“Tabitha was great with Riley.. I knew from the first meeting and Riley’s response to her she was a good choice. She took the time to care for her as well as play. She even added a day last minute which I really appreciated! I would definitely book with her again anytime I need a dogsitter.”

“Erica is absolutely wonderful, and takes such good care of my very needy girl! And her notes on the walks are hilarious. I've already recommended her to some friends.”

About: I’ve been around dogs my entire life and have always loved caring for them. I grew up with two dogs: a 12 year old Golden Doodle and a 4 year old Cavapoo, so I’m very familiar with both senior dogs and younger, energetic pups. While they are my family dogs and not currently living with me, I’ve been involved in their care my entire life, handling walks and daily responsibilities, especially when my parents were at work and I took on most of their care. I’m comfortable with walks, feedings, playtime, and making sure dogs feel safe, happy, and well cared for. I treat every dog like my own and enjoy getting to know their personalities! I work in the office Monday through Wednesday from 9:00–4:30, so my availability is a bit more limited during those days. However, I’m available during evenings on those days for walks or drop-ins. I work from home on Thursdays and Fridays, which allows me to be much more flexible throughout the day for pet care. Weekends can vary for me—I tend to be busy Friday evenings and Saturdays, but Sundays are generally open and a good day for me to provide care. I follow the owner’s instructions closely to ensure pets are comfortable and following their normal routine. During walks, I focus on safe leash handling and choosing routes based on each dog’s needs. For drop-in visits, I provide feeding, fresh water, potty breaks, and lots of play time of course. I always respect clients’ homes and my goal is to keep pets happy, cared for, and at ease while their owners are away.
About: *MY BOOKING IS FULLY CLOSED AT THIS TIME* Hey! My name is Briana and I grew up with groomers and animal rescuers for parents. I was taught how to birth, wean, potty train, and care for many types of animals. I have worked in my parents grooming shop to help over the years and this included walking and bathing dogs. I have not only work experience and lived experience but also my passion for animals especially being a cat/dog mom myself. I have special experience with senior dogs and puppies, including wound care, medicine needs and dedicated time/attention. I can't wait to meet your furry loved one! I work Mon-Sat 7am-12pm at my fulltime job but am able to house sit and do drop ins around that schedule. I would be leaving around 6/630am and back around 12:30/1pm to handle any care needs. I am unable to host animals inside of my home due to my own cat not being a friendly guy. In my clients home I follow all rules set in place as well as keeping your furry loved one comfortable in their existing routines or whatever the client's expectations would be. I prefer taking written directions just so I have something I can always check back to ensure the most efficient care.
About: I’ve been involved in animal rescue for more than 20 years and currently help with independent rescues and adoptions. I’m also a Certified Veterinary Assistant with extensive hands-on experience caring for a wide variety of animals. I’m an experienced reptile and exotic pet owner and understand that these animals often require very different care than traditional pets. I’m comfortable working with reptiles, turtles, birds, fish, and other exotic species, including following detailed feeding schedules, habitat and enclosure routines, temperature and lighting requirements, and species-specific care instructions. I understand how important consistency and attention to detail are when caring for exotic pets. My experience also includes dogs and cats of many breeds, ages, sizes, and temperaments. I’m very comfortable with large and “bully” breeds, including Rottweilers and Pit Bulls, and have personally owned several. I also have experience with bottle babies, senior pets, and animals who require medications or additional attention. I can administer medications, provide nail trims, and assist with a variety of individual care needs. I understand that every animal has its own personality, boundaries, comfort level, and routine. I always take my cue from the individual animal rather than forcing interaction, allowing them to become comfortable with me at their own pace. Because I’m home during the day, I can offer flexible scheduling and may also be available for last-minute or emergency visits. Whether you have a dog, cat, reptile, bird, or a household full of different species, I want you to feel confident that your animals are being cared for by someone experienced, patient, dependable, and attentive. Their safety, comfort, and well-being always come first. I’d be happy to care for your pets and give them the same patience, attention, and consideration I would want for my own. I work from home, so I do have a lot of flexibility with my schedule. Just tell me what time you need, and I'll be there! I can care for animals in your home. Drop in visits and emergency visits are fine. Currently, I am not caring for animals in my home, but I am more than willing to drop by your house a few times a day!
“Danika did great walking Spunky. She kept a brisk pace to keep my dog active but she also stopped to let Spunky sniff and smell things. Spunky is very happy and comfortable with Danika which isn’t always the case because my dog is a rescue pup. Danika arrived on time and is very professional, I will be using her services again in the future.”

“I could not be happier with Sam and the excellent care he provided for my dog, Walter! I needed to be out of town for the better part of a week, and having just moved to town, did not have any friends or family to watch after my large canine; Sam to the rescue! I had never used this service or this site before, so initially was a tad skeptical. After Sam's quick response, and then after meeting him in person, I knew Walter would be in good hands. I initially approached him requesting two walks per day, but due to his reasonable pricing, I suggested that I would be interested in adding a third walk every day. Even though I'm sure it was a bit out of the way, he accepted the extra work with alacrity. On top of all this, when I needed to put Walter on antibiotics last-minute, Sam was more than happy to administer the medicine. It was clear from the "Rover Cards" that Walter was getting great walks, and truly first-rate overall care. I would absolutely use Sam's service again, and would recommend him to anyone needing hassle-free, reliable care. I hope he is available if and when I need him again. Thanks Sam!”

About: I’ve been the primary caregiver of our family dog for over a decade (miss you Luna!). She was small but feisty and I have experience taking care of dogs of all sizes and ages for friends and family! I’m a grad student and have classes and my internship to attend to Monday through Thursday, but am free in the evenings those days, and all day on the weekends! I have a peaceful home downtown for pets to roam around in, and a small, fenced outdoor space and nearby park to walk around with them.
About: Hi, I’m Emily and I’m new here! I’ve been a dog lover my whole life. Growing up, my family always had dogs, and now as a young professional, I have one of my own, Maverick, a very spoiled German Shepherd/Great Pyrenees rescue! My passion for pets grew even more when my sister started her own pet services business, Kailey Walks Dogs, in Salisbury, MD. Whenever I have extra time, I head to the Eastern Shore to assist her and shadow her during appointments. It’s given me valuable, hands-on experience with dogs of all sizes and personalities. I’m comfortable working with pups of all temperaments. Having a reactive dog myself, I understand how overwhelming and sometimes isolating it can feel. I’ll always take the time to get to know you and your dog and work with whatever makes them feel safe and comfortable. I can’t wait to give your pet all the love, attention, and pets they deserve! Fun fact: I can say “Can I pet your dog?” in five different languages! Not sure I can think of anything better than spending my weekend around pets! Most of my weekends are wide open. Just shoot me a message and we can figure out a plan! I’m detail oriented and committed to following your dog’s routine and specific needs. I’m also very active, so if your pup loves a high-energy lifestyle, I can definitely keep up! On every walk, I come prepared with treats, water, and dog deterrent spray to ensure a safe and enjoyable experience.
“Jahborne was great with my sweet prince. Communication was excellent, I couldn’t have trusted anyone more with caring for him. He asked questions and answered my text almost immediately if I needed anything and I will definitely be booking again! Thanks a lot !!!!”

“Susan was a BLESSING for me and my dog when we needed a last minute check-in. She was so incredibly thorough and took great care to make sure she fit our routine and connected with Birdy. I recommend Susan to absolutely anyone who’s looking for competent care, a bubbly personality, and patience with an energetic and home-defending fuzz butt!!! We loved her!”

Christine was great with our dog, Ron!!! He bonded so well with her and she had him on his schedule everyday. Our dog needs a ton of attention and Christine was great for that. She cuddled Ron when he needed and played with him regularly! We take our dog out 3-4 times a day and Christine hit everything on the mark. Her communication with me was very quick and helpful. I highly recommend Christine for quick visits or long trips! She can work around most schedules and leaves you peace of mind for your pet. Thanks again Christine! Will definitely be reaching out again in the future!

Catherine is a wonderful dog walker. She has a great rapport with my dogs and makes their health and safety her top priority. She communicates before, during, and after her walks with my dogs and sends fun photos. I highly recommend Catherine as a dog walker. Thanks for another great walk, Catherine. The dogs are happy and tired.

This was my first time using Rover and I was a little anxious about leaving my fur baby with someone, but Nakea eased my anxiety. She provided pictures upon pick up and drop off for walks, she was extremely communicative throughout the process and answered any questions I had. I highly recommend Nakea and will be using her for future walks!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy.
