I have a senior cat who doesn’t do well with other animals so I can’t provide care in my home, but I have extensive experience providing care in my client’s homes. I respect my client’s homes and privacy - I do not bring guests into their homes or go through their belongings. I will keep your dog on-leash during walks but am happy to play with your dog in your yard or approved dog park.

A typical day
I will take your dog on walks around the neighborhood. We’ll go at your pet’s pace, stopping to investigate every smell or walking briskly. If you like your dog to go to the dog park I’m happy to take them. We can also do trail walks, or throw a ball around.

I have over 20 years of experience watching family and friend’s pets. I do over-night stays in your house with your pets, and dog walking. I’ve worked with dogs, cats, fish, and even lizards. I’m able to give medications, and I’m very good with senior pets.

We have never used a sitter in our house before our dogs before but thought we should try it because one of our dogs get anxious going to other people's houses. Kathleen was such a great choice in a house/dog sitter. She was communicative, sent plenty of photos of the dogs, and overall went above and beyond in making sure they were well cared for while we were away for the weekend, including administering eyedrops to one of dogs who HATES getting them and walking a tough walker. We would 100% recommend Kathleen and will definitely be requesting her again for future house sits if she is available!

Kathleen is wonderful! She has helped us both with occasional dog walking and a 1 week home stay with our 2 dogs. She is communicative, reliable, and so easy to work with. While we were away on vacation recently, we had complete peace of mind knowing our dogs (and home) were in her care. She sent regular updates and clearly took the time to understand our dog’s needs—our dogs were happy and well cared for when we got home, and the house was spotless. Kathleen is warm, trustworthy, and truly goes above and beyond. Highly recommend!!!
