Tabitha's walks saved my pup from turning morose & depressed while I'm recovering from an injury. Haiku is cheerily anticipating her arrival as something to look forward to ... I especially appreciate her conscientiousness, concerns & flexibility during the current heat-wave, not to exhaust & stress the dog's welfare. Thanks, I'm truly grateful for this match :-)

About: I’ve been around dogs and cats my whole life and genuinely enjoy spending time with animals. Friends, family, and neighbors have trusted me to walk, feed, play with, and care for their pets while they’re away. I understand that every pet has a unique personality and routine, and I take the time to make them feel safe, comfortable, and loved. Whether your dog needs an energetic walk, extra playtime, or a little patience and encouragement, I’m happy to provide attentive care and regular updates so you can have peace of mind. My schedule is flexible, which allows me to dedicate quality time to pet care throughout the week. I can accommodate walks, drop-in visits, feeding schedules, playtime, and bathroom breaks while making sure each pet receives the attention and care they need. I’m committed to being reliable, punctual, and communicative so pet parents always know their furry family member is in good hands. Your pet’s safety and comfort are my top priorities. I carefully follow all instructions regarding feeding, medications, routines, and walking preferences. During walks, I remain attentive to my surroundings and keep pets securely leashed unless otherwise instructed in a safe, enclosed area. In your home, I will respect your space, maintain your pet’s routine, and provide regular updates with photos so you can feel confident your pet is receiving excellent care while you’re away.

About: Hey! My name is Briana and I grew up with groomers and animal rescuers for parents. I was taught how to birth, wean, potty train, and care for many types of animals. I have worked in my parents grooming shop to help over the years and this included walking and bathing dogs. I have not only work experience and lived experience but also my passion for animals especially being a cat/dog mom myself. I have special experience with senior dogs and puppies, including wound care, medicine needs and dedicated time/attention. I can't wait to meet your furry loved one! I work Mon-Sat 7am-12pm at my fulltime job but am able to house sit and do drop ins around that schedule. I would be leaving around 6/630am and back around 12:30/1pm to handle any care needs. I am unable to host animals inside of my home due to my own cat not being a friendly guy. In my clients home I follow all rules set in place as well as keeping your furry loved one comfortable in their existing routines or whatever the client's expectations would be. I prefer taking written directions just so I have something I can always check back to ensure the most efficient care.

I change pee pads/litter boxes, play with, and feed the animals when needed during the morning, day, and evening. I’m available during the weekdays and weekends during the morning, afternoon, and evening for check ins and walks so I’ll be able to care for your fur babies as needed! About: 🐕 About Me Hi! I’m a dedicated pet caregiver with over 10 years of experience in military contract service, now balancing life as a law student and dog lover here in Maryland. I specialize in structured, loving care for busy families who want more than just a quick walk or check-in. Think of me as your pet’s second home—where routines are respected, details are never missed, and your dog is treated with patience, affection, and intention. As a mom-minded caregiver, I naturally tune into behavior, energy, and comfort. Whether your pup is playful and high-energy or needs a calmer, more reassuring presence, I adjust to them. Pet care is my morning noon and night , if not my big guys , then most definitely someone’s needs a walk or rub. This is my passion, your buddies have my undivided attention I have two fenced areas available for running and play, as well as our location provides to dog parks within close range. A Normal day we attend the dog park twice, morning and night, followed by a mid-day walk and lots of lazy couch snuggles. Our home is a place to come sit stay and play for a while🐾♥️ 🧐should you stay a while? We do have two kennels for sleep if your buddies are down with sharing . Couch is first come first served, all paws welcome..

About: Hello, my name is Faith! I have raised animals of all kinds, starting with live wolves that my family raised as dogs when i was growing up. Since then, I have raised cats, dogs, rabbits, reptiles, you name it! I moved here in November of 2023 because of the Coast Guard. I have a 2 bedroom, and no kiddos. I have 2 dogs and 1 cat of our own who have their own room. They’re very friendly with humans and animals. My dogs are crate trained and can be separated from any animals we are caring for, if necessary! I have a huge heart for animals and would love to meet your fur babies! My prices are negotiable, so reach out to me and we’ll go from there! I would love to spend my time doing what I love, which is caring for animals! I am home all throughout the week and am very flexible. I especially have weekends open. Message me for more details on my availability! Both of my dogs are trained. I’ve learned about certain behaviors, body language, and basic obedience. My 2-bedroom condo is clean, quiet, and the perfect area for fur babies! My dogs and cat have their own room, and my dogs are crate trained so if necessary, I can keep them separated from any other fur friend we bring into our home! Message me for more details on my pet care and safety.

Nia was wonderful with our 5 year rescue. Our dog can be a bit fearful and nervous around strangers. During the initial meet and greet, Nia spent over an hour building rapport and trust with our dog which was awesome. She tried a lot of different strategies and finally got her comfortable enough to go out for a walk, which was no mean feat. Nia was also very communicative - keeping us updated if she was running late. She provided detailed updates and photos on the daily Rover cards which kept us informed and comforted that our doggo was well taken care of while we were away.

About: I have over 6 years experience caring for dogs and cats of different sizes, ages, and temperaments. I’ve helped friends, family, and neighbors with walking, feeding, playtime, and overnight care. I’m very attentive to each pet’s routine and personality, whether that means extra walks, extra cuddle time, or a calm and patient approach with shy pets. I treat every pet like my own and always prioritize their safety, comfort, and happiness. I’m also reliable, communicative, and happy to send updates and photos so you feel at ease while you’re away. I'm currently staying at home, so I have very flexible dates and times for walks, also for overnight care of either short or long term. If the pet care is in my house, I have a fenced in backyard with lots of space to run around and sunbathe, and also a all weather sunroom, so even on rainy days everyone can get a little peak of the backyard and do some birdwatching! No kids or pets, two adults. If the care is in your home, I'm comfortable with indoors or outdoors playing and also walks. Just show me around, give me instructions and I will be happy to follow them!

  • 97% can help with daily exercise

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.

If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
