Kali had been spayed a week prior to her 4 day stay with Max, and had already ripped her stitches open once, so it was critical that Max made sure she stayed safe and kept her cone on. Max was unbelievably attentive and did an excellent job with her! He sent multiple updates with photos each day, had extra treats and toys for her, took her on multiple walks per day, and even did some basic training with her to make sure she could be left home by herself for brief periods. About: I am a pet lover. I grew up in a home with many pets including dogs and cats and have always had a special connection to animals. I love going on long walks and heading to the dog park when the weather is nice. I am here to help you care for your pet the best way possible. I'll always listen to special instructions and will show your pet the love and attention as if they were my own. I have a flexible schedule and am able to do "drop-in visits" and "rover now" walks during most week days when many walkers are unavailable. I am in the office two days a week, Tuesdays and a flex day. I can't wait to meet your fur baby! **I cannot accept pets that get into plants as I have a few not pet safe plants at home** **For house sitting you must be ok with my dog Buddy coming with me and staying at your house as well.** I work from home 3 days a week and am home most weekends! I too Iove middle of the day walks and all day hangs! I am in a pet friendly building that is super close to Rock Creek for longer walks. My home is child free, and smoke free. I do have a senior beagle mix I adopted from a family member who could not bring him with for an overseas move who is a full time pet at the home.

About: I've had dogs since I was about 14 years of age, from tiny terriers to large labradors. I've also been surrounded by some of the loveliest (and skittish!) cats, learning to love them like my own. I work only weekend nights, which is when my partner is available. Even then, I'm never more than a few minutes walk away from home in case of an emergency. Taking care of your fur baby is always top priority! I'm always home, and would never abandon a pet. I take my current dog everywhere I possibly can, and in the rare chance I have to leave, my dog is crated or isolated in a different room. We also have access to an enclosed patio.

About: I’ve owned pets, both cats and dogs, my whole life. Now that I’m living in the city and far from my family’s dogs, I miss the energy that a dog brings to everyday life. I work remotely from home with flexible hours. I am working on getting my steps in, so I’m happy to take pets on frequent short or long bathroom breaks or walks. I care for pets making sure the home is stocked with food and water, litter is clean, and that the space is friendly. I like to leave some toys around to encourage activity when I’m not present.
