About: Seasoned pet owner and handler only 7 minutes from BWI airport! I’ve had dogs and cats ever since I was a child. I volunteered with a cat rescue for over ten years until I had children of my own. We then began to foster dogs as a family in 2019 and have fostered 29 homeless dogs of various sizes, breeds, and ages until adoption. There isn’t a lot we haven’t already encountered. We are often the first call in our neighborhood regarding any pet related questions, and neighbors, friends, and family have relied on us to walk, play with, love, feed, offer doggy daycare and overnight boarding, and administer meds to their pets for years. It just makes sense to open up our services to everyone while I am in between projects! We have bathed, groomed, and trained (potty trained and obedience trained) our own dogs as well as our fosters. Your pet will receive not just one set of loving hands, but a whole family should you choose us! With a five person, four pet household, your pet will never be bored or lacking love or attention. While your pet is in our care you will receive text and picture updates throughout their stay. We know your pet is a member of your family, so we strive to make them feel like a member of our family during their stay. We have a plethora of bones and balls and toys, so they will surely find some favorites during their pet vacation. I’m a self-employed Project Management Professional who is not taking any projects while my children are transitioning to new schools, so I am home all day outside of transporting them. I enjoy taking my pups (and yours, if they are up for it!) with me for car rides if we don’t need to go inside. I like to end car rides with a Starbucks pup cup or at least a treat. Thank you for considering me for the gentle, loving care of your pet while you are away. Regarding safety and our environment, we have a big, fenced-in backyard (a 6-foot privacy fence) where dogs can run and play. We also have two dogs and two dog-friendly, indoor-only cats of our own who have helped foster 29 homeless dogs over the three years before we began Rover. Our dogs like to play and will keep your fur baby company. We treat our furry guests like they are one of our own and they are welcome to sleep in our bed, lie on our couch, and/ or we can crate them to rest - whatever you prefer and they find most comfortable. We have a lot of love in our home to give to your pet. ❤️

About: I have had dogs my whole life and I have taken care of them for as long as I can remember. All through middle and highschool I was a pet and house sitter for many families with all types of pets (cats, dogs, and more!) currently I work from home and am a substitute teacher but I’m pretty available. Even if my times look like they might not work, still reach out and we can discuss ways to make it work. I am always available for drop ins before and after work and on weekends and most holidays. I live in an apartment so I will need a leash and/ or harness for your dog for walkies but I am able take them out frequently to get plenty of exercise. I have a pug who loves other dogs but if your pup is kind of a loner my dog can stay with his grandparents. The dogs are allowed on all furniture here and I will of course abide by any rules you have for your fur baby on eating or discipline. I prefer if there is a way to put them up while away especially if not fully house trained. I am also really good at training for tricks if interested. I have pet cameras to keep an eye on them anytime I’m away. Please reach out with any questions for any accommodations or concerns.

About: Hi there! My name is Christina. I have completed a course in Veterinary Assistance to begin my career in Veterinary Medicine. I've been dog sitting/training since i was about 10 years old when i was introduced to my moms American pitbull terrier who is now a senior dog. I’ve also been raising my own pup from 9 weeks old for almost 3 years now, so the stubborn puppies are no problem for me! I love play time and walks (if your dog is not quite leash trained, please mention this before the first day of arrival so i know how to prepare for walks) My dog, Honey is enrolled in professional K9 training which I put a lot of personal time into. If you book a service and also have questions or are interested in basic training like leash manners, basic commands like sit, come, heel, place, etc. feel free to ask! *I am not a certified trainer. Although, I do have the knowledge and experience to help when pro training is not in the budget.* I am usually available but I do have a hectic "pop up" life. I will NOT offer a service at a time I cannot provide. Unfortunately i can not offer boarding at my home yet, I am in the process of building a fence, so I will add the service when the yard is ready. For now,i will keep your pets company in the comfort of their own home. Please mention the yard conditions (fence or no fence) and any rules/regulations already set in the home to follow in order to avoid confusion with your pet. I want you and your pets to feel as comfortable and safe as possible!

About: I used to work as a pharmacy tech and veterinary assistant in an animal hospital. Lover of all animals I even have some of my own that I wouldn’t trade for the world. I work weekend shifts so I’m available to show our special furry friend lots of attention all week! I love to take morning walks so a pup or two by my side would make it even better! I pay close and special attention to all pets! I tend to keep them in eyesight, Can easily crate pet if needed. And have access to medical care for pets

About: I have taken care of animals since I was a little girl, having cats since a toddler. When my sister got her first dog, I watched after her a lot since I was studying from home and she was a puppy who we knew needed more often potty breaks and care. When she got her next 2 puppies, I also watched after them while they were little ones. I have cared for dogs who take medication and dogs who need a little more TLC. Ultimately, I have experience with dogs and cats and love both so much. My best friend is a vet and her husband an emergency vet (sadly they're in Georgia), but its comforting knowing I have them in my pocket for any emergencies. I currently work M-F but am off on the weekends. I have finished my board exams and awaiting the beginning of residency, so I am looking for something to do on the weekends I enjoy, and what better way to do that than caring for adorable animals! I care for animals in their own home. I’m very respectful of other’s belongings and find that animals tend to do better when they are in their normal surroundings.
