“This was my first time using Rover.com. I was uncertain about it at first but Mel was amazing and gave me comfort knowing my fur babies were being cared for while I was away. I plan to hire Mel again in a couple of months for my next trip. Highly recommend Mel and Rover.com. Thanks, Mel!”

“Odessa took excellent care of our dog! She was responsive and attentive, sending us pictures and updates throughout our time away. We were very pleased, and will definitely be using her again! Highly recommend!”

“Sara was AMAZING with our puppy, Cooper! She made sure he didn’t eat anything on his walks because that’s been a big issue with him. She always made sure he was taken care of and administered his medicine since he recently was discharged from the animal hospital. We can’t wait to use Sara again!”

“This was my first time using Rover so I was a bit hesitant but Carolyn B. made me feel secure with my animals under her care. She was prompt, thorough and conscientious for all of the visits while I was away. She stayed in communication with me and responded promptly to any of my questions. I recommend Carolyn and would use her again!”

About: I've house sat my sisters 100 pounds saint bernard before for a couple days. My family had a black lab that lived to be 14 and I helped take care of him and we have a 4 year old German shepherd who we have had since he was a puppy. I am currently unemployed so I am available anytime during the week from Monday to Thursday to walk or watch your dog or dogs and I am always vigilant when watching pets. I have a small fenced in yard and I take my dog for a walk everyday at noon and I am always vigilant and make sure that dogs don't get into anything

“Here’s another option with a slightly different tone: Emma did a wonderful job taking care of my pet. Communication was quick and consistent, and she was always very responsive whenever I had a question or update. I felt confident leaving my pet in her care and appreciated the updates while I was away. I would absolutely book with her again and recommend her to others!!!”

“Esther cared for and played with Opal and made sure she had food, water and a clean litter. She sent lots of pictures and provided a detailed report card. She is trustworthy, a great communicator and cat sitter!”

About: I love going on long walks and love having a fur covered, tail wagging friend join me on those little adventures. I am fairly flexible with being able to do lunchtime walks during weekdays as well. We all know how important it is for our four legged friends (and us) to stretch their legs! If you're going away and your dog like hikes or trail adventures to get their zoomies out, I am happy to take them on those adventures as well. I currently go on camping and hiking trips with a larger sized dog, hang out regularly with a big German Shepard, and grew up loving and caring for small dogs like Westies. From the tiny guard dogs to the the large cuddle bugs we all adore, I am comfortable with a range of dog sizes and energy levels. I can't wait to meet yours! I am currently working full time, but remotely Wednesday through Friday and can take care of your pet around lunchtime as my daily schedule is flexible. If not lunch time, I am off work at 4pm m-f and can care for your pet at 4pm or after. On weekends I am usually around and can work your pet care schedule around my own. I can usually be flexible with walking your dogs throughout the day. I am also capable of taking them on long walks if needed. I can follow whichever precise directions you need me to follow and if you are training your pet can do my best to follow those training tips you have been working so hard to enforce.
“Lingli took wonderful care of my cat, even coming over during the snow when it was safe to do so. She was so communicative and flexible to make sure my cat was taken care of, which was a huge relief for me being away and not able to help!”

About: I have taken care of two smaller dogs the past 3 years and have learned the hard work that comes with them. I have also volunteered at BARCS for dog days out. I am comfortable with leash trained dogs and understand feeding schedules, potty breaks, and playtime. Hello! I am currently a college student working a part-time internship and taking a summer class! I am often available on weekends and monday, wednesday, and friday nights. I know how to crate dogs if needed and have reliable transportation to an emergency vet if needed. I have grown up around cats and dogs all my life so I understand the importance of keeping your pet safe.
About: I’ve been taking care of animals for over 10 years. I have grown up with both cats and dogs, and I currently have a 3 year old cat of my own. I also volunteer with BARCS for their dogs day out program, so I have a lot of experience with big dogs. I currently work full time in logistics, and I work from home 3 days a week. I have free time throughout the day on my remote days and on the weekends as well. I always like to take care of animals as if they are my own. Your animals will always be safe and secure and I always go the extra mile to make sure they are as comfortable and safe as possible.
“Caroline came in at the last minute and saved the day for a week-long trip for us. When we met, it was clear she had a ton of experience and she was so patient with our high-energy pitties, who absolutely loved seeing her every day! You cannot miss if you book Caroline, she's passionate, communicative, flexible, and the dogs love her.”

“Kaitlin did a phenomenal job with our furry ones. Great communication, did everything the way asked and even did little things to make sure we knew everything was being taken care of. From the check in photos to seeing how our doggos were treating her we knew she was taking wonderful care of them. 100% recommended and will definitely come back to her the next time we might need anything.”

Mel was absolutely amazing! She was perfect for my crazy zoo! She communicated with me daily, so I always knew what my crew was up to! I had no worries while I was away, because I knew my animals were in good hands! I am absolutely going to rebook her in the future!

Thank you so much for taking such great care of our dog while we were out of town! We really appreciated the updates and the love you showed him. It gave us so much peace of mind knowing he was in such good hands. We would definitely trust you again and highly recommend you!

Kudos to Ryan for coming to our house for a meet and greet with our dog ahead of time. Quinn was very comfortable with Ryan. Ryan was punctual for both the meet and greet and on the day he let Quinn out for 30 min. From the pictures Ryan took, it appeared Quinn had a great time with him. Thank you Ryan!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
While Rover doesn’t offer traditional subscription services, some sitters offer recurring bookings for services like home visits and dog walking. Recurring services come with their own perks, such as flexibility to modify services (up to five weeks in advance), automatic billing, Rover Card updates, and same-day cancellations.
To find sitters in Catonsville with recurring or weekly availability, select "Repeat Weekly" and which days you’d like them to care for your pet.
