About: I am a true Capitol Hill dog lover and I have always had a strong passion for animals, mostly for dogs. I have been caring for dogs since I was child, taking care of my mother’s beloved shitzu. Taking care of her helped me acquire basic canine behavior and taught me the responsibility of taking care of a pet. Most recently I raised my own best friend, Gelato an English Bulldog. I gained my breeder experience with Gelato and cared for her and her 6 puppies, until they were rehomed at 8 months. I enjoy taking long walks, which I consider the ultimate stress reliever and best way to exercise. I have no problem getting my hands dirty. I have 20 years of experience in the customer service field and enjoy striving to provide the best experience to my clients. About: I’ve had 7 dogs over the last 24 years, two lived to be 18 and 19 yrs old. I was known for many years as the Brookland Dog Lady. This is the only time in my adult life that I have only one dog. I currently have one 2-year-old Cockapoo named Peaches. Peaches loves most dogs and people and is generally confident and submissive. She’s very good with large, young, and old dogs alike. My house is fairly quiet. Over my 24 years of experience with my own dogs and watching friends dogs, I have dealt with just about every health problem and ailment. I am experienced with puppies, seniors, providing insulin, doggie diapers, prescriptions and just about anything else you can think of. I love walking dogs through my neighborhood. I have a fully fenced backyard as well. I work primarily from home so I can provide a lot of attention and supervision. They are like children to me. I work from home so I’m never gone for more than a few hours. My daily schedule starts with breakfast for me and my dog, Peaches. I then take her out immediately to the backyard for a potty break. I then get ready for my day and work from home. I walk my dog in the afternoon every day with additional yard breaks throughout the day. We often stop to play with other dog friends along the way. I can do a second walk each day if needed. I feed her again around 6pm. I let her out again in the yard before bed. They would sleep in my bedroom at night - either on the floor in a dog bed or in bed with Peaches and me. I do have a doggy door that she can use as needed, but I do go out with her whenever she goes outside. I have a 7 ft wooden fence around my yard. I also have a gate across my front porch so that if any dog were to get out of the front door, they would not be able to get off the porch. Dogs are always leashed when outside of my yard. I have watched and cared for many dogs for my friends, family and neighbors over the years. I have also been "dogmother" (designated in the will to care for a dog if anything had happened to their human) by several friends and family.

About: I am great with dogs. Choose me if you want your dog to be treated like family and to get lots of exercise while you are away. I have a backyard that is fenced in, parks all around my home and we will go on lots of walks. We go on long walk in the morning and evening so your pet will get plenty of exercise and engagement with me. I currently work full time during the day with teleworking. I am free on the weekends and like to spend my time outside whenever possible. I have a fenced in backyard. About: Hi! I currently have two mixed labs named Graham and chocolate who are sisters. I also have a sweet young cat named toasted marshmallow. We call them the s’more gang at home! In the past I have had two adorable dogs, a 14 year old female Husky mix and a 11 year old male Pembroke Welsh Corgi. I've trained all of my dogs to travel with me via plane, boat, metro transportation, and do some services for me. The last two dogs mentioned (Angel and Enzo) have passed away due to old age, but they were with me from puppyhood until their last breath. I also have a lot of experiences of taking care of other animals such as rabbits, rats, bearded dragons, snakes, frogs, and whatnot. I love all animals, but dogs and cats are my absolute favorite. I have experience taking care of sick animals and love animals that are especially wary of strangers or need time to warm up to. I’m currently a full time student with classes just on select days of the week, so I have a lot of flexibility in my schedule. If I’m not housesitting for you (if you want to drop your pet off at my home), I have a huge fenced yard and lots of dog and cat beds/toys. We also have two young children under ages 4.

I have access and experience to great doggy parks equipped with fencing and great walking areas, and lots of car space for those longer trips or incase of an emergency where I have to safely transfer your fluffy children quickly. About: I have taken care of pets all of my life. I currently have a Siberian husky and a fluffy cat that I care for now. I have taken care of pets for a long time. I am currently working part time, so I am available to care for your furry babies! I am available weekdays and weekends after 3pm. I love pets. I do not have a fenced back yard, but I can guarantee that you furry babies will always be cared for and watched carefully. About: I've been a pet owner for over ten years for both dogs and cats. I used to work at a Montessori school for dogs, as a behavioral specialist at an animal shelter, and as a Attendant at a doggy daycare, so I have taken courses from both the Victoria Stilwell Academy and the Karen Pryor Academy and have some experience with animal training. I am familiar with many temperaments and how to properly approach a new friend. While I am still working towards certification, I’d be happy to positively reinforce good habits as well as teach your animal a fun trick or two (this extends to cats as well)! I work full-time and my schedule is decided on a weekly basis, so my availability isn’t something set in stone. I am transitioning to a new job though, so I will soon be generally available on weekends and evenings. At your home, I'm comfortable with pets of all temperaments. I can keep up with dogs who want to play all day, or I can chill and provide cuddles to the softer, gentler pups. Some pets are content watching from a distance, and I can do that as well. At my dog school job, we had a detailed system of categorizing different "play styles", and at my shelter job, I often taught interested adopters how to properly introduce themselves to a possible new family member. I hope to incorporate that into my work with your beloved pet so we can better understand one another.

About: I am a true Capitol Hill dog lover and I have always had a strong passion for animals, mostly for dogs. I have been caring for dogs since I was child, taking care of my mother’s beloved shitzu. Taking care of her helped me acquire basic canine behavior and taught me the responsibility of taking care of a pet. Most recently I raised my own best friend, Gelato an English Bulldog. I gained my breeder experience with Gelato and cared for her and her 6 puppies, until they were rehomed at 8 months. About: I’ve had 7 dogs over the last 24 years, two lived to be 18 and 19 yrs old. I was known for many years as the Brookland Dog Lady. This is the only time in my adult life that I have only one dog. I currently have one 2-year-old Cockapoo named Peaches. Peaches loves most dogs and people and is generally confident and submissive. She’s very good with large, young, and old dogs alike. My house is fairly quiet. Over my 24 years of experience with my own dogs and watching friends dogs, I have dealt with just about every health problem and ailment. I am experienced with puppies, seniors, providing insulin, doggie diapers, prescriptions and just about anything else you can think of. I love walking dogs through my neighborhood. I have a fully fenced backyard as well. I work primarily from home so I can provide a lot of attention and supervision. They are like children to me. I work from home so I’m never gone for more than a few hours. My daily schedule starts with breakfast for me and my dog, Peaches. I then take her out immediately to the backyard for a potty break. I then get ready for my day and work from home. I walk my dog in the afternoon every day with additional yard breaks throughout the day. We often stop to play with other dog friends along the way. I can do a second walk each day if needed. I feed her again around 6pm. I let her out again in the yard before bed. They would sleep in my bedroom at night - either on the floor in a dog bed or in bed with Peaches and me. I do have a doggy door that she can use as needed, but I do go out with her whenever she goes outside. I have a 7 ft wooden fence around my yard. I also have a gate across my front porch so that if any dog were to get out of the front door, they would not be able to get off the porch. Dogs are always leashed when outside of my yard. I have watched and cared for many dogs for my friends, family and neighbors over the years. I have also been "dogmother" (designated in the will to care for a dog if anything had happened to their human) by several friends and family.
