I started taking care of my own cats when I was 8. They had health issues so I’m experienced in giving oral medications. When I was 10 I saved 2 brothers who I’ve taken care of since. About: I am a pet lover. I grew up in a home with many pets including dogs and cats and have always had a special connection to animals. I love going on long walks and heading to the dog park when the weather is nice. I am here to help you care for your pet the best way possible. I'll always listen to special instructions and will show your pet the love and attention as if they were my own. I have a flexible schedule and am able to do "drop-in visits" and "rover now" walks during most week days when many walkers are unavailable. I am in the office two days a week, Tuesdays and a flex day. I can't wait to meet your fur baby! **I cannot accept pets that get into plants as I have a few not pet safe plants at home** I work from home 3 days a week and am home most weekends! I too Iove middle of the day walks and all day hangs! I am in a pet friendly building that is super close to Rock Creek for longer walks. My home is child free, and smoke free. I do have a senior beagle mix I adopted from a family member who could not bring him with for an overseas move who is a full time pet at the home.

About: Had a dog growing up and rescued my current dog Relo 5 years ago. My fiancée and I adopted a dog from CDCK who just passed away, so we are looking to fill the void and help watch other dogs. One of works from home every day, so your dog will be at home with us and our dog Relo! We take our dog on 4 walks every day plus playtime! We have enrichment toys and play toys to keep your dog occupied. We live very close to a dog park which we go to almost daily. We let dogs on our couch and bed! We have experience providing medications and dogs of all personalities from our time fostering. Let us know if you have any questions or concerns! My partner and I both work flexible jobs where one of us will be home the entire time with your dog (if during the week). Otherwise, on the weekends, we have our own dog to take care of, so we’re never gone for more than a few hours on the weekends. We don’t have a yard but we take our dog out 4 times a day, and also take her to the dog park almost daily (our dog hates being wet, so just not on days it rains!). We have plenty of toys and chew treats. We let dogs on our couch and bed, and we love cuddles!

About: We’ve both had dogs in our family since we were young and we have our very own, paçoca! She’s a nova scotia duck toller. Her name means little peanut in portuguese and nothing describes her better than that. we love nothing more than to be around dogs. We would love to care for yours! We both work a hybrid schedule and at least one of us is always available to care for, play, and walk pets as many times as needed. We can provide your dog with the exercise they may need, whether it is a morning run, long walk in the afternoon, or dog park visit. We live in a pet-friendly two bedroom apartment with lots of light and space. Dogs we’ve cared for prior really enjoyed laying on the couch/their beds and getting some sun. We live very close to Logan Circle, which is a great, pleasant and green space in downtown DC for dogs to walk and play with other dogs. We love incorporating the pets’ routines into our own and can adapt as needed. Taking them on walks during the day is a great opportunity to take work breaks, get some fresh air, and enjoy the day. Our apartment is spacious and gets lots of sunlight, which the dogs love! It’s also close to lots of nice green areas such as Logan Circle or the S street dog park!

For house sitting, I treat your home with respect, keep it tidy, bring in mail or packages, and send regular photo and text updates so you always know how things are going.
