About: Hey! My name is Briana and I grew up with groomers and animal rescuers for parents. I was taught how to birth, wean, potty train, and care for many types of animals. I have worked in my parents grooming shop to help over the years and this included walking and bathing dogs. I have not only work experience and lived experience but also my passion for animals especially being a cat/dog mom myself. I have special experience with senior dogs and puppies, including wound care, medicine needs and dedicated time/attention. I can't wait to meet your furry loved one! I work Mon-Sat 7am-12pm at my fulltime job but am able to house sit and do drop ins around that schedule. I would be leaving around 6/630am and back around 12:30/1pm to handle any care needs. I am unable to host animals inside of my home due to my own cat not being a friendly guy. In my clients home I follow all rules set in place as well as keeping your furry loved one comfortable in their existing routines or whatever the client's expectations would be. I prefer taking written directions just so I have something I can always check back to ensure the most efficient care.

About: I’ve been a pet owner most of my life and have taken care of pets for friends, family, and neighbors. I am the one they always rely on to care for there’s pets and I hope to do the same for you. I’m currently looking for a job, so I will have lots of free time to care for your pets, and with flexible scheduling to what days you might need. Caring for pets at the client’s home I would make sure to ask where they keep the food, treats, toys for the pets, and cleaning supplies just in case if they make an accident by chance.

I work part-time from Saturday through Tuesday, but I'm completely free on my days off and on Monday mornings until 2:00 PM. About: I’ve have been taking care of dogs since I was 15 years old. My family members and neighbors have relied on me to walk and feed their dogs when they are away for a family emergency or on vacation. I enjoy being around pets and know that I am more than capable of taking care of your furry friend. I will make sure your friend will feel at home! I am also available to pick up and drop off if needed I currently work part-time from 12-5 on weekdays but aside from that I can be flexible during the week (but available anytime on weekends) and I am even available on holidays. Years of volunteering at animal shelters has given me real, hands-on confidence with all kinds of animals and temperaments, including the reactive and anxious ones who need a calm, patient hand. I'm comfortable administering medication, managing mobility limitations, special needs, and the kind of quirks that make pet parents nervous to leave instructions for a new sitter. I also have advanced training for working with dogs with behavior challenges, training protocols, dog and cat body language, and I am currently in the process of getting certified in pet first aid and CPR. No matter the animal, the basics stay the same: sticking to their routine, and sending updates and check-ins so you're never wondering how things are going. Your pet is in calm, capable hands. I work from home and am available for walks and drop-ins in the mornings and evenings, and midday as my schedule allows. I’m also available for house sitting. Have needs outside of this? Let’s talk! If the travel distance exceeds my daily service range, additional fees may apply. For walks and drop-ins, I keep things low-key: familiar environment, familiar routine, minimal disruption to their day. For house sitting, I stay in your home and keep your pet's routine exactly as you left it. I treat your space with the same care I'd want someone to treat mine. “Nia was wonderful with our 5 year rescue. Our dog can be a bit fearful and nervous around strangers. During the initial meet and greet, Nia spent over an hour building rapport and trust with our dog which was awesome. She tried a lot of different strategies and finally got her comfortable enough to go out for a walk, which was no mean feat. Nia was also very communicative - keeping us updated if she was running late. She provided detailed updates and photos on the daily Rover cards which kept us informed and comforted that our doggo was well taken care of while we were away.”

While I don’t currently have pets of my own, I regularly help care for my siblings’ dogs and my roommates cat! I currently have an internship on Monday and Tuesdays, so I’m available after 6pm on those days. The rest of the week, my schedule is very flexible and I’m available Wednesday through Sunday for walks, drop-in visits, and overnight care.
