on my bed and my couch smelling like pee. My whole apartment smells now. He would’ve been better off alone.
