“Truly outstanding experience. The level of care Annali provided our pets and detail they provided us was exquisite. We will definitely be requesting their services in the future. Huge thank you!!”

“Kiera did an amazing job as always watching our dog and cat! Great at communicating, and the pets love her. We had piece of mind knowing they were well taken care of while we were out of town.”

“Sophie has taken wonderful care of my two cats, including one senior and one very shy cat. She’s careful, curious, and very observant. Looking forward to booking her again!”

About: I've house sat my sisters 100 pounds saint bernard before for a couple days. My family had a black lab that lived to be 14 and I helped take care of him and we have a 4 year old German shepherd who we have had since he was a puppy. I am currently unemployed so I am available anytime during the week from Monday to Thursday to walk or watch your dog or dogs and I am always vigilant when watching pets. I have a small fenced in yard and I take my dog for a walk everyday at noon and I am always vigilant and make sure that dogs don't get into anything

About: Whether your cat is an energetic kitten who needs active playtime, a senior requiring precise medication, or a shy kitty who just wants a quiet human presence, I've got you covered! I've had cats my entire life and have been cat-sitting for friends and family for years. Cats absolutely fascinate me and I love being around them! I am currently in college, so cat-care fits in very well with my routine. I can easily fit in morning, midday, or evening drop-in visits without rushing. If I am house-sitting, I structure my day around your pet's needs. I ensure I am present for their preferred feeding windows, high-energy playtimes, and medication schedules. You can rest easy knowing that your cat's daily rhythm will not be disrupted while you are away. When caring for cats in your home, safety and respect are my highest priorities. I treat your property with absolute care and maintain your cat's exact environment, keeping food bowls clean, water fountains filled, and litter boxes taken care of.
“Came home to happy pups, not frantic or nervous. Brent obviously followed my instruction/requests to the letter. Note that one of my dogs was only 3 mos. old and needed specific on time breaks and play. Would feel absolutely confident having Brent back again!”

About: I've taken care of animals of every kind my whole life. My connection with animals was always so clear that it was the topic of a childhood nickname. Friends, family, and colleagues often trust me to support any pet care needs they have with playing, feeding, cleaning, hygiene, and medical needs. I have a very flexible work schedule and can often do work remotely. I have a tiny home on wheels for hosting on a limited basis - or lightening my pet-sitting presence in a home if I am parked nearby. Either way, I'm happy to make time for your pets' needs! I have general availability every day of the week, but still need to check specific date ranges due to my travel and work schedule. In my own home, I have very limited space so would only be able to host a very forgiving cat or low energy dog. In your home, I respect your rules and environment. If I don't know something and can't reasonably figure it out, I will always ask and go to you for further instruction. Any space I'm in, I try to leave better than I found.
“Carolyn B. is very dependable and thorough. She sent me pictures and communicated very well with me. This is my first time using Rover and I will request her in the future. She did extra little things while I was away and as time went on I felt very confident with her coming into my home and taking care of my fur babies.”

About: My family and friends have entrusted me to take care of their pets many times these last few years. The last 3 summers I have been lucky enough to do long-term stays with my friend's 4 dogs and cat to help build my experience with pets. Additionally, my family has 2 Rhodesian Ridgebacks of our own, so I am no stranger to larger dogs! I am a student at UMBC, but I am looking forward to utilizing some of my free time towards walking and house visits for pets! I am taking 4 classes this semester along with still ha ing some commitments at home. I am totally open to talking about availability and what works best for your pets! I will treat your pets as if they were my own and make them as comfortable as possible while you are away. I know it can be a stressful time for them while your gone, so I hope to be a calming presence where they can relax and have fun!
About: I’ve been taking care of animals for over 10 years. I have grown up with both cats and dogs, and I currently have a 3 year old cat of my own. I also volunteer with BARCS for their dogs day out program, so I have a lot of experience with big dogs. I currently work full time in logistics, and I work from home 3 days a week. I have free time throughout the day on my remote days and on the weekends as well. I always like to take care of animals as if they are my own. Your animals will always be safe and secure and I always go the extra mile to make sure they are as comfortable and safe as possible.

About: I have taken care of two smaller dogs the past 3 years and have learned the hard work that comes with them. I have also volunteered at BARCS for dog days out. I am comfortable with leash trained dogs and understand feeding schedules, potty breaks, and playtime. Hello! I am currently a college student working a part-time internship and taking a summer class! I am often available on weekends and monday, wednesday, and friday nights. I know how to crate dogs if needed and have reliable transportation to an emergency vet if needed. I have grown up around cats and dogs all my life so I understand the importance of keeping your pet safe.
“My cats love Lingli! Whether she's pet sitting or doing drop-in feedings, booking her always makes me feel better abput being away from my fur babies. She's very communicative, patient, and sends tons of photos”

“Casie bonded quickly with my fur baby. She normally takes some days to warm up to new people. I appreciated the regular, clear communication and photos. Casie also offered to pick up additional food for my pet when she ran out of one of her favorites. I was concerned about leaving her but it was clear Casie was taking time to play with her and connect. She seemed much more normal when I returned home this time than on most trips; kitty can be distant for awhile before letting me pet her.”

About: I have been around all kinds of animals for my whole life! I love dogs, cats, and beyond! I have experience in dog sitting and cat sitting while also currently being a lead animal care specialist at a non profit organization. My responsibilities include feeding, caring, bathing, cleaning enclosures, and administering medicine to all critters! I will take care of your fur baby as if they were my own! I am finished with my work day early most wednesday and thursday’s and am off on Friday’s for the most part. I am available most weekends too. I will always put the pet first. I will make sure they are comfortable and not scared or on edge. We will go at their pace for trust and respect their boundaries. For dogs, I will always make sure their bathroom needs and outdoor/indoor playtime met. For cats, I will play, pet, or simply be with them for as long as they need!
“Krystal was amazing with my little furbaby. He is a skittish one but Krystal was so good to him he warmed up to her easily. I loved all the adorable pictures and updates she sent to keep me from worrying about him. Krystal was just the best! Thank you!”

I was overjoyed to find Helen because my reactive dog has done really well her. Helen has a calm demeanor that my dogs enjoy. She understands how to behave around dogs so that they behave. Helen is also very responsive to messages. Her messages are clear and well constructed.

Mel was absolutely amazing! She was perfect for my crazy zoo! She communicated with me daily, so I always knew what my crew was up to! I had no worries while I was away, because I knew my animals were in good hands! I am absolutely going to rebook her in the future!

Thank you so much for taking such great care of our dog while we were out of town! We really appreciated the updates and the love you showed him. It gave us so much peace of mind knowing he was in such good hands. We would definitely trust you again and highly recommend you!

Kudos to Ryan for coming to our house for a meet and greet with our dog ahead of time. Quinn was very comfortable with Ryan. Ryan was punctual for both the meet and greet and on the day he let Quinn out for 30 min. From the pictures Ryan took, it appeared Quinn had a great time with him. Thank you Ryan!

Caroline came in at the last minute and saved the day for a week-long trip for us. When we met, it was clear she had a ton of experience and she was so patient with our high-energy pitties, who absolutely loved seeing her every day! You cannot miss if you book Caroline, she's passionate, communicative, flexible, and the dogs love her.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
While Rover doesn’t offer traditional subscription services, some sitters offer recurring bookings for services like home visits and dog walking. Recurring services come with their own perks, such as flexibility to modify services (up to five weeks in advance), automatic billing, Rover Card updates, and same-day cancellations.
