“Ana did such a wonderful job with my dogs when they had to take medications, had an upset stomach or itching issues. She sent me photos and videos which really lifted my spirits. Ana is very attentive and asks about how you would like things done in your home. I have two small dogs and would recommend her. My two dogs have different personalities and she was great at helping them each at their own pace.”

“Ivan was amazing! He was communicative; he really took time and paid attention to our cats’ needs during our extended stay away. We would absolutely book again! Thanks!”

“Sierra was such a wonderful caretaker for our pet bunny! She was super reliable and sent detailed updates with photos after each visit. Our bunny was shedding, so we asked Sierra at the last minute to add grooming and a daily tablet to her visits. She was really accommodating. After a 4 day trip, we came home to a really happy pet. We'll definitely try to book Sierra next time we're out of town. Thank you, Sierra!”

“Sarah has been fantastic with our anxious dog. Leo doesn't normally go up to anyone, even if they offer treats. Sarah seems to have won our dog's trust. She even bakes homemade dog treats to gain Leo’s trust and slowly and with lots of patience she is accomplishing the visits with Leo. We are greatly appreciative of all her work. I highly recommend Sarah as a pet sitter. Thank you Sarah!.”

“Alexis was tremendous. He left thorough review cards, lots of pictures, and was very communicative throughout his drop-ins. He was very flexible through a home-alarm difficulty, was very sweet to our cats, and we cannot recommend him enough. Please consider utilizing Alexis for your home visits!”

“Asia is truly wonderful, she went above and beyond and my dog was very happy! she is very neat! she sent me photo updates and i was so relaxed knowing my puppy was in great hands, we are truly blessed to have encountered her on rover!”

About: I have loved and cared for animals for most of my life. I grew up with a large dog who was deeply loved and considered part of the family. Caring for him taught me how to recognize an animal’s needs, understand body language, and approach pets with patience, respect, and compassion through all stages of their lives. Since then, I have cared for dogs and cats belonging to friends and family through regular check-ins, weekend visits, week-long house-sitting stays, and week-long dog-sitting stays in my own home. I understand that every pet has a unique personality and may need time to feel comfortable with someone new or in a new environment. I am patient during that adjustment period and always do my best to maintain their normal routine and help them feel safe, relaxed, and cared for. I hold a bachelor’s degree in biology with a focus in ecology and marine biology. I also recently completed an internship with Zoo Miami in animal care, training, and husbandry. This experience strengthened my ability to observe animal behavior, respond appropriately to their needs, and communicate with animals using clear, consistent, and positive methods. I am new to the city and currently have full availability including last minute scheduling, and I am excited to build trusted relationships with local pet owners and their animals. Animal welfare is extremely important to me, and I would treat your pets with the same care, attention, and respect I would want for my own. I recently moved to the city and currently have a very flexible schedule. I am available throughout the day, seven days a week, including mornings, afternoons, evenings, and weekends. This flexibility allows me to accommodate check-ins, walks, overnight stays, and last-minute requests whenever possible. I care for every pet according to their usual routine, personality, and individual needs. I carefully follow all feeding, walking, medication, and care instructions provided by the owner, and I take time to help each pet feel safe and comfortable with me. In a client’s home, I am respectful of both the pet’s space and the home itself. I make sure doors, windows, gates, leashes, and carriers are secure, keep food and potentially harmful items out of reach, and leave the home clean and orderly. I also provide regular updates and photos so owners can feel confident that their pets are happy and well cared for. When caring for pets in my home, I provide a calm, clean, and welcoming environment. I supervise pets closely, give them plenty of attention, and help them adjust patiently to the new surroundings. I understand that some animals need more time and space than others, so I always pay attention to their body language and comfort level.

About: Hello! I go by Sun (they/he) I am lover and owner of many pets since I was a child. I have experience with all kinds of dog breeds, big and small, I love them all! I aim to build trust and create healthy boundaries while also having fun with every animal under my care. Family and friends have relied on me for years for both short and long term care for our/their furry family members, especially during holidays or long term trips. I take pride in my attention to detail and will make sure to follow all care instructions to the best of my abilities. Being a full time tattoo artist gives me time in between my (usually) short appts to take care of all your pets needs, day or night. My weekdays tend to be open but I can provide services on weekends and overnight if given extended notice When I don’t have appts at my studio I can drop in, hang out, or walk your pet! I can provide detail oriented care of your pet at your home. I will do my best to match the energy of your pet in order to build trust and familiarity. Whether they require a chill hang out or lots of exercise, I’ll do whatever it takes to make them feel comfortable while your away.
“Joshuah took great care of our cat with digestive issues, and became fast friends with our kinda standoffish girl within a day. Great communication, lots of pictures, we felt super at ease knowing she was in caring hands. 10/10 would rebook.”

“This was our first time working with a pet sitter and Corinne was great! Our cat enjoyed the cuddles and getting to stay home instead of boarding. Would definitely recommend!”

“Nathalie was amazing !! It was so reassuring that she was checking in on my kitty Duke. She did a great job. She was trustworthy in our home, reliable, communicative, and caring. That’s all one could ask for when watching your fur babies. Will definitely book her again.”

About: Dogs have always been a part of my life. I love taking them for walks or chilling with them at home. They are the most loving animals. I specialize in walking aggressive and teritorial dogs. My families Australian cattle dog is all about her routine, needs order to her life and does not socialize well with other dogs. On walks with me she is very calm and rarely barks at strangers because she knows I am in control and that we are both safe. I have experience taking care of multiple dogs with separate meal plans and separate walking schedules. I also have experience medicating pets. I am very flexible and have access to a dog friendly car. Your dog will be safe, loved and cared for with me.
“Zoe was kind enough to step in at the last minute and took great care of my two cats while I was away for a few days over the holidays! She was easy to communicate with, and I will happily book with her again in the future!”

“Bito took great care of our cats over a long weekend and sent lots of updates and photos during each visit, which we really appreciated. They spent extra time with our cats and were very communicative throughout the stay. We also came home to a very tidy house, which was thoughtful of them. Our cats seemed relaxed and well cared for when we returned.”

About: I have experience caring for dogs and cats, including feeding, walking, grooming, administering basic medications, and providing companionship. I am attentive, patient, and committed to ensuring animals feel safe, healthy, and well cared for. I work until 5:00 PM on weekdays, so I am available for pet care in the evenings and throughout the weekends. I am committed to providing pets with the attention, exercise, and companionship they need while their owners are away. I am reliable, punctual, and flexible whenever possible. SJ was able to fill in for us last minute to watch out three kitties for the weekend (they also regularly check in on our doggy throughout the week). They are super responsive and easy to communicate with, very reliable, and take such good care of our pets. Would highly recommend!!!

Ned is fantastic and our normally quite cautious cats warmed to him very quickly. He took his time to make them feel safe. He documented every visit in great detail and we were glad to know they were in good hands while we were away. Ned even let them out on a leash. Could not be happier or more grateful!

Kimberly is absolutely wonderful! Both of my cats loved her! One of my cats is typically skittish and hides from new people, but you would have never known that with Kimberly because he warmed right up to her and even let her pet him which speaks volumes about how comfortable she makes animals feel. She did a great job at caring for my cats and giving my diabetic cat his insulin shots. I loved that she gave thorough updates and great pictures. I highly recommend booking with her!

Kyra did a fantastic job watching my three meow meows while I was traveling. I have battery operated food bowls (long story) and she even replaced them when needed! (Of course I forgot to leave replacements, so above and beyond to replace them.) Would definitely hire again.

Bito did a fantastic job watching my two cats, showing incredible patience with both the shy one and the feisty one. Bito was highly reliable, kept the cats' area clean, and maintained excellent communication the entire time. Bito is a top-tier sitter, and I would absolutely book their services again.

Marissa always does a fantastic job taking care of our pets. She gives them each attention, provides detailed updates, and gets lots of photos. Anytime there is an accident or unexpected issue she is quick to jump into action while keeping us updated. We are so thankful to have her as a sitter. We would highly recommend her.

So grateful to Brianna for taking such good care of my cats, including giving one eye drops. She was very communicative and caring throughout and very understanding of me still figuring out Rover. A super lovely human overall, would highly recommend her to anyone :)

I went away for two weeks to Italy and Victoria looked after my sweet cat Willow for me. She did an amazing job and I didn’t have to worry at all while I was away. She made sure Willow had plenty of food, water, and pets everyday, and also was super diligent with giving Willow her daily medicine. I loved Victoria’s daily reports and pictures of Willow and it gave me a lot of comfort while I was on my trip. I would definitely recommend Victoria for looking after your fur babies.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
