About: Throughout my life, I have cared for goats, cats (old and young), dogs (big and small), chickens, rabbits, and different kinds of rodents. I love all animals and treat other people's pets as if they were my own. I am experienced in administering oral medications, working with difficult walkers, and caring for anxious animals. I have one cat and one dog right now! I currently work remotely, so I am able to design my schedule around your pets' needs. I believe that pets thrive with a consistent schedule and will do my best to stick to your pets' schedule. All pets have social needs and activity needs. As a dog sitter, I will not just take your dog out for potty walks, but we will also go for sniff adventures, play fetch, and more. As a cat sitter, I provide as much attention as your cat is interested in. We can sit on the couch and cuddle or admire each other from a distance.

About: I’ve taken care of dogs since I was 5 years of age and have grown up with various pets. I am super interactive with pets and enjoy entertaining them as well as building a strong bond with them! I am open five days a week Monday-Friday! I am flexible since I do have pretty open availability and communicative. I am also open to any suggestions from owners I have a fenced yard but I do not currently own any pets of my own. I ensure the environment I live in is nothing but safe, quiet and comforting for all

Bob and his son Bobby were the best! Completely reliable and capable. My dog, that I have trouble managing, was easily handled them. I am very impressed with the quality of this service and they are first on my list for the next time.

Kaitlin arrived on time, took our dog out in this frosty weather and managed to get Bentley moving despite the snow and ice. She is very friendly, responsible and conscientious- I felt comfortable when I first met her and I’m very happy with the quality of her work.

About: I’ve been around and caring for dogs my entire life, so being attentive to their needs comes naturally to me. I also regularly care for pets belonging to close relatives, which has given me hands-on experience with different personalities, routines, and care styles. I’m patient, reliable, and genuinely enjoy building trust with each dog I watch. Whether it’s keeping up with an energetic pup or providing gentle, consistent care, I make sure every dog feels safe, comfortable, and loved while you’re away. Pet care fits easily into my weekly routine, especially on the days I’ve dedicated to it—Friday, Saturday, Sunday, and Tuesday. On those days, I make sure I have the time and flexibility to give pets my full attention, including walks, feeding, playtime, and regular check-ins. I provide care in my client’s home to help pets stay comfortable in their familiar environment and maintain their normal routine. For dog sitting, I follow all instructions closely—feeding schedules, walks, playtime, medications if needed, and any specific preferences your dog has. I make sure they get plenty of attention, affection, and consistency so they feel safe while you’re away.

I recommend Susan to absolutely anyone who’s looking for competent care, a bubbly personality, and patience with an energetic and home-defending fuzz butt!!! We loved her!

About: Hi, I’m Olivia! With a background in behavioral work and trauma-informed care, I bring a uniquely calming, intuitive presence to the animals I support. I’ve spent years caring for pets in my personal life and community—everything from energetic puppies to gentle seniors—always with patience, respect, and a deep understanding of their emotional world. As a Registered Behavior Technician and Somatic Trauma-Informed Practitioner for both people and animals, I’m attuned to body language, stress signals, and what helps animals feel safe. I specialize in: -Structure, positive reinforcement, routine-building -Senior support (slow walks, mobility assistance, medication reminders, extra gentleness) -Anxious or shy pets who benefit from a calm, regulated, grounded human -Consistent routines that help pets feel secure when their humans are away My care style is warm, grounded, and attentive. I take the time to understand each animal’s personality, needs, and comfort level. Your pet will get affection, enrichment, mindful walks, and a nurturing presence, not just supervision. I’d love to care for your furry family member as if they were my own. I’m currently working part-time, which gives me plenty of flexibility to accommodate drop-ins, feeding schedules, and quality time with your pets. I’m available on weekends as well, and I genuinely enjoy building my days around caring for animals. Whether it’s morning check-ins, afternoon playtime, or evening wind-down visits, I can easily adjust my schedule to meet your cat’s needs and keep their routine consistent and comforting. When caring for pets, my top priority is creating a safe, comfortable, and predictable environment where they feel secure and loved. Whether in their home or mine, I take the time to learn each pet’s personality, routines, and preferences so that care is tailored to their individual needs. My home is a two-level row home with a park nearby and lots of greenery, where they are free to roam. I ensure food and water are fresh, spaces are clean, and doors or gates are secure at all times. I’m attentive to subtle changes in behavior—energy levels, eating habits, or signs of stress—and will communicate promptly with the owner if anything seems off. Above all, I treat every pet like a beloved family member, and I keep owners updated with notes and photos so they feel confident and at ease while away.

About: I specialize in caring for large breeds, leveraging years of experience raising and training Rottweilers. I understand the unique needs of big dogs, from maintaining consistent training to managing their energy levels. Note: I have my own crated pets who will be present. Pet care is part of my everyday life. I work from home so I have a lot of flexibility! My own Rottweilers are on a consistent schedule, so it’s natural for me to fold guest pets right into that routine. Each day includes morning walks, feeding, supervised play, and crate rotations for safety, along with plenty of affection and downtime. I make safety, trust, and comfort the focus of every stay. In my home, pets enjoy a secure, spacious environment with constant supervision, plenty of enrichment, and clean, cozy areas for rest and play. Whether calm and quiet or high energy and active, your pet will be safe and secure with me!

About: I’ve been caring for my dogs for about 9 years now, and they truly are my babies!! I currently have a Siberian Husky and a German Shepherd, and we recently added a Golden Retriever to the family. I’m very used to high energy dogs, lots of playtime, long walks, mental enrichment, and cuddles :) Whether your dog is super playful, shy, or just wants extra TLC, I’ll always treat them like one of my own. I recently graduated with my bachelor's degree and am currently in the process of applying for jobs! That means I have a very flexible schedule and typically available whenever you need care. I’m happy to work around your schedule and make things as easy as possible. Your pup's safety and comfort are always my number one priority. I make sure to follow your instructions exactly, whether that’s feeding routines, walks, meds, or small things that help your dog feel at ease. I’m very mindful during walks and outdoor time, always keeping dogs securely leashed and being 100% aware of our surroundings. When I’m in your home, I respect it like it’s my own space. I keep everything clean, double check doors and gates, and make sure your pup is safe before I ever step out.

After I knew the Rover from another dog owner, I haven’t used. Our very senior Lab (16 years old) recently became very weak, in walking etc, unable to leave a pet hotel as we did just half years ago. During my family away, I needed to find somebody to come to my house, taking care of her, very gentle, using towel to leave to lawn etc. While working, she sent me how her walk with Jasmine attaching photos and message. I really appreciate Victoria in very nicely taking of our family dog with affection (I could feel this from her gentle messages, even though I haven’t met her at all. My wife met her for the first time then went to travel, but I didn’t cause I’m working when she comes.). This is the first time to use Rover, and not sure about other dog walker at all. Anyway, I’m satisfied the system of Rover very efficient to find a dog walke and could fine Victoria, and was very happy to have Victoria for the first time experience.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
