I am experienced in taking care of dogs including those with high needs that require medications and puppies as young as 3 months. I enjoy dog grooming and provide services such as haircuts, trims and baths if requested. I have had wonderful experiences with walking, boarding, and house sitting. I am very engaging when I care for dogs, always making sure they get plenty of play and exercise if they are physically able, and I enjoy incorporating some basic training as a part of that play. I am sensitive to different needs of each dog and I socially accommodate for each of their needs. I am a very patient and warm caretaker.

Ayah was wonderful with Nugget. She was very clear about directions leading up to the weekend and was so nice in her communications. She was great at sending me updates at night as requested. Nugget looked so happy when I picked her up and it was very clear she was so well cared for while I was gone. Ayah was all around fantastic!
Ayah is the best! When it seemed like our dog Ozzy may be better off at home she offered to switch to house-sitting, providing Ozzy with many hours of quality time in our home and playtime with her own dog, walks, and even cutting his hair! She also took care of our plants and yard as an additional service which was very helpful while we were away. She is very responsive and attentive, kind and a true gem to find on Rover. We give her our highest recommendation!
I highly recommend Ayah! She is super communicative and cares so much about Louie. They went on long walks and played in the dog park. Ayah is very flexible with drop off and pick up times, and kept me updated throughout the day on how Louie was doing. Louie can’t wait to go back soon!

Ayah was a terrific sitter for our cat. She was thorough in getting the information she needed to provide quality care, made a real effort to connect with Luna, stepped up to provide some extra care that was needed at the time, and provided me with the updates I needed to feel confident about Luna's time without us. She is responsible, positive, resourceful, capable, and caring. The sitter you want!
Ayah is magnificent with our dog, Berkeley. Walks, training and lots of loving is included in the wonderful package that Ayah delivers everyday. Berkeley goes crazy every time Ayah arrives at our home. They have become great friends - and we are thankful for Ayah’s tremendous care and attention she provides to Berkeley.

Schedule
I build my schedule around my responsibilities and planned pet care but I typically wake up around 7am and go to sleep around midnight. I am used to frequent outings for dogs because I raised mine from when he was very young and he needed to go out about every hour. I have learned to be very patient and read signs of discomfort and needs in order to keep all animals safe, happy, healthy, and comfortable.

I have close access to a secluded dog park and beautiful green spaces in a very walkable neighborhood. If I am watching a dog in a new area, I always look for similar spaces where dogs can safely engage with their environment. Within the home, I like to combine toys and training to get the most out of my time there. I am very affectionate towards animals and will help them get their daily activity in. I know some animals are nervous and need their space, and I can always accommodate for their individual needs.
Pets
A typical day
I like to practice basic training with dogs, introduce them to new toys, play fetch, frisbee, and exercise together. I am also happy to relax and watch a movie with a dog or cat who is feeling lower energy. I am open to introducing pets to puzzles and games to keep their minds active.
