I have trained dogs, rehabilitated dogs, taken training to become a foster parent, have cared for puppies and senior dogs, fostered 7 dogs and only foster failed twice (adopted).

Galen is our regular sitter when we can’t take our pup along, it gives us great peace of mind knowing our dog is well loved and cared for when we’re away. The latest visit lasted 2 full weeks, we got regular updates and cute pics the whole time. Our dog had an ear infection pop up a few days ahead of the stay and Galen was really flexible in agreeing to give Juniper the necessary ear medications. Galen is easy to communicate with and is flexible. We really appreciate her and our dog loves staying with her and her pup Ginger.
Once again, Galen provided our dog, Bo with exceptional care. I honestly believe he feels like he is going to his second home!! We needed a last minute overnight stay and Galen was able to make it happen! We highly recommend her caring approach.
Galen provided our Bo with exceptional loving care for his extended stay with her. She did not hesitate to go above and beyond providing Bo with his special food and medicine. She is truly a gem, taking him for long walk and cuddles when they were back at her house. I know Bo looks forward to his next visit to her house as he knows it is his second home!

Schedule
I am home all day most days and have a sweet golden retriever who gets fed twice a day. During warmer months we take one long hike in the woods in the morning. I can let the dogs in the fenced backyard to do their business regularly. Daily brushing and monthly baths are a must: I have found the perfect deskunk formula for extra stinky dogs.

I have a fenced yard and a very submissive dog who is non-reactive to other animals and would be the perfect companion to keep your pet company. I would prefer to host dogs who walk well on leash with other dogs.

A typical day
I live near a shady/wooded area where we take a long hike to start the day. We are mostly going to chill in the house and will go out in the backyard for potty breaks and a game of chase or fetch if it is nice out.
