About: *MY BOOKING IS FULLY CLOSED AT THIS TIME* Hey! My name is Briana and I grew up with groomers and animal rescuers for parents. I was taught how to birth, wean, potty train, and care for many types of animals. I have worked in my parents grooming shop to help over the years and this included walking and bathing dogs. I have not only work experience and lived experience but also my passion for animals especially being a cat/dog mom myself. I have special experience with senior dogs and puppies, including wound care, medicine needs and dedicated time/attention. I can't wait to meet your furry loved one! I work Mon-Sat 7am-12pm at my fulltime job but am able to house sit and do drop ins around that schedule. I would be leaving around 6/630am and back around 12:30/1pm to handle any care needs. I am unable to host animals inside of my home due to my own cat not being a friendly guy. In my clients home I follow all rules set in place as well as keeping your furry loved one comfortable in their existing routines or whatever the client's expectations would be. I prefer taking written directions just so I have something I can always check back to ensure the most efficient care.

About: I work from home so my schedule is flexible around you! I only take one dog at a time (unless you have two that are familiar with each other) so that they get my full attention. As a longtime dog owner I know how important photos and updates are! I have a fenced yard, free treats, a clean dog proofed home where your dog will be safe, spoiled, and happy! I work from home so I can work around your schedule! I’m available Monday, Thursday, Friday and weekends! I’m available anytime of the day that works best for you. Also happy to do multiple walks per day if needed. I have a fenced in yard, and a 6 year old German Shepard/hound mix who is very friendly. We have a fully dog proofed home and lots of experience walking!
About: I’ve had dogs for over 24 years and have cared for all different breeds, sizes, ages, and personalities. I’ve always been a dog lover, so caring for them comes naturally to me. I know every dog is different, and I’m comfortable following their normal routine and giving them the attention, patience, and love they need to feel comfortable and happy. I work from home, so I’m home throughout the day and have plenty of time to give your pet the attention they need. My schedule is pretty flexible, which allows me to easily fit in potty breaks, playtime, walks, feeding, and lots of attention throughout the day. I have an unfenced front and back yard with plenty of room for outside time and play. Since the yard isn’t fenced, dogs will always be supervised and kept safely on a leash when needed. I’ll also follow your pet’s normal routine and any instructions you provide so they feel safe and comfortable while in my care.

“I could not be happier with Sam and the excellent care he provided for my dog, Walter! I needed to be out of town for the better part of a week, and having just moved to town, did not have any friends or family to watch after my large canine; Sam to the rescue! I had never used this service or this site before, so initially was a tad skeptical. After Sam's quick response, and then after meeting him in person, I knew Walter would be in good hands. I initially approached him requesting two walks per day, but due to his reasonable pricing, I suggested that I would be interested in adding a third walk every day. Even though I'm sure it was a bit out of the way, he accepted the extra work with alacrity. On top of all this, when I needed to put Walter on antibiotics last-minute, Sam was more than happy to administer the medicine. It was clear from the "Rover Cards" that Walter was getting great walks, and truly first-rate overall care. I would absolutely use Sam's service again, and would recommend him to anyone needing hassle-free, reliable care. I hope he is available if and when I need him again. Thanks Sam!”
“Lorena is super sweet, this was our first time ever using rover and we were super nervous about it. I️ loved that she scheduled a meet up prior so we got to meet her and she got to meet the dogs. She was great, she listened well and sent lots of photos of our happy dogs. Definitely will use her again!”

“Susan was a BLESSING for me and my dog when we needed a last minute check-in. She was so incredibly thorough and took great care to make sure she fit our routine and connected with Birdy. I recommend Susan to absolutely anyone who’s looking for competent care, a bubbly personality, and patience with an energetic and home-defending fuzz butt!!! We loved her!”

“Mel is fantastic with Molly and Buz. She’s very flexible with my crazy schedule and ready to help with visiting family’s pets ranging from an American Lab to a couple of Boston Terriers. She also kept my plants going when I was unexpectedly out of town.”
“Fantastic. Jahborne was timely, professional, patient, courteous and friendly. He handled two different adult, big breed dogs (a female pit and a male lab) effortlessly. No incidents, no miscommunication. Book him, both my dogs were happier upon return!”

I understand how important consistency and attention to detail are when caring for exotic pets. My experience also includes dogs and cats of many breeds, ages, sizes, and temperaments. I’m very comfortable with large and “bully” breeds, including Rottweilers and Pit Bulls, and have personally owned several. I also have experience with bottle babies, senior pets, and animals who require medications or additional attention. I can administer medications, provide nail trims, and assist with a variety of individual care needs. I understand that every animal has its own personality, boundaries, comfort level, and routine. I always take my cue from the individual animal rather than forcing interaction, allowing them to become comfortable with me at their own pace. Because I’m home during the day, I can offer flexible scheduling and may also be available for last-minute or emergency visits. Whether you have a dog, cat, reptile, bird, or a household full of different species, I want you to feel confident that your animals are being cared for by someone experienced, patient, dependable, and attentive. Their safety, comfort, and well-being always come first. I’d be happy to care for your pets and give them the same patience, attention, and consideration I would want for my own. I work from home, so I do have a lot of flexibility with my schedule. Just tell me what time you need, and I'll be there! I can care for animals in your home. Drop in visits and emergency visits are fine. Currently, I am not caring for animals in my home, but I am more than willing to drop by your house a few times a day!

Maggie does a fantastic job! She is incredibly attentive to my pitbull mix, Allie, always ensuring she stays cool on warm walks, practicing her training commands, and even pivoting to playtime if Allie isn't in the mood for a walk. Maggie is professional, punctual, hardworking, and remarkably easy to communicate with. I absolutely love receiving the photo updates after each walk. I highly recommend her services!

Catherine is a wonderful dog walker. She has a great rapport with my dogs and makes their health and safety her top priority. She communicates before, during, and after her walks with my dogs and sends fun photos. I highly recommend Catherine as a dog walker. Thanks for another great walk, Catherine. The dogs are happy and tired.

This was my first time using Rover and I was a little anxious about leaving my fur baby with someone, but Nakea eased my anxiety. She provided pictures upon pick up and drop off for walks, she was extremely communicative throughout the process and answered any questions I had. I highly recommend Nakea and will be using her for future walks!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
