“Sean is very kind, detail oriented and communicative. He went above and beyond to try and tailor the visits and walks to my pup’s specific needs. Looking forward to working with him again!”

“I needed a last minute sitter and Tabitha came to the rescue. At first meeting her and Scout were fast friends. She did such a great job taking care of him. You can tell she truly takes pride and cares about the furry friends in her care. Thank you Tabitha! I appreciate you and would highly recommend!”

“Menkaure was very kind, respectful, and punctual. He has a very calming personality that jives well with my rambunctious dogs. He took my two large Huskies for 4 walks in the past week and he did an amazing job. He followed all instructions and the dogs loved him.”

“Susan was a BLESSING for me and my dog when we needed a last minute check-in. She was so incredibly thorough and took great care to make sure she fit our routine and connected with Birdy. I recommend Susan to absolutely anyone who’s looking for competent care, a bubbly personality, and patience with an energetic and home-defending fuzz butt!!! We loved her!”

About: Whether your cat is an energetic kitten who needs active playtime, a senior requiring precise medication, or a shy kitty who just wants a quiet human presence, I've got you covered! I've had cats my entire life and have been cat-sitting for friends and family for years. Cats absolutely fascinate me and I love being around them! I am currently in college, so cat-care fits in very well with my routine. I can easily fit in morning, midday, or evening drop-in visits without rushing. If I am house-sitting, I structure my day around your pet's needs. I ensure I am present for their preferred feeding windows, high-energy playtimes, and medication schedules. You can rest easy knowing that your cat's daily rhythm will not be disrupted while you are away. When caring for cats in your home, safety and respect are my highest priorities. I treat your property with absolute care and maintain your cat's exact environment, keeping food bowls clean, water fountains filled, and litter boxes taken care of.

“Natasha is the best! She was very thorough and stayed in constant communication with me. She treated Bentley with love and care. His walks were documented and I loved the pictures she sent. Will definitely recommend without reservation. Can’t wait to rebook with her again soon.”

“Mel is fantastic with Molly and Buz. She’s very flexible with my crazy schedule and ready to help with visiting family’s pets ranging from an American Lab to a couple of Boston Terriers. She also kept my plants going when I was unexpectedly out of town.”

If you have any questions, please ask ! Edit as of July 2026: Lucky to have spent 13 years (15yo) with my sweet baby Sookie...RIP my baby. Our home now is myself and my cat Carmen. She is friendly with dogs. As a pet owner I am already accustomed to sticking to a routine with feeding, care, and play. I currently have open availability and will be able to navigate and uphold whatever schedule agreed upon to care for your furry companion. About: I love going on long walks and love having a fur covered, tail wagging friend join me on those little adventures. I am fairly flexible with being able to do lunchtime walks during weekdays as well. We all know how important it is for our four legged friends (and us) to stretch their legs! If you're going away and your dog like hikes or trail adventures to get their zoomies out, I am happy to take them on those adventures as well. I currently go on camping and hiking trips with a larger sized dog, hang out regularly with a big German Shepard, and grew up loving and caring for small dogs like Westies. From the tiny guard dogs to the the large cuddle bugs we all adore, I am comfortable with a range of dog sizes and energy levels. I can't wait to meet yours! I am currently working full time, but remotely Wednesday through Friday and can take care of your pet around lunchtime as my daily schedule is flexible. If not lunch time, I am off work at 4pm m-f and can care for your pet at 4pm or after. On weekends I am usually around and can work your pet care schedule around my own. I can usually be flexible with walking your dogs throughout the day. I am also capable of taking them on long walks if needed. I can follow whichever precise directions you need me to follow and if you are training your pet can do my best to follow those training tips you have been working so hard to enforce.
“Fantastic. Jahborne was timely, professional, patient, courteous and friendly. He handled two different adult, big breed dogs (a female pit and a male lab) effortlessly. No incidents, no miscommunication. Book him, both my dogs were happier upon return!”

About: I've house sat my sisters 100 pounds saint bernard before for a couple days. My family had a black lab that lived to be 14 and I helped take care of him and we have a 4 year old German shepherd who we have had since he was a puppy. I am currently unemployed so I am available anytime during the week from Monday to Thursday to walk or watch your dog or dogs and I am always vigilant when watching pets. I have a small fenced in yard and I take my dog for a walk everyday at noon and I am always vigilant and make sure that dogs don't get into anything
About: I may be newer to caring for dogs but I’ve been a cat owner for almost a year and understand how important patience, routine, and attentiveness are when caring for pets. I’m always willing to learn and I take pet care very seriously! I’m currently a college student and my classes are MWF so I’m able to pet sit any of the other days except for Sunday 12-4 because of Church. I have one cat right now and I take care of him by making sure he always has food and that his litter box is scooped.
“J is awesome! We're so happy we found her! She is super friendly and dependable and also patient (as i had a few regrettable spare key situations. She is also has super warm and good energy! Thanks for taking such good care of Ripley! ”

Maggie does a fantastic job! She is incredibly attentive to my pitbull mix, Allie, always ensuring she stays cool on warm walks, practicing her training commands, and even pivoting to playtime if Allie isn't in the mood for a walk. Maggie is professional, punctual, hardworking, and remarkably easy to communicate with. I absolutely love receiving the photo updates after each walk. I highly recommend her services!

Jahborne was great with my sweet prince. Communication was excellent, I couldn’t have trusted anyone more with caring for him. He asked questions and answered my text almost immediately if I needed anything and I will definitely be booking again! Thanks a lot !!!!

Katherine is incredibly sweet, kind, and dependable. She was able to meet my dog and take her for a walk on very short notice, which I greatly appreciated. She arrived on time, asked thoughtful questions about my dog’s care, and carefully followed all instructions. It’s clear that she genuinely cares about the pets she works with. We are very happy to have her as our regular sitter and highly recommend her!

Catherine is a wonderful dog walker. She has a great rapport with my dogs and makes their health and safety her top priority. She communicates before, during, and after her walks with my dogs and sends fun photos. I highly recommend Catherine as a dog walker. Thanks for another great walk, Catherine. The dogs are happy and tired.

Kaitlin arrived on time, took our dog out in this frosty weather and managed to get Bentley moving despite the snow and ice. She is very friendly, responsible and conscientious- I felt comfortable when I first met her and I’m very happy with the quality of her work.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
