Long Walks are Better With a Dog

Each morning, I wake up around 7:00am to walk my little nugget of a black lab mix, Arya. This is the best way to start the day, filled with a bajillion "good girls" as she uses the bathroom and waits before crossing the street. We usually walk to one of the many parks around our home, so she can chase squirrels or chill in the grass and chomp on sticks! We get home, eat some breakfast, and then she runs over and jumps on the couch to relax and nap for the next few hours. We usually go out for a quick afternoon potty break around 12/1pm. I work from home, so I’m available for walks throughout the day! Around 4pm, I walk Arya to the park to run around before again relaxing in the shade. We’re usually at the park for an hour or so and then walk home for dinner. This is pretty much our daily schedule and Arya is a super happy and friendly pup. Walking dogs is something that I truly enjoy, and I have a soft spot for senior dogs especially. I’m comfortable administering medications and adjusting the pace for whatever their bodies need that day. Slower walks, more sniff breaks, extra cuddles, whatever they need. I would absolutely love to go exploring with your dogs, no matter the age, while you are on vacation or business trips or even just at work, and of course I’ll make sure to bring plenty of treats!

Safety, trust & environment

I live in the city and have gotten really great at finding the little nooks and crannies of green space in South Baltimore. Whether we’re walking to Riverside Park, Swann Park, or West Covington Park, your pups will have tons of exercise time on their own.

Kaitlyn was great with our anxious border collie! She provided plenty of updates while keeping him active and happy while we were away! We are truly appreciative of someone being able to care for our pet as much as we would!

Kaitlyn went above and beyond for our dog Theo! He got sick when with her and she was a true life saver. 10/10 would recommend. She was super communicative the entire time we were away, sending updates and pictures throughout the week. Thank you, Kaitlyn!

Kaitlyn was great with our energetic husky, Ovi!! We loved the daily photo and video updates and Ovi loved playing with Arya! It was great to know Ovi was well taken care of while we were away. Ovi will definitely be looking forward to more sleepovers with Kaitlyn and Arya whenever we go out of town!

So caring and so thorough! I get nervous about my dog on other walks with people because he can be very energetic/needy. But I felt so comfortable with Kaitlyn. Thanks!

Kaitlyn is the best! She is so great to work with, good communicator before during and after visits. She is sweet and attentive to my 3 year old Dalmatian and 5 month old Dalmatian. She has been great managing the behaviors between both dogs and keeping up with feeding the puppy. I have gone through multiple dog walkers through rover and she is a keeper. I highly recommend.

Schedule

I currently work from home, about 6 hours a day with a flexible schedule, so I have plenty of time to spend with your pups! I’ve found that being outdoors with my dog Arya is when I feel my best and it’s favorite part of my day, and I would absolutely love to share that joy with your dogs. We usually walk/relax outside for about 30-60 minutes in the morning, quick potty break early afternoon, about 45-90 minutes in the evening, with one more tiny potty break before bedtime.
