“Crissy was outstanding and did an excellent job of caring for my dog while I was away for the weekend. She went above and beyond to assure my pup was comfortable and engaged. My dog is a a rescue pup and trust takes time and Crissy certainly earned it from me and my pup! Thank you immensely!”

“Jasmine was great with my Kobe! This was my first time using Rover and based off of my first time I would highly recommend the services. Jasmine dropped in to feed my dog as scheduled and even had a little play time with him. I got regular updates along with pictures of Kobe as well. Will definitely book again! ⭐️”

“Kathleen came by for a meet and greet with our pup, Poe. She was timely and communicative. She was patient and kind to Poe as they got to know each other. I look forward to having her come by to take care of our dog.”

“Stephanie did a great job watching Jax. She was able to come on short notice and kept me updated even with concerns involving my home. I loved all the pictures she took that showed me he was enjoying himself while in her care. I would definitely use her again for future needs.”
“Maria is very sweet and kind and an excellent communicator. My senior dog can be very stubborn but she got him to cooperate no issue. Highly recommend! ❤️”

About: I’ve had the pleasure of growing up with all types of animals and learning at a young age the responsibility of caring for them. I started pet sitting when I was 15 and have been comfortable with all sizes of dogs, cats, and critters in between. I am comfortable administering medicine if needed and have had experience doing so with my own fur babies as well as the ones I have cared for. I also have experience and am comfortable with caring for animals with anxiety. I know that it can be challenging finding the right person to fit the needs/wants that your companion requires and I strive to provide the dedication, patience, and love your friend deserves. My hours are flexible and I am able to make my own schedule for work, therefore I am able to accommodate the needs of your pets care at your convenience and am a very dependable pet care taker. I have always had so much love for animals since I was a little girl and that love has only grown more as I’ve matured. I know how weary it can be trusting a new person with something so precious to you and I want to be someone who can put your mind at ease knowing that your fur baby is in great hands! I am a very responsible, reliable, and loving individual who really enjoys caring for and being around animals. Your companion will get all the love and attention they deserve while in my care!
“We were away for six days and felt so comfortable leaving our Siamese cat, Gus, with Michelle. Gus has a lot of personality and usually doesn't like many people, but Michelle truly had the magic touch! He was completely at ease and so cuddly with her. She was great at communicating and we loved getting all the photo updates. We will definitely book her again!”

“Elizabeth was amazing to work with. Incredibly professional, friendly and responsive. I felt so safe leaving her with my cat Shredder, especially given her background in pet care and veterinary medicine. Thank you so much for your grace and understanding during the past 2 weeks, it truly meant a lot to me. 100% would recommend to anyone in the area seeking pet care.”

“Nathaly is caring and dependable. My pets look forward to their time with her playing and being snuggled. I have an elderly dog who requires medication and a special diet and Nathaly carries her down the steps and makes sure her needs are met. She is a loving person and flexible with my crazy schedule and long shifts. 💕”

About: Leaving your dog with someone else can feel like a BIG deal. You want to know they're safe, loved, and with someone who can handle them in all aspects. That's exactly what l'm here for. I have been taking care of family and friends pets for 7+ years now. I have moved onto rover to build a business around giving more dogs the attention and care they deserve while their people are away. I especially love working with active, playful, and high energy dogs who need more than just a quick walk around the block. I'm comfortable handling big personalities, lots of energy, and dogs who need plenty of mental and physical stimulation. Whether your pup wants a long walk, a game of fetch, some playtime, or simply a lot of love and attention, I'll meet them where they are. • 30 Minute Dog Walks include a fun stroll around your neighborhood or a nearby trail to give your pup the exercise fresh air, and mental stimulation they need during the day. • 30 Minute Drop Ins include potty breaks, feeding, playtime and of course plenty of snuggles to keep your pet happy and comfortable while you're away. • My Basic House Sitting service includes staying overnight with your pup so they have comfort and company in their own home. Feeding when instructed, cuddles, playtime and plenty of attention! Depending on your needs, I can be there to walk or simply just spend time with your dogs up to 3 times a day or even if you’re looking for an overnight request, whichever is needed for your situation! Your pet’s safety, comfort, and happiness are my top priorities! I’ll care for your pets in the comfort of their own home, where they can stick to their normal routine and surroundings. I’m respectful of your home and will make sure it stays clean, secure, and cared for while you’re away. I’ll closely follow your instructions, keep a watchful eye on your pets, and provide plenty of attention, patience, and care. I’m also happy to send regular updates and photos so you can have peace of mind while you’re away!
About: A friendly, responsible couple who treats every pet like family. We have 6 years of experience with puppies and small dogs. Our family has three dogs and two cats, and we took care of all of them since they were born. We make sure our furry friends have all the care and affection they need. My husband and I have flexible jobs. We can accommodate our time with yours with no issues. We just need a few days in advance for the bookings. We take care of them, and we protect them as if they were our pets. We have a lot of patience and affection for those furry family members of yours.

About: I have experience taking care of a border collie, Australian Shepard, and a German Shepard. I enjoy walking around the city and always open to a companion or two joining me. I am able to host dogs at my place, with my German Shepard. I have a fully fenced in yard that all dogs can play in, and I can walk them around my neighborhood. I am also able to do drop in visits for dogs or cats and stop by to walk any dogs. I normally travel for work 3 days a week. When not traveling I am either working from home or have local visits. I plan out my visits so that any pets staying with me will not go longer than 4 hours alone. I will allow all dogs to roam freely while I’m at home and take a break to play with them, and my dog, for about 10 minutes every hour. It gets boring sitting in front of a computer. For any walks or drop ins the time is spent making sure they get plenty of stimulation. Whether it’s walking a new route or playing in the yard I have a fenced in back yard. No other dogs or animals get in the yard, except a squirrel or two. When walking in my neighborhood there is minimal traffic since it has no way for cars to go through it( a lot of dead end streets). I’m close to 695 so if an emergency happens I can get to many vets in the area fast.

This is the second time that Kelly has taken care of my cats. She is very professional, kind, and compassionate with my little trouble makers! The cats remembered her from the first visit and they enjoyed her company. While I think Kelly is great, what really matters is what our furry four legged kids think.

Laura is our go-to cat sitter whenever we travel, and we trust her completely. During our longest trip yet, she saved the day when the upstairs AC broke by quickly moving his food, water, and litter to a cooler floor. She showered our cat with love and attention, and we couldn't recommend her more!

Stacey took great care of our cats and I will definitely use her again the the future. She even reached out to ask about where the broom is kept when the litter mess outside of the box got out of hand, which shows how thorough she is that she goes above and beyond.

Jen was an amazing cat sitter for my two cats Patty and Norman! She watched them for over a week and gave me many updates, went over and above with communication, care, and even cleaning! I would recommend Jen to anybody looking for a reliable cat sitter and will definitely be booking with her again.

Michelle was absolutely amazing for my cat while we were out of town on vacation! She is attentive, kind, and clearly cares a lot about animals. The peace of mind I get just from knowing my boy was well taken care of while I can’t be with him is priceless to me. 10/10 would recommend!

Stephanie should be a professional pet photographer. The pics she sent us were great! Our older guy also needs meds now and she did great making sure he took them since he sometimes resists. She was very sweet to our cats and took great care of them. Will be working with Stephanie again in the future!
Second time my wife and I have used Jennifer to sit our cats while out-of-town. It was only a couple days, but a hospital stay went longer than planned so we had to add on another night and morning; she handled the booking for us and came back over to feed them and do the litter - her help make a stressful trip a bit easier. Pretty sure we'll be using her a third time down the road whenever ...
Erica took great care of both of my boys over the holidays!! She was attentive and went above and beyond to make sure they were well cared for and felt loved!! My boys are already waiting for our next vacation so they can play with her again!! We will definitely be rebooking!!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
