“Benny has been to Rodney’s house twice- once for doggy day care and once for boarding. He had a blast there and had tons of fun romping around with Rodney’s pups. Rodney accommodated a slightly different pickup due to ice and snow, which I greatly appreciated. Rodney also didn’t have a problem wiping off Benny’s paws (he had an allergic reaction to some treats right before he went), and his paws looked better when we picked him up. At other boarding facilities when this has happened (we are constantly fighting his allergies as we learn what he can/can’t eat), he has always come home in worse shape than when we left. Not at Rodney’s house. He received loving care during his stay and it showed! We also got tons of pictures from Benny’s stay. Thanks Rodney!”

“Thank you soooo much Lia! She really came in clutch with the last minute booking in the middle of a snow storm! Long story short I work at the ER and was expected to stay over at least for 5days to cover outa due to the snow. She accepted “Kash” the day of and treated him so well. How do I know this you ask? Because for one I’ve had other people watch my dog before and he came back to me timid and afraid. So I knew something wasn’t right. About: I've taken care of a dog in various formats since I was 14 years old. Currently I have three dogs that I have rescued and raised from various experiences where without me, they would have ended up worse off. I have extensive knowledge in pet care, wellbeing and injuries to keep a dog safe, happy and in a loving home. I've made it a point to understand dog nonverbal communication so that I can identify issues as they arise and keep my and your pets safe. My wife and I work opposite schedules most of the week meaning someone is home most of the day. I am an early riser often starting my day at 5am where I handle pet care until I leave for work around 7:30am. My wife takes over care until I return from work at 5pm and this is how our schedule runs Tuesday through Thursday. Monday and Friday we work the same shift so our pups will be unsupervised from 10am-5pm but are left in safe environments with plenty of mental stimulation and given potty breaks at 10am and extended breaks at 5pm when I arrive home. I am home all day on the weekends to take care of pet needs. I have a fenced in backyard that the dogs are free to play in all day with my other pups who are very friendly to other dogs. We have dog crates already set up in the home that are used on as needed basis and lots of mental stimulation toys like kongs, puzzles and treat dispensing toys. For my dogs they eat twice a day in the morning and night and are allowed unlimited (supervised through security cameras and frequent checks) backyard time, where there is water and a dog house to cool off. The dogs get walked on a rotating schedule throughout the week. In others homes I am sure to follow the schedule of the owner and ensure the wellbeing of your pet.

Pets at this home get 3-4 potty breaks a day depending on age. For the most part I let them roam around in their own areas. However, if there is a full house, the dogs will be secluded to their individual areas and brought out for individual playtime 1 at a time to prevent spats or incidents between pets. Dogs will get atleast 2 hours of playtime and a good long walk (2 if high energy). Dogs are feed according to their schedules (twice a day if not provided).

“Benny has been to Rodney’s house twice- once for doggy day care and once for boarding. He had a blast there and had tons of fun romping around with Rodney’s pups. Rodney accommodated a slightly different pickup due to ice and snow, which I greatly appreciated. Rodney also didn’t have a problem wiping off Benny’s paws (he had an allergic reaction to some treats right before he went), and his paws looked better when we picked him up. At other boarding facilities when this has happened (we are constantly fighting his allergies as we learn what he can/can’t eat), he has always come home in worse shape than when we left. Not at Rodney’s house. He received loving care during his stay and it showed! We also got tons of pictures from Benny’s stay. Thanks Rodney!”

It helped a lot that she had a fully fenced yard and no pets of her own when we booked her. From meet and greet to pick up, she made it easy for everyone. I’m patient, attentive, playful, and dependable, and I treat every pet like they’re part of my own family. I’m also happy to follow your pet’s normal feeding, walking, medication, potty, and bedtime routines so they experience as little disruption as possible. I’m available for pet care Monday through Thursday from 5:00–6:30 AM and 6:00PM–10:00 PM, with full-day availability Friday through Sunday. I work close to home, so pets staying with me can receive a lunch-break check-in during my workdays. I’m happy to accommodate your pet’s routine and provide dependable, loving care. Your pet’s safety and comfort always come first. I take the time to learn your pet’s routine, personality, likes, dislikes, and any special instructions before providing care. I’m attentive during walks and visits, keep pets supervised, and follow your instructions carefully. I’ll also provide updates and photos so you never have to wonder how your fur baby is doing. My goal is for you to feel completely comfortable knowing your pet is in caring, responsible hands.
