“Thank you soooo much Lia! She really came in clutch with the last minute booking in the middle of a snow storm! Long story short I work at the ER and was expected to stay over at least for 5days to cover outa due to the snow. She accepted “Kash” the day of and treated him so well. How do I know this you ask? Because for one I’ve had other people watch my dog before and he came back to me timid and afraid. So I knew something wasn’t right. But Lia she kept me involved every step of the way and answered whenever I contacted her in record time. If she will have us we will definitely be returning 💕 She’s a true animal lover and it shows😇”

“Anna & Christian were great! They were very accommodating to Nahla. They did a meet and greet to make sure she would be comfortable during her stay. They were very communicative and sent updates and pics. They made sure Nahla was comfortable despite her having allergy flare ups. They had no problem giving her medication. I appreciate the care they provided. I would definitely recommend.”
“Demetrius watched our dog Taz and quickly became one of his favorite people!!! We got updates throughout the day about how well they were doing together. It usually takes Taz a long time to warm up to people, leading us to consider Demetrius a dog whisperer!!! We are so grateful for him and look forward to bringing Taz back to stay with him and Sebastian again in the future! Highly recommend!”

“Aida was a wonderful sitter and my dog had a great time with her! He enjoyed time spent in her large yard, many walks, and an overall comfortable stay. She shared frequent updates and pictures, and was happy to adapt to my dog’s routine and quirks. I felt so comfortable and was able to enjoy my trip, knowing my dog was in fabulous care.”

“Fatty had the absolute best time staying with her family. He was showered with affection, got tons of cuddles, and even got treated to pup cups. He loved them so much and we are so happy he has an open invitation to return anytime. Highly recommend her to anyone looking for someone who will love their dog like family!”

“This was our first time with Kyra, she was great! Apollo had a nice and cozy time with her. She was communicative and understanding with us, planning to come back to her place soon!”
“Sarah was great and took amazing care of Coco on the overnight stay. Our dog can take some time to get used to new people, but we had no doubt Coco would be in good hands. We would book Sarah again to care for Coco in a heartbeat!”

“My dog loved his stay with Veronica. She made sure my dog was comfortable in her home and made every effort to get to know his personality and preferences before he boarded with her. My dog returned home a happy pup!”

“Loved loved LOVED Nicole. King’s transition was so smooth. She stayed in communication. Made us feel comfortable from the beginning to the end. King will definitely be back.”

“Meagan and Chris were amazing! They took such great care and shared pics daily. Yani had a great time and we would definitely have our next stay with them.”

“Jessica did a wonderful job taking care of my fur baby! Maxwell doesn’t take to strangers in my presence so I was very nervous about leaving him for the weekend. Jessica assured me that he would be well taken care of, and he was! Jessica made sure to check in with me throughout the weekend and sent pics as well. Max returned happy and healthy! Thank you Jessica! I will definitely be contacting you again soon.”

“This is the second time booking with Rey. My babies were gone for 2 weeks for the first time ever and they were well taken care off. I look forward to booking again.”

“Our girls were treated so well!! Updates with photos/videos everyday. They always looked very happy and comfortable. They almost seemed like they didn't want to come back with us for a second!😆😆”

“I am very pleased and grateful for her cat-sitting services. She is responsible and provides excellent care for our cats. I will definitely request her services again.”

“Courtney did a great job taking care of my cat, Meghan, during my week-long trip! Meghan is usually scared of strangers, but Courtney quickly gained her trust, kept her active with her favorite toys, and even got her comfortable enough to be petted! Courtney kept me updated on how Meghan was doing throughout my trip, which gave me great peace of mind. When I returned, I found everything in perfect order, and it was clear that Courtney had carefully followed all of my detailed instructions. I would definitely recommend Courtney to any pet parent looking for someone caring, attentive, and trustworthy! :)”

“Ella was exceptional to work with, we will definitely be rebooking!! Ella watched our two kitties over a holiday weekend and actually put my anxious mind at ease! During the meet and greet, and throughout the stay, Ella was friendly, quick to respond, and detail oriented. Our kitties have a bit of a complicated routine, but Ella kept them on track—even our anxious kitty took all of her medicines! Upon returning from our trip, it was clear that our kitties (and apartment) were well cared for! Thank you, Ella!!”

About: I’m a big believer that pets are part of the family, and I’ll treat your cat with care, patience, and respect. I love playing with toys, giving them attention, and getting to know their unique personalities. But I also understand that cats are independent creatures! Some want to play and cuddle, while others are happiest doing their own thing. I’m happy to follow their lead and give them as much attention—or as much space—as they want. I’ll make sure your cat’s daily routine is maintained, including fresh food and water, a clean litter box, playtime, and plenty of companionship. I’ll follow your instructions carefully and keep an eye out for anything unusual so you can feel confident your cat is safe and well cared for while you’re away. My home is smoke-free, clean, calm, and pet-friendly, and I’m mindful about keeping food safely stored and maintaining a clean, sanitized environment. Most importantly, I want your cat to feel comfortable and secure. Whether they greet me at the door, want to chase a toy around the room, or barely acknowledge my existence from their favorite hiding spot 😂, I’m happy to meet them exactly where they are. Your cat gets to be themselves! My job is to make sure they’re happy, safe, and cared for. 🐾

“Jillian took such great care of our kitty! She provided detailed updates during the drop ins with lots of adorable pictures, and our kitty clearly enjoyed her company. I came home to a happy and healthy kitty thanks to all the pets, cuddles, and playtime she provided. Thank you, Jillian! 😊”

“Brianna was great! She boarded my cat for 6 days and took great care of her and sent daily updates and photos. She was super flexible with the booking and pick up and drop off! Would definitely recommend booking with her!😊”

“Grace was communicative and responsive, she sent photos and detailed updates daily during her visits. It was obvious from the photos that she bonded well with our shy cat! Highly recommend. We will definitely be calling on Grace again for future visits!”

“Ned is the best! I was away for 10 days and they did a fantastic job of my cat, my apartment, and the plants I neglect on a regular basis. Absolutely recommend you hire them for your pet sitting needs!”

“Nina was excellent with Blue. She played with him during each drop in and made sure he got lots of snuggles. Her updates were so detailed, I felt reassured that she was taking care of our kitty. Would definitely ask her to take care of Blue again!”

“Kyra did a fantastic job watching my three meow meows while I was traveling. I have battery operated food bowls (long story) and she even replaced them when needed! (Of course I forgot to leave replacements, so above and beyond to replace them.) Would definitely hire again.”

About: I've had dogs of all sizes, from Chihuahua to Great Dane and Great Pyrenees (multiple at a time), over the last fifteen years. I've cared for my rescue pup Dumpling on my own for the last five, and have helped to rehab her into the lovebug she is today. I like talking multiple walks per day, will give your fur baby lots of love and attention, and I work from home so they will always have a watchful over them. I understand how much pet owners love and cherish their babies, so I will treat them like they're my own while I have them. I work remotely full time and can be fairly flexible if needed. I walk my own dog four times a day, and she loves having walk buddies, so we'd of course take your pet along. On the weekends, I like going for extra long walks, so if that's something that your pet enjoys, they'll have a great time with me. I live in an apartment downtown, so I don't have a fenced area, but I let pets have free reign in my apartment. There are also two dog parks within walking distance, so for extra and off-leash play time, we can spend lots of time there.
“Vita was amazing and had great communication with drop-in visits! She updated me with pictures and I could tell my cat felt very comfortable with her, I would love to have her cat-sit again in the future!”

“Catherine took great care of BuBu while I was gone. From the pictures she sent me, it's clear that he warmed up to her quickly and enjoyed the attention she gave him. It looks like Catherine spent a lot of time brushing BuBu, which is one of his favorite things in the world. Catherine went above and beyond by emptying the litter genie when it was full and throwing the bag in the dumpster.”

“Julie did a great job taking care of our cat. She was prompt, reliable and came to visit when she said that she was planning to do so. My cat continues to really enjoy spending time with her. :-)”

“Veronica is a great sitter. I left my 10month old puppy with her while attending a baseball game. She was very knowledgeable and attentive to the needs of my girl. I would definitely recommend her.”

“Elizabeth and her pup have been amazing with Oliver! He clearly loves getting to have playtime during daycare with her, it’s exactly the socialization and fun that we want for him!”

“Taylor was great! He was communicative, friendly, and provided frequent updates on our mini-Aussie. He watched our dog twice, and we felt extremely comfortable leaving our pup with him both times. Highly recommend using Taylor if you're in the Kingston area!”

“Alicia was great. Would definitely trust our pup with her again. She allowed us to drop our dog off with short notice for the evening. So thankful.”

“Daniel was so great! We were passing through on a road trip and put in a last minute request for some dog sitting so my daughter and I could go to the aquarium- we were greeted by a very excited pack of dogs, ready to play. Daniel took our dog on a nice long walk and she had lots of playtime as well as relaxing time. The photos he provided make it clear that she felt right at home and very relaxed. When we came to collect her, Daniel made sure to give her one more big round of scritches, at which point I’m pretty sure she was ready to stay with him forever. We will definitely reach out to Daniel again if we are ever passing through again and need a pet sitter!”

“Jasmine is great!! This is my first time using Rover, and I am glad I found her. She is super responsible - asking me about daily routine; taking my dog outside for walk etc. Easy to communicate as well! Highly recommend 🥰🥰”

About: 10 years fostering dogs with a local shelter—puppies, medical cases, reactive dogs, seniors, and the shy ones who need extra patience. My favorites are large dogs and blockheads (staffies, rotties, pit mixes), though a small dog sneaks in now and then (frenchies, Havanese, corgi, etc). I'm new to Rover but not to petsitting. I've cared for dogs from families who adopted my fosters for years, and I've been active on Wag! At my house, dogs get on the furniture, play hard, and get spoiled. Belly rubs, butt scratches, and ear massages come standard. My goal is to send your dog home happy, loved and tired. I'm self-employed and work from home when dogs stay with me. (My clients are used to dogs making an appearance during Zoom calls.) I'm a runner so long walks with dogs is just part of the fitness routine. I match my schedule to your dog's feeding and bathroom schedule. Every dog that comes here is treated with patience and care. Some arrive nervous, anxious, or unsure—maybe a potty accident in a new space, maybe hesitant to settle. My job is to help them feel safe, give them time to decompress, and meet them where they are. When they're ready, I'm here for play and snuggles. I have a fenced yard and my property backs up to a park. Dogs get regular walks, plus potty breaks. If a dog needs shorter, lower-key outings, we do on-leash trips to the park right behind the house. If your dog is reactive, we do backyard potty breaks and walk off-peak hours on a specific path to minimize potential sightings of other dogs.

“Kristen was super friendly, responsive and flexible, asked lots of questions about Finn, and clearly loves animals! Finn can be a bit anxious when with a new sitter, and he didn’t hesitate to run right up to her and make himself at home. She sent pictures throughout the day and kept me updated. I felt incredibly comfortable leaving Finn with Kristen and was confident through his stay that he was being not just well taken care of but also getting lots of love and attention. I’d highly recommend Kristen!”

“Nina was tremendously helpful with my new pup when I had to leave out of town on short notice. She gave timely updates, practical advice, and left my Sophie feeling happy! Would book with her again.”

About: I provide dependable, patient, and personalized care for every pet I watch. I am especially attentive to routines, feeding schedules, and behavioral cues to ensure each pet feels safe and comfortable. I have experience caring for energetic puppies who need structure and consistency, as well as senior pets who require a gentler approach and close monitoring. I understand the importance of exercise, enrichment, and positive reinforcement. What sets me apart is my attention to detail, clear communication, and genuine love for animals. I treat every pet like family, providing updates, photos, and peace of mind while you are away. Pet care fits seamlessly into my daily routine because I work from home, which allows me to be fully present and attentive throughout the day. I am able to provide consistent supervision, regular potty breaks, walks, and playtime without long gaps in between. Since I am already structured with feeding schedules, morning and evening walks, and enrichment time for my own dog, adding another pet into my routine feels natural and organized. I also have home cameras for added security and peace of mind, which allows me to monitor pets even if I step into another room or step out briefly. This setup helps ensure pets are always safe, comfortable, and well cared for. In my home, safety and structure always come first. I maintain a clean, pet friendly environment with clear boundaries and supervision at all times. Because I work from home, pets are never left unattended for long periods. I also have home cameras for added monitoring and peace of mind. One of the biggest advantages of my space is access to a fenced indoor dog park. This allows dogs to safely run, play, and burn energy in a secure, controlled environment regardless of weather. “Sadie loved her walk with Kathleen, and I am so appreciative to have had Kathleen to care for Sadie while I was away! Kathleen was reliable and even took some extra time after the walk to make sure Sadie’s paws were wiped from the salt & ice outside. I know Sadie will be excited to see Kathleen again soon!”

About: I've always had a dog growing up and my parents made sure that me and my sisters were a part of training and raising a great dog. I've wanted my own pup forever and in 2019 when I was 100% ready to take on the responsibility, I got my best buddy, Atlas. We began our training at 16 weeks and are still going strong learning new skills and mastering old ones. My fiancé loves to say we "got such a great dog", but I know that Atlas and I worked our butts off to earn those compliments from strangers. In 2022 we adopted Dover into our little family giving Atlas a forever playmate. Dover is surprisingly 100% GSD which provided quite a learning curve as his training needs strongly differed from Atlas'. Working with Dover gave me a deeper understanding of dogs with separation anxiety and fear reactivity (barking) which has made me that much more prepared to work with any pup. I don't believe there are bad dogs, but every dog can have a bad day. As someone with a pup who is more reserved and particular about meeting new people, I understand the fear that comes with leaving your dog with someone new. It is my goal to love and understand your pup the same way you do so that you can feel comfortable being away. I'm embarrassingly obsessed with being the best dog owner, so I am constantly trying to learn how to best interact with dogs (and cats!) or fun new ways to engage my playful boys. I am the person friends call when they need help with their pets in any capacity-training, boarding, dog park visits, etc. My commitment to extraordinary pet care extends well past just my own boys. I can't wait to make your life as a pet parent just a little bit easier! Let's chat. 😊 I currently have a wide open schedule so I am available whenever your pet needs. I'm a morning person, so I don't mind the early morning walks. 🌞 As someone who understands that sometimes the need for short notice pet care is unavoidable, I am here to help step in when you need it most! Ever pet parent knows the best way to care for their pets, so I will always follow your guidance or suggestions. I love playing with pets and burning off that excess energy; I'm not one to just stop in and fill the water bowl-you can rest easy knowing snuggles always come after some exercise. I also love receiving updates or pictures of my boys when under someone else's care and I am happy to provide that to parents who prefer some pooch pics in the middle of the work day.

“Sophia did great with her drop-ins and walks for our young beagle, who can be very energetic and a bit of a handful. He was very happy and we could tell he had expended his puppy energy during the walks. She was always on time and communicated extremely well. We will definitely be asking Sophia back!”

“Amazing dog walkers ! Helped my pup through a little GI upset he was having. She even cleaned him up for me while I was at work so he wouldn’t have to wait. I’m so grateful!”

“Fatty had the absolute best time staying with her family. He was showered with affection, got tons of cuddles, and even got treated to pup cups. He loved them so much and we are so happy he has an open invitation to return anytime. Highly recommend her to anyone looking for someone who will love their dog like family!”

“Shruti took excellent care of my dog this weekend and did a truly wonderful job. She was communicative, responsible, and clearly loves animals. My dog was happy, well cared for, and relaxed when I returned, which says it all. I highly recommend Shurti and would absolutely book her again!”

“Loved loved LOVED Nicole. King’s transition was so smooth. She stayed in communication. Made us feel comfortable from the beginning to the end. King will definitely be back.”

“Karla is an amazing dog sitter! She communicates effectively through text message and the Rover chat. Karla also takes the most amazing photos of your pet to give you that extra sense of comfort. My dog had a wonderful time in her care and will definitely be back to see her soon.”

“Shanikki was very accommodating. I had to change my drop off and pick up times, and she was able to accommodate the changes. She took great care of my pups. They appeared happy and healthy when I picked them up. I would definitely hire her again!”

“Like any dog mom, I was nervous to leave my puppy JET for the first time, but Maryfe made the experience so reassuring. She’s an excellent communicator and kept me updated with lots of pictures and messages, which really put my mind at ease. My puppy had a wonderful time and came home happy. 10/10 !!! I would absolutely recommend her to anyone looking for a trustworthy sitter!”

“Kera was a wonderful sitter. My wife and I felt very comfortable having her look after our pup, Milo. She provided great feedback and updates and made sure we knew what was going on as needed. We could tell that Milo was enjoying his stay with her.”

“It’s obvious they truly love dogs and take the time to understand each one’s personality and needs. I loved getting regular photo updates throughout his stay. It gave me so much peace of mind to see him playing, cuddling, and looking completely at ease. When I picked him up, he was happy, relaxed, and clearly well cared for — I don’t think he wanted to leave! I highly recommend this home boarding service to anyone looking for a warm, trustworthy, and loving environment for their loving dog.”

“Rich provided a clean, comfortable and happy environment for Libby. She got plenty of exercise, playtime and potty breaks. He was gentle with her and learned how to manage some of her quirky behaviors. I felt very comfortable leaving her in his care and am thankful to have found him through Rover!”

“Gina was amazing! We had so much anxiety about leaving our girl for our wedding and Gina eased that worry x10! She sent us pictures, videos, and feedback about how arty was doing the whole stay! We will absolutely use Gina again!”

“We had to book last minute since for the 4th of July holiday weekend and Shatonia was so accommodating and understanding. She was very professional and responsive when I would check in and she was very understanding when traffic made us later than anticipated for pickup. Our pup seemed to have a good time and we definitely recommend booking with Shatonia!”

“Virginia and Steven were outstanding. We boarded our dog with them for a weekend and they were incredibly kind and accommodating when our flight got cancelled and she had to stay an extra night with them, and they didn’t bat an eye at giving her eye drops even though she doesn’t make it easy. Our dog seemed extremely well cared for when she came home. Would definitely rebook!”

“Casey is usually too nervous to eat when at a new persons house, but she was comfortable enough to eat at Marina's. That's a huge testament to Marina :)”

“Zola had a great time with Nathalie and her dog Nico for four nights. Nathalie was very communicative and flexible when I needed to change drop-off last minute. Zola came back happy and well taken care of - and I look forward to future doggy dates. Thanks again for everything, Nathalie!”
