About: I have taken care of dogs and cats, ranging from tame and house trained, to feral and nonsocial. Neither have stopped me from caring for them and loving them like my own. I am a full time student currently back in school. I will have times I am away but I can think of nothing better than cuddling with your babies when needed. I needed to be out of town for the better part of a week, and having just moved to town, did not have any friends or family to watch after my large canine; Sam to the rescue! I had never used this service or this site before, so initially was a tad skeptical. After Sam's quick response, and then after meeting him in person, I knew Walter would be in good hands. I initially approached him requesting two walks per day, but due to his reasonable pricing, I suggested that I would be interested in adding a third walk every day. About: I’m available outside of class to take care of your best friend! I have a lot of experience dogsitting, taking care of both family and friends' pets. I get along with all dogs, from the wildly energetic to shy babies. I’m excited to be there to assist with walking, feeding, washing, or anything else that is necessary. I had a knee injury and suddenly needed a dog walker fast and Ivan was extremely responsive. Ivan has been so great with my Pittie, Kai. Kai has a neurological condition - NCL4A that makes her a bit wobbly and need some special attention and stability on walks at times and she also loves walks. Ivan has been really understanding of her needs and helpful with her and she gets so excited every morning for this walk.
My dog Bert is my Everything, he’s truly my Ride or Die. He’s also a fearful, reactive, and perfect boy all the same. Therefore, finding people to walk or care for him can be difficult. Dan is one among the few whom I feel totally at ease with knowing Bert is being prioritized and truly cared for while together. Nobody loves dogs like Dan, it’s a rare thing to see. Additionally, Dan has prioritized dog safety, which means he is aware of what dog anxiety looks like and how it manifests. He continues to train himself and his own dogs to maintain ongoing success in always changing environments which can be tough for anxious babies. That asset is tough to find in terms of your average dog walker. I’m so glad a person like Dan is out there giving it his all because to folks like me and Bert, that trust is priceless.

Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
