About: I've had dogs of all sizes, from Chihuahua to Great Dane and Great Pyrenees (multiple at a time), over the last fifteen years. I've cared for my rescue pup Dumpling on my own for the last five, and have helped to rehab her into the lovebug she is today. I like talking multiple walks per day, will give your fur baby lots of love and attention, and I work from home so they will always have a watchful over them. I understand how much pet owners love and cherish their babies, so I will treat them like they're my own while I have them. I work remotely full time and can be fairly flexible if needed. I walk my own dog four times a day, and she loves having walk buddies, so we'd of course take your pet along. On the weekends, I like going for extra long walks, so if that's something that your pet enjoys, they'll have a great time with me. I live in an apartment downtown, so I don't have a fenced area, but I let pets have free reign in my apartment. There are also two dog parks within walking distance, so for extra and off-leash play time, we can spend lots of time there.
“Kyra did a fantastic job watching my three meow meows while I was traveling. I have battery operated food bowls (long story) and she even replaced them when needed! (Of course I forgot to leave replacements, so above and beyond to replace them.) Would definitely hire again.”

“Sierra did a great job taking care of our cat while we were gone. She is very responsive on the app and came over quickly when we had an issue with our feeder. Thanks a lot Sierra!”
“Taylor was really communicative and attentive to our cat. She asked lots of questions, was very responsive, and punctual. We have an asthmatic boy, but felt very assured that Taylor could administer his medication if it was needed. We could tell Schubert was happy and well-cared for on our return. I highly recommend her :)”

“Grace was communicative and responsive, she sent photos and detailed updates daily during her visits. It was obvious from the photos that she bonded well with our shy cat! Highly recommend. We will definitely be calling on Grace again for future visits!”

“Nina was fantastic! I hired her services during a trip to Europe and she was professional, courteous, attentive, and kept me up-to-date throughout my trip. I’ll definitely book her again for future trips!”

“Jillian is an outstanding cat sitter!! She took care of my two cats, Hana & Pachi for six days, and she did an amazing job. Jillian is a great communicator. She's very conscientious. She gave my cats lots of love, affection, playtime, and scritches. I will absolutely hire Jillian again!”

“Vita was amazing and had great communication with drop-in visits! She updated me with pictures and I could tell my cat felt very comfortable with her, I would love to have her cat-sit again in the future!”

About: Lifelong English bulldog owner specializing in high-maintenance needs, experienced with cats, and trusted for reliable overnight and day pet sitting by friends, neighbors and family. I live in SW Baltimore in Hollins Market near the B&O museum and Park. I work part-time remote from my home office and can be available through the day, night and make myself available for drop in visits when needed I have a fenced in yard, turf with green space on both sides. 3 story home with extra rooms. Door gates and an xl stroller if needed. I live directly across the street from a pet friendly park and regularly take my girl to Carroll And Patterson Park.
“I couldn’t be happier with our dog sitter! He’s incredibly prompt and always available—even on short notice, which has been a lifesaver more than once. It’s clear he genuinely loves my dog, and that kind of care and attention means a lot to me. He also has his own dog, so mine gets a built-in playmate and comes home happy and well-exercised every time. It’s such a relief knowing my dog is not just being watched, but truly cared for and enjoying the experience. Highly recommend!”

About: 10 years fostering dogs with a local shelter—puppies, medical cases, reactive dogs, seniors, and the shy ones who need extra patience. My favorites are large dogs and blockheads (staffies, rotties, pit mixes), though a small dog sneaks in now and then (frenchies, Havanese, corgi, etc). I'm new to Rover but not to petsitting. I've cared for dogs from families who adopted my fosters for years, and I've been active on Wag! At my house, dogs get on the furniture, play hard, and get spoiled. Belly rubs, butt scratches, and ear massages come standard. My goal is to send your dog home happy, loved and tired. I'm self-employed and work from home when dogs stay with me. (My clients are used to dogs making an appearance during Zoom calls.) I'm a runner so long walks with dogs is just part of the fitness routine. I match my schedule to your dog's feeding and bathroom schedule. Every dog that comes here is treated with patience and care. Some arrive nervous, anxious, or unsure—maybe a potty accident in a new space, maybe hesitant to settle. My job is to help them feel safe, give them time to decompress, and meet them where they are. When they're ready, I'm here for play and snuggles. I have a fenced yard and my property backs up to a park. Dogs get regular walks, plus potty breaks. If a dog needs shorter, lower-key outings, we do on-leash trips to the park right behind the house. If your dog is reactive, we do backyard potty breaks and walk off-peak hours on a specific path to minimize potential sightings of other dogs.
“Taylor was great! He was communicative, friendly, and provided frequent updates on our mini-Aussie. He watched our dog twice, and we felt extremely comfortable leaving our pup with him both times. Highly recommend using Taylor if you're in the Kingston area!”

I have plenty of time to give your fur baby the attention and love deserving ! I have a mini fenced in area in my back yard that my own pup adores. It is just enough space to get the job done and provide leg room. I live in walking distance to three huge parks, and on leash we will have a wonderful time.
About: I’ve been caring for dogs for over 12 years, and I treat every pup like they’re part of my own family. Whether your dog loves long walks, playing fetch, sticking to a routine, or simply relaxing with company, I adapt to their personality and needs. My goal is simple: give you peace of mind while making sure your dog feels safe, loved, and genuinely excited to come back. You’ll receive regular photo updates, clear communication, and dependable care from someone who understands that pets aren’t just animals—they’re family. Clean home. Reliable care. Happy dogs. Happy humans. I work from home so my schedule is flexible, which allows me to give dogs plenty of attention throughout the day. I also provide photo and video updates so you always know how your best friend is doing. My home features a fully fenced yard for safe outdoor play in a smoke-free environment. I care for every dog based on their individual routine, personality, and needs, whether they’re an energetic puppy or a laid-back senior. I’m comfortable administering oral medications, following crate-training routines, and maintaining the structure your dog is used to at home. I host only one family of pets at a time, allowing me to provide personalized attention without the stress of overcrowding. Dogs are left alone for no more than 1-2 hours a day.
“Alicia was great. Would definitely trust our pup with her again. She allowed us to drop our dog off with short notice for the evening. So thankful.”

About: Hi! My name is Lynn, and I've been raising/ caring for dogs & cats since I was a young child. I worked as a live in dog sitter for 2 years while in college. I’ve worked at an animal rescue shelter in Chicago & dog walking company in Baltimore for a combined 3 years. Independently I’ve cared for all kinds of animals all my life and I honestly just love being surrounded by them! They make me happy & I would like to think I do a pretty good job at keeping them happy as well. Thank you and hope to see you soon! I am currently doing pet care full time so whatever schedule we work out will be guaranteed from me. Let’s figure out what works :) By giving individual animals the care and attention they need. Unless they need space, which I can give them too haha. They will be fed, walked and/or played with to fit their needs and as you instruct. I have a fenced in backyard.

About: I have over 5 years of experience caring for dogs of all ages, breeds, and temperaments—including puppies, senior dogs, and dogs with special needs. I’ve personally trained my own beagle and have also helped friends and neighbors with walking, feeding, administering medications, and basic training. I truly love animals and treat every pet as if they were my own—patiently, kindly, and attentively. Whether it’s a playful pup or a shy senior, I adapt to their unique needs and personality. I’m also familiar with dog behavior and safety, and I make sure every dog feels safe, happy, and loved while in my care. I work from home as a software developer, which gives me a flexible schedule and plenty of time to care for pets throughout the day. I take regular breaks, which I use for walks, playtime, or simply giving your pet some extra love and attention. This routine allows me to be fully present and responsive to your dog’s needs, whether it’s sticking to a feeding schedule, administering medication, or just being there for comfort and companionship. I maintain a clean, quiet, and pet-friendly home with secure spaces where dogs can feel comfortable and safe. “Very patient Sitter. My dog is still a puppy and can be quite mischievous. Esterline was patient, kind and very understanding. I especially liked the environment that my dog was in. Her house was very clean and aesthetically pleasing. She even had another puppy for my dog to play with! When my dog came back home he was so tired he went straight to sleep and slept through the night! AMAZING!! Highly recommend.”

“Kristen was super friendly, responsive and flexible, asked lots of questions about Finn, and clearly loves animals! Finn can be a bit anxious when with a new sitter, and he didn’t hesitate to run right up to her and make himself at home. She sent pictures throughout the day and kept me updated. I felt incredibly comfortable leaving Finn with Kristen and was confident through his stay that he was being not just well taken care of but also getting lots of love and attention. I’d highly recommend Kristen!”

“Shannon is amazing, Minnie and Joy love her! I am super happy with Shannon because she sends tons of pictures and treats my pups wonderfully!”

About: I truly believe pets are part of the family—and when they’re in my care, that’s exactly how I treat them. ❤️ I have experience with dogs of all sizes and personalities, including walking, drop-in visits, and caring for them in both my home and their own homes. I love getting to know each dog and figuring out what makes them happy. Whether they want to play, go for a good walk, get lots of attention, or simply curl up beside me, I’m happy to follow their lead. I’m an active, engaged pet sitter and love playing, talking to, and spending time with my furry friends. Once they’re in my care, they become part of my family. I enjoy playing with cats too, and giving them attention, but I also understand that many cats are happiest doing their own thing. I’m perfectly comfortable letting a cat have their space while keeping a watchful eye and making sure they’re safe, comfortable, fed, and cared for. My home is smoke-free, clean, calm, and pet-friendly. I keep food safely stored in cupboards and maintain a clean and sanitized environment. I’m mindful about keeping floors and common areas clean and making sure pets have a safe, comfortable place to relax. I have lengthy experience with large aquarium set ups with fish, turtles, geckos and lizards. Most importantly, I’m dependable, attentive, and respectful of your pet’s individual routine and personality. I’ll follow your instructions carefully, keep you updated while you’re away, and treat your home and belongings with the same care I would want someone to give mine. Whether your pet needs a long walk, a playmate, a quiet companion, medication reminders, a cozy place to stay, or simply someone to keep them company—I’m happy to help. Your pets aren’t just pets to me. They’re little members of the family, and they deserve to be treated that way. 🐾 P.S. Rover is my first experience charging for pet care and that’s why I don’t have many jobs posted or reviews. Previously I traded services or offered free. I have been a Trusted Housesitters member for over 6 years. Right now, I’m working during the day, so my availability is primarily evenings, weekends, and holidays. Monday–Friday: Available after 6:00 PM for evening walks, drop-in visits, and pet care. Weekends: Flexible availability for walks, drop-ins, pet sitting, and boarding in my home. Holidays: Available for pet care, flexible. I’m also happy to care for pets in my home M-F when the timing is a good fit. I know pets do best with consistency, so I’ll work with you to understand their normal routine and make sure they get the attention, exercise, and care they need. As my schedule changes, I expect to have more daytime availability in the future! When you leave your pet in someone else’s care, trust matters. I take that responsibility seriously. Your pet’s safety and well-being will always come first. I’ll follow your instructions carefully, stick to their normal routines as much as possible, and pay attention to the little things that help them feel comfortable and secure. I’m also happy to send updates and photos so you can relax knowing your pet is doing well while you’re away. I treat your home with the same respect I would want someone to show mine. I’ll keep things clean and secure, make sure doors and gates are properly closed, and never take shortcuts when it comes to your pet’s safety. I’m dependable, attentive, and committed to doing what I say I’ll do. If something unexpected comes up, I’ll communicate with you rather than making assumptions. Most importantly, I understand that your pet isn’t “just a pet.” They’re family. My goal is for you to come home to a happy, comfortable pet—and to feel confident that they were cared for with kindness, patience, and genuine attention while you were gone. 🐾

About: I have been passionate about animals, particularly dogs, since I was a young girl. As I grew up, I have had several dogs (and cats!) of my own, and in my free time, I love to take care of family and friends' dogs. I have dog/cat sit for all ages, from puppies to senior dogs, kittens to elderly cats, big to small, reactive to docile; I love them all! I am currently between jobs, so any time that works for you and your pet works for me! Also happy to brave any weather if your pet is. I like to get acquainted with the pet through their human first: likes, dislikes, triggers (particularly sounds or things), health history (in case of any major surgeries or recoveries), diet, allergies, training, and, most importantly, favorite toys/treats.
About: I have always been an animal person, and have been a regular dogsitter and catsitter for friends and family for over 10 years. I love caring for all types of critters, from little balls of energy to to more mellow senior animals, and will try my best not to spoil yours too much (depending on how quickly they steal my heart.) I specialize in enrichment activities, such as walks and play sessions, but will also enjoy just hanging out with your little buddy in any capacity. I'm currently off of school for the summer, so I have lots of available time in the day to care for your animals! I am generally available any day of the week between 8 AM and 10 PM, except for Sunday, when I am not available until 11 AM. (6-8 AM is also a possibility if necessary.) I always make sure to respect my clients' homes and keep their belongings safe from rowdy playing. I will always be sure to read your instructions for entry carefully, and I am good at cleaning up a mess if there is one made.
“Taylor has been walking Mia for a couple weeks now and have been exceptional every time. She is always on time and sends a lot of pictures! Mia also loves being walked by Taylor. I would highly recommend Taylor for your walk and stay needs!”

“Julie is absolutely wonderful! I can tell she genuinely cares for the pets she’s watching. She’s quite diligent, prompt, and responsive. I would recommend her to any one who needs a dog walker/sitter”

About: I’m available outside of class to take care of your best friend! I have a lot of experience dogsitting, taking care of both family and friends' pets. I get along with all dogs, from the wildly energetic to shy babies. I’m excited to be there to assist with walking, feeding, washing, or anything else that is necessary. My goal is to give your dog the best walk (or run!) of his life. I have availability before and after school on weekdays (M/W/F afternoons and evenings, T/Th mornings and evenings). Also available Saturday and Sunday with notice (flexible). I am looking to care for dogs by walking and/or spending time with them, along with feeding or other requests. My apartment is not available for hosting.
About: I have plenty of experience taking care of the friendliest to the most stubborn dogs. I have taken care of both puppies and seniors in the past. I am happy to do whatever is needed to take care of your pets the best I can! I am a graduate student who currently has the summer off! I am plenty available to take care of your pets as needed, but my availability may change as the school year approaches. I can do whatever is needed in your home to make sure your pets are comfortable while I'm not around! Getting your dog in a crate would be no problem for me.
“Sophia did great with her drop-ins and walks for our young beagle, who can be very energetic and a bit of a handful. He was very happy and we could tell he had expended his puppy energy during the walks. She was always on time and communicated extremely well. We will definitely be asking Sophia back!”

About: I've always had a dog growing up and my parents made sure that me and my sisters were a part of training and raising a great dog. I've wanted my own pup forever and in 2019 when I was 100% ready to take on the responsibility, I got my best buddy, Atlas. We began our training at 16 weeks and are still going strong learning new skills and mastering old ones. My fiancé loves to say we "got such a great dog", but I know that Atlas and I worked our butts off to earn those compliments from strangers. In 2022 we adopted Dover into our little family giving Atlas a forever playmate. Dover is surprisingly 100% GSD which provided quite a learning curve as his training needs strongly differed from Atlas'. Working with Dover gave me a deeper understanding of dogs with separation anxiety and fear reactivity (barking) which has made me that much more prepared to work with any pup. I don't believe there are bad dogs, but every dog can have a bad day. As someone with a pup who is more reserved and particular about meeting new people, I understand the fear that comes with leaving your dog with someone new. It is my goal to love and understand your pup the same way you do so that you can feel comfortable being away. I'm embarrassingly obsessed with being the best dog owner, so I am constantly trying to learn how to best interact with dogs (and cats!) or fun new ways to engage my playful boys. I am the person friends call when they need help with their pets in any capacity-training, boarding, dog park visits, etc. My commitment to extraordinary pet care extends well past just my own boys. I can't wait to make your life as a pet parent just a little bit easier! Let's chat. 😊 I currently have a wide open schedule so I am available whenever your pet needs. I'm a morning person, so I don't mind the early morning walks. 🌞 As someone who understands that sometimes the need for short notice pet care is unavoidable, I am here to help step in when you need it most! Ever pet parent knows the best way to care for their pets, so I will always follow your guidance or suggestions. I love playing with pets and burning off that excess energy; I'm not one to just stop in and fill the water bowl-you can rest easy knowing snuggles always come after some exercise. I also love receiving updates or pictures of my boys when under someone else's care and I am happy to provide that to parents who prefer some pooch pics in the middle of the work day.
About: I was raised with all kinds of pets and always took part in their care. I am a lover of all animals and could never pick between cats or dogs! My warm demeanor and friendly disposition allows pets to feel comfortable with me quickly and easily. I’m super enthusiastic about animal care and would be honored to shower your fur baby with love. Since I work from home with a flexible schedule, I am easily able to pop in and care for your pets when you’re not around. I care for pets first and foremost with love, patience, and compassion. The specifics of how you would like your pet cared for are yours to create, and I will always do my best to accommodate. Whether your pet needs a medication, has a specific personality that requires extra attention, or any other special need, I am here to create the safe and trusting environment they require.
“Amazing dog walkers ! Helped my pup through a little GI upset he was having. She even cleaned him up for me while I was at work so he wouldn’t have to wait. I’m so grateful!”

“Demetrius watched our dog Taz and quickly became one of his favorite people!!! We got updates throughout the day about how well they were doing together. It usually takes Taz a long time to warm up to people, leading us to consider Demetrius a dog whisperer!!! We are so grateful for him and look forward to bringing Taz back to stay with him and Sebastian again in the future! Highly recommend!”

“Reynaldo came Thur and made this first timer feel at east!! My son had a great time making new friends and we are definitely using Reynaldo again and referring him to our neighbors!! We got updated often with great pictures and conversations when needed!! I wish I could pay Reynaldo millions more because our experience was better then expected!!”
“It’s obvious they truly love dogs and take the time to understand each one’s personality and needs. I loved getting regular photo updates throughout his stay. It gave me so much peace of mind to see him playing, cuddling, and looking completely at ease. When I picked him up, he was happy, relaxed, and clearly well cared for — I don’t think he wanted to leave! I highly recommend this home boarding service to anyone looking for a warm, trustworthy, and loving environment for their loving dog.”

“Shannikki was very kind to take Eugene as a last minute booking. She was patient in helping him get settled and getting to know him. She also sent me pictures and updates when I asked and was very understanding when I got stuck and traffic on the way to pick him up. Would definitely recommend!”

“Daniel took fantastic care of our pup! Sent lots of photos and was super communicative, we will definitely be using Daniel again next time we’re out of town and would highly recommend him!”

“Our pup’s overnight with Shannon was absolutely wonderful! Shannon is very nice and it is evident she really loves and cares for animals. She took great care of our Boston Terrier she kept us posted regularly on how he was doing with photos of him playing with the other dogs. It’s a big relief to know we can bring him there the next time we are going to be away and know not only that he will be in good hands but that he’s happy and having lots of fun.”

“Kera was a wonderful sitter. My wife and I felt very comfortable having her look after our pup, Milo. She provided great feedback and updates and made sure we knew what was going on as needed. We could tell that Milo was enjoying his stay with her.”

“Karla was absolutely amazing! From the moment we met her, she was so warm and welcoming, which immediately put us at ease. She sent frequent updates with photos, gave our pup so much love and attention, and made sure she stayed active and happy throughout her stay. It was clear that she genuinely cared for her like she was her own. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience. We highly recommend Karla and would absolutely book with her again!”

“Elizabeth took such great care of my dog while I was away. This is the longest I’ve ever had to leave my dog and I didn’t want to have to board her as she likes a lot of one on one attention. Elizabeth is very responsive, provides updates during the stay and is very accommodating to your dogs needs. I highly recommend her services!”
