“Kathleen was terrific with Miles, appreciatively followed all instructions and was very communicative. Looking forward to booking with her in the future!”

About: I have been dog sitting with my father through Rover since I was 13. Now that I have moved out and have a cat, I am excited to care for your furry friends! I am a medical student on summer break currently working remotely. This gives me the flexibility to walk and take care of dogs most days. I am almost always in the area since I work from home. My previous experience with Rover has taught me the ins and outs of taking care of dogs and cats alike.

“Lindsay did an excellent job watching our cat while we were away. She sent many updates and photos. I wasn’t worried in the slightest - I could tell our cat was well taken care of. Thank you Lindsay!”

“Naya was wonderful with checking in on my cats over the holiday. Extremely communicative about everything from her schedule, to how the cats were doing each day, their food/water/litter, etc. It made me feel so comfortable knowing she was watching them and helped me have a great vacation!”

“Vita was very professional and courteous. She went the extra mile to make sure my dogs were taken care of. Would 100% recommend for a home visit, especially for dogs that require a little extra care and attention.”

“Tanner did a great job of watching after my cats for a week. He is very responsive and does everything we ask with kindness and enthusiasm. He is a regular fur-baby sitter for us because of his reliability. And the cats seem to enjoy seeing him!”

About: I am a therapist full time and I grew up with a labradoodle (he’s 13 and thriving!) I have two cats of my own as well. Growing up throughout high school, I was a dog sitter and dog walker for neighbors and family friends. I have so much love for animals and experience in senior dog care, post-surgery care, and all sorts of cat care :) I also have watched bunnies!! I work full time as a therapist but full time looks different as a therapist, I work about 25 hours a week so I have lots of time to drop by and check on your animal(s) or take ‘em out for a walk! I approach every animal with love and respect for their boundaries! I am a huge animal lover and my empathy I would say is my strong suit for both my full time job and this one :)
About: I have always been an animal person, and have been a regular dogsitter and catsitter for friends and family for over 10 years. I love caring for all types of critters, from little balls of energy to to more mellow senior animals, and will try my best not to spoil yours too much (depending on how quickly they steal my heart.) I specialize in enrichment activities, such as walks and play sessions, but will also enjoy just hanging out with your little buddy in any capacity. I'm currently off of school for the summer, so I have lots of available time in the day to care for your animals! I am generally available any day of the week between 8 AM and 10 PM, except for Sunday, when I am not available until 11 AM. (6-8 AM is also a possibility if necessary.) I always make sure to respect my clients' homes and keep their belongings safe from rowdy playing. I will always be sure to read your instructions for entry carefully, and I am good at cleaning up a mess if there is one made.
“Ella did an incredible job checking in on our cats and bearded dragons. A great communicator that took good care of our pets and even better pictures made being away easy. Thank you!”

“Isabel was absolutely amazing! She was very communicative and responsive while we were out of town and made us feel very safe and secure leaving our 3 pups with her. They can be a handful and she handled them so well and thoughtfully. We would absolutely book with her again!”

“Catherine took great care of BuBu while I was gone. From the pictures she sent me, it's clear that he warmed up to her quickly and enjoyed the attention she gave him. It looks like Catherine spent a lot of time brushing BuBu, which is one of his favorite things in the world. Catherine went above and beyond by emptying the litter genie when it was full and throwing the bag in the dumpster.”

“Nina was so wonderful in taking care of my elderly cats! She kept them fed and happy, and provided ample play time! I think they might like her more than they like me now.”

Mount Vernon cat parents share their Rover experiences
Kimberlyn was amazing! She made sure Luna was well taken care of while I was gone on vacation, and with such short notice it was very, very much appreciated! The pictures she sent were adorable and I could rest easy knowing my kitty was in good hands. Will definitely book again in the future if I need someone to watch her!

Kaia is a great, gentle person. My cat Sami loved her! She kindly accepted to visit me and Sami first, a week before the scheduled visits and that was essential to ensure everything would go smooth. My building front desk has excessive rules on visits and she was very understanding. I would totally recommend her for caring for your pets!

SJ-Thank you very much. So glad that Julietta remembered you. I forgot to leave the cat door unlocked.,Bit that’s okay as it is brutal outside. Juluetta is outside with me sitting under a chair on the patio. We are set for Tuesday. Just want to reconfirm you will arrive at 5 to give her dinner. I remember saying that you might go out in evening for dinner. Could I take that back. Since she will be alone for many hours I think it best for you to be with her. Feel free to order in. Also, do you have any flexibility re: adding lunch on Wednesday at noon. Just for 1/2 hr? Let me know. Many thanks. Warmly, Nancy

We had a great experience with Reniko as our cat sitter! He took excellent care of our three cats while we were away and gave us peace of mind throughout the visit. Communication was timely and appropriate, with regular updates and photos that let us know everyone was doing well. Our cats seemed happy, comfortable, and well cared for when we returned home. He even got our shy one to say hello (an impressive feat)! We would happily book with him again and highly recommend to anyone looking for a reliable and attentive pet sitter.

James was absolutely fantastic with our cat! Sometimes she has a hard time warming up to new people but she had a great time with James. He took amazing care of Willow while we were on a long vacation and was even able to extend his services on short notice. We would recommend him without hesitation and will be booking with him again the next time we are gone.

Sylvia is 100% amazing!! On an international trip, my internet connection was super challenging (unexpectedly). Each time I was able to obtain signal, I was flooded with the best pictures of my Teddy, and great check ins from Sylvia. I immediately knew that Teddy was in great care and I was at ease in my heart. Sylvia's great communication and diligence was non-stop, even when my communication went down! This added so much literal PEACE to my time away. I will use her again and again in the future for sure.
