About: Hi!! My name is Elisha. It is a pleasure to be a consideration to you. A little about me .. I’ve taken care of many doggies and kitties for relatives, friends, you name it. Since I can remember. I treat them as I would real children and companions. If you are in need of an extra hand, to walk or to visit your pup/kitty, I am available. I know life can get busy with work, traveling, or even dates. That is why I am so compassionate towards fur babies and believe that for your comfort as an owner, Rover is a great investment. I try to keep costs low as I am new, so here is to new pup/kitty beginnings ! I work 3-5 hours in the Baltimore area, however I live up Harford county so I’m flexible with locations and times! I can do early mornings, late noons, whichever is preferred by you :) I have a friendly pittie who can keep your dog company on walks (if they fare well that way) I will give often updates, photos, any notes as needed. An additional service I like to do for clients is picking up waste in the back, as it tends to become tedious and maybe difficult for some people, I am all here for it ! Please request that when booking.
“Blair was friendly and professional. We completely trusted her to take care of our two dogs and even give one of them his insulin shots twice a day. It's comforting to know that we can go away knowing that our dogs are in good hands.”
“Karenna is a reliable and thoughtful sitter. She made my cats feel like they had a friend when I was away. She cleaned up, asked questions along the way, and got my shy kitty to come out for rubs and pets. I will definitely use her again- I highly recommend her!”

“Excellent communication all the time, on the button My dog loves her….matter fact I’m home now and normally my dog Lexy would not go out with anybody if I was here. However, with Susan might Lexy gives her the respect she’s due and follows her without hesitation”

“Brian really came through for us at the last minute! Our usual house sitter had an emergency and had to leave two days before the end of our trip, and Brian jumped in to help even though he had never cat sit for us before. He was attentive to detail and kept us updated with pictures. Thanks again Brian you really saved our vacation!”

“Joshua was wonderful, he was timely, communicative, and our shy kitty absolutely loved him. If you are looking for someone dependable who loves your pet he is the one!”

About: Growing up on a ranch, I cared for dogs, cats, rabbits, chickens, horses, and exotic animals—so very little surprises me! 😊 Pet sitting was actually my first neighborhood “business” as a kid, which tells you this has always been more passion than side gig. Being away from home for school these past few years, I’ve dearly missed caring for animals— so this is my way of staying connected to something I love. I’m a naturally curious person and take the time to learn each pet’s personality and routines so I can give them attentive, enriching care while you’re away. 😊 I’ll be working remotely for the foreseeable future, which gives me plenty of flexibility to fit pet care naturally into my day. I can accommodate different feeding and walking schedules, playtime, medication, check-ins, and plenty of attention and companionship throughout the day. Since my work travels with me, I’m also flexible with longer stays and can be around much more than someone working outside the home. I know how important it is to trust someone not only with your pet, but with your home. I take both seriously and will follow your instructions and your pet’s usual routine closely. I’m attentive to changes in behavior, appetite, or energy and always prioritize keeping pets safe, comfortable, and secure. I’m also more than happy to send plenty of photos and updates so you can relax knowing your pet is in good hands while you’re away😊
“Sam is a wonderful pet sitter. She has been so flexible during multiple last minute changes and emergencies. I fully trust her to care for my cat and I’ve noticed my cat also really likes her. She has been great at following my care instructions and always provides pictures and descriptions of how he’s doing. Definitely one of the best pet sitting experiences I’ve had!”

“A wonderful cat sitter :) Very communicative, gave me detailed notes from every visit and lots of pictures so I could rest assured that my shy cat was well cared for while I was away. Thank you!”

“Jenna is absolutely wonderful from the get-go - thoughtful, reliable, professional, and is excellent at communication. She took great care of my cat and sent me the cutest messages and photos while I was away. We are excited and thankful to have her back for the next trip. Can’t recommend enough!”
“We are so glad to have found Marwa to help take care of our pup during the day. She is truly passionate, caring, and knowledgeable about dogs. She is constantly going above and beyond to help Lolli become more comfortable and confident with her. Marwa is lovely, and we felt an immediate connection with her (maybe not Lolli quite yet!). I feel completely at ease having her enter our home and provide such extraordinary care for Lolli. Her patience, dedication, and genuine love for animals shine through in everything she does. We feel very lucky to have found her and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a trustworthy and compassionate dog walker.”

“Sean and his partner Paulina were quick to respond to all messages and showed up on time, both to our meet and greet and to all three cat-sitting sessions while we were out of town. Our two babies were well fed and watered, and the more social one got some attention and play from Paulina too. The shy guy had a cleaned litter box to use when he came out of hiding after they left, but before that they even watered the flower baskets on our porch as a heat wave was starting. Thanks again Sean and Paulina!”

“I’m so thankful Ashley. I picked 2 weeks of the worst weather and you made it every day. You kept me informed and updated on our cat, checked the basement for water leaks, and even let Birdie sit on your lap for comfort. Thank you so much. I know these last two weeks were not easy. We really appreciate it. I can’t wait to see my baby.”

“Christine took care of Widge while I had to be away for a few days. She was awesome and provided regular updates and photos, and took the time to make sure my kitty felt well cared for and didn't feel lonely. :)”

“Maria is very sweet and kind and an excellent communicator. My senior dog can be very stubborn but she got him to cooperate no issue. Highly recommend! ❤️”

About: I have a 7 year old dog myself. I have always taken care of her, played with her, and even trained her as a puppy. She is puppy pad trained and knows basic commands such as sit, lay down, come, and drop it. I have also helped close friends take care of their dogs, walking and feeding, countless times. I work part-time so there are always a few days out of the week where I am available. I am usually always available at least 3 times a week. I have one pup who is loved immensely. I care for all animals as if they are my children. I love animals and caring for them so they will always be loved and cared for while in my care.

Blair is fantastic! She is organized and timely - you always know Blair will check in with your pets at the designated date and time. She is so caring and diligent - always observing little differences in your pets personalities and attitudes. She is simply the best.
Brian really came through for us at the last minute! Ashley did an amazing job taking care of my old kitty. She immediately bonded with her (had her out from her “new person” hiding place on day 1, sent great pics, spent time giving her lots of love, had my cat coming out to greet her and give her lots of rubs, and even watered my plants and cleaned up around the litter. She went the extra mile to ask thoughtful questions and kindly cleaned up my porch after a storm came through while I was away. Would highly recommend her-you can leave your fur baby and know they are in good hands!

Elizabeth consistently exceeded expectations! She took the time to keep my boys happy, took them onto my balcony every day, and was so thorough that my separation anxiety was gone despite being in another country. An added bonus is all the pictures she takes-I definitely have saved some of the super silly ones and they make me happy!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
