About: Throughout my life, I have cared for goats, cats (old and young), dogs (big and small), chickens, rabbits, and different kinds of rodents. I love all animals and treat other people's pets as if they were my own. I am experienced in administering oral medications, working with difficult walkers, and caring for anxious animals. I have one cat and one dog right now! I currently work remotely, so I am able to design my schedule around your pets' needs. I believe that pets thrive with a consistent schedule and will do my best to stick to your pets' schedule. All pets have social needs and activity needs. As a dog sitter, I will not just take your dog out for potty walks, but we will also go for sniff adventures, play fetch, and more. As a cat sitter, I provide as much attention as your cat is interested in. We can sit on the couch and cuddle or admire each other from a distance.

I have previously worked for a dog rescue, both as a volunteer dog walker and an employee (marketing, but we always had dogs around and I learned so much about their care!). I personally have had an amazing pit bull named Luna for 9 years - she is leash reactive so I also have experience dealing with hard-to-walk pups! About: I have loved and cared for animals for most of my life. I grew up with a large dog who was deeply loved and considered part of the family. Caring for him taught me how to recognize an animal’s needs, understand body language, and approach pets with patience, respect, and compassion through all stages of their lives. Since then, I have cared for dogs and cats belonging to friends and family through regular check-ins, weekend visits, week-long house-sitting stays, and week-long dog-sitting stays in my own home. I understand that every pet has a unique personality and may need time to feel comfortable with someone new or in a new environment. I am patient during that adjustment period and always do my best to maintain their normal routine and help them feel safe, relaxed, and cared for. I hold a bachelor’s degree in biology with a focus in ecology and marine biology. I also recently completed an internship with Zoo Miami in animal care, training, and husbandry. This experience strengthened my ability to observe animal behavior, respond appropriately to their needs, and communicate with animals using clear, consistent, and positive methods. I am new to the city and currently have full availability including last minute scheduling, and I am excited to build trusted relationships with local pet owners and their animals. Animal welfare is extremely important to me, and I would treat your pets with the same care, attention, and respect I would want for my own. I recently moved to the city and currently have a very flexible schedule. I am available throughout the day, seven days a week, including mornings, afternoons, evenings, and weekends. This flexibility allows me to accommodate check-ins, walks, overnight stays, and last-minute requests whenever possible. I care for every pet according to their usual routine, personality, and individual needs. I carefully follow all feeding, walking, medication, and care instructions provided by the owner, and I take time to help each pet feel safe and comfortable with me. In a client’s home, I am respectful of both the pet’s space and the home itself. I make sure doors, windows, gates, leashes, and carriers are secure, keep food and potentially harmful items out of reach, and leave the home clean and orderly. I also provide regular updates and photos so owners can feel confident that their pets are happy and well cared for. When caring for pets in my home, I provide a calm, clean, and welcoming environment. I supervise pets closely, give them plenty of attention, and help them adjust patiently to the new surroundings. I understand that some animals need more time and space than others, so I always pay attention to their body language and comfort level.

About: Growing up with 2 Huskies, 1 Samoyed, 9 bunnies, and even a chinchilla, I have had my fair share of experience with animals over the years. I have taken care of the pets, plants, and houses of family and friends, now wishing to expand that interest to my community. I am additionally very active and a runner, therefore happy to walk (and run) with energetic pets. As a part-time nurse, I work 2-3 shifts a week. While my schedule is different week by week, I am available on my days off. I treat other homes with the same cleanliness and respect as my own. My home is a 3 story Baltimore rowhouse with a small fenced-in backyard and many walkable parks in the vicinity. I have 1 very shy female cat, who usually keeps to herself when other animals are around.
