“This was my first time using Danielle, I was truly impressed, from the first picture she sent me I could see that my fur baby was in love from the way he was looking at her with his paw on her arm, that put my mind at ease. Danielle was a ten out of ten and I will definitely be using her again. ❤️”

About: While new to pet sitting, I am not new to loving and caring for friends and family dogs. I’ve been a volunteer at local animal shelters in the past and have experience with a variety of dogs - young and old, different breeds, behaviors, etc. I’ve grown up with dogs my whole life, and when I adopted my boxer/beagle mix, Sasha, from the shelter at two years old, she became our greatest teacher, showing us how to love deeply, be patient, and make the tough calls that come with being a devoted pet parent. We’re experienced caring for dogs at every life stage, from bouncy puppies to sweet seniors. Special food requirements? Daily meds? We’ve got it covered. We pay close attention to each dog’s unique personality ... some thrive on extra snuggles, others prefer long walks, backyard playtime, or peaceful naps in the sun on the deck. I think it’s important to set up a meet-and-greet with new clients. It’s the best way for us to see if we’re a good match and to go over your pet-care needs in person. It’s also a great opportunity to get all those questions answered, and chatting face-to-face just makes things smoother. And honestly, meeting a new pup is the best part! At the end of the day, we know who’s really in charge: the dogs. Our job is to make sure they’re happy, healthy, and surrounded by love. I work from home and have the flexibility to play in the backyard, take walks, and provide personalized care as needed. In the last year I became especially skilled at taking care of our senior dog so am ready to provide any specialty care if needed. We have a fenced yard and quiet neighborhood with walkable sidewalks and lots of opportunities for sniffing out the perfect spots. No other pets or children in our home.
“Emily was amazing! We did a meet and greet a few days before hand and then on the actual day, my dog remembered her and was so excited to be back. I was worried because he’s a bit of a Velcro dog but Emily said he slept behind her while she worked and spent some time outside with her dog as well playing. 10/10, I will book Emily and Patrick next time I need a sitter.”

“Denise was awesome! Super flexible and easy to coordinate with! She was great with my 3 month old lab puppy and sent me tons of pictures! My pup had lots of playtime and slept for 3 hours during our car ride to vacation after I picked her up! I recommend Denise for anyone looking for a dog sitter in the area.”

“Theresa was amazing with Nikki, our fourteen month old, shy, but sweet small little dog. After each visit with Theresa, Nikki seemed content and happy, she took Nikki on a walk in the park, Nikki absolutely loved it! We know that she had received excellent care, and had a lot of fun! We are so happy that we found someone who is so gifted with animals to watch Nikki when we can't take her with us.”

“Karen was able to take care of Sadie with short notice & also provided me plenty of updates. Sadie had an upset stomach & Karen was great at updating me on how she was doing & taking care of her”

About: Hi there, fellow pet parents! I’m Jess, a remote worker and lifelong animal lover with extensive hands-on experience in dog walking, pet sitting, and doggy day care. I’ve cared for pets of all sizes, breeds, ages, and personalities, and I truly enjoy getting to know what makes each animal unique. Because I work from home, I’m able to provide consistent attention, companionship, and a calm, loving environment throughout the day. I’m very active and love spending time outdoors, whether that’s long walks, relaxed neighborhood strolls, or higher-energy outings, always tailored to your pet’s needs. You’ll also receive regular photo and video updates, so you can have peace of mind while you’re away. My mission is to provide the perfect balance of exercise, mental stimulation, affection, and structure, helping your pet feel happy, comfortable, and safe. For social pups, I also have friendly dogs who enjoy making new friends in a supervised and positive setting. In addition to dogs, I have experience caring for cats, hamsters, guinea pigs, bunnies, rats, fish, parakeets, cockatiels, and reptiles such as lizards. I also have experience with select exotic pets, where care is permitted and appropriate, and I’m always happy to discuss specific needs in advance. Above all, your pet’s safety, comfort, and well-being are my top priorities. I carefully follow all instructions and treat every animal as if they were my own. I would love to meet you and your furry (or feathered!) family members. Let’s schedule a meet-and-greet, I look forward to providing loving, reliable, and attentive care. My number one priority is the safety of the animals in my care. I would love to meet you and your furry friend(s). Let's arrange a meet-and-greet! I work remotely with a flexible schedule, which allows me to dedicate plenty of time and attention to pet care throughout the day. I’m available for walks, drop-ins, daycare, and boarding, and I structure my routine around each pet’s needs to ensure consistency, exercise, and companionship. Your pet’s safety and comfort are always my top priorities. I provide a calm, clean, and pet-friendly environment and carefully follow all care instructions. I closely supervise interactions, maintain secure spaces, respect each pet’s routine, and communicate clearly with pet parents to ensure trust and peace of mind. I also have a secure, gated backyard for safe outdoor play.
About: It is part of my worldview that animals are treated with respect and care. These creatures are intelligent, emotional beings, and I take that seriously. I’m a stay-at-home mom who’s looking to for a few hours of work each week to fill in the financial gap. Rather than sit at a desk job, I’d rather being doing something I enjoy, taking care of animals, than something that feels like an obligation. Each family and their animals have their own different needs and requests. I’ll reliably follow those needs, instructions, schedules, and care. No two pets are the same, and it’s important to me to honor how each family works with their pets.
About: I’ve taken care of my neighbor’s dog since I was 17. Family members and friends always relied on me to walk and take care of their doggies. I am available Monday-Sunday of the week, 8 AM-11 PM. I usually take my dog and the dog I sit on walks. I can be around your fur baby throughout the day, whether it’s boarding or dog daycare. I am available! I live in a pleasant and friendly area. My home is a warm and peaceful atmosphere. My friendly fur baby would keep your doggie company.
“Reynaldo watched our puppy Sadie for a night and did amazing with her. Sadie is very timid around strangers and has separation anxiety and he was able to make her comfortable which is no easy task!! He is extremely patient with both the pup and us which put all of us at ease. I will be recommending him to all of my friends who have dogs and will definitely be using him again!”

“Makhayla really saved the day for me and my pup- last minute, she agreed to watch my dog on a Saturday, and later that day when my friend had a crisis and needed my support overnight, Makhayla came to my rescue and agreed to watch Molly overnight, even though that hadn't been our original plan. She was communicative, adaptable, kind, and great with Molly dog. Sent me lots of pictures too. Highly recommend- you can depend on Makhayla!”

About: I have been a dog lover my entire life, but after getting my first dog at 18 I decided to become a professional dog lover. I have worked at boarding kennels, vet clinics and shelters and for the last 8 years have owned and operated a training company where we have offered in home care for a variety of pets. I love working with dogs of all shapes and sizes, and I love even more getting to make them a part of my extended family. Pet care is our routine around here! Aside from running our human kiddo to school, my entire days revolve around the needs of the dogs in our home. We set aside time for playtime in the yard, cuddles on the couch, and training time for pups booked through my training company. I have a fully fenced yard with a secondary fenced space for smaller dogs. We have 3 resident dogs who are all friendly and playful, and grumpy old man cat who mostly avoids the dogs. Guest pups are crated when we are away from home and overnight, with a camera on them to make sure everyone is safe and happy.
Overlea dog parents share their Rover experiences
I can’t say enough good things about Robert. I reached out to him on a Wednesday morning to see if he might be available the next day to watch my dog, Charlie. His response was prompt, and he was incredibly accommodating. Not only was he able to watch Charlie, he also made himself available for a meet and greet that very evening. Charlie can sometimes take a while to warm up to men, I was pleasantly surprised when he instantly became comfortable with Robert. Which speaks volumes for me as his owner knowing Charlie felt comfortable immediately is priceless. Robert kept me updated with photo and check-in. I am immensely grateful to Robert and his wife for their kindness, and assistance with a request from message, meet and greet to drop off in <24 hours. They helped ensure I didn’t have to worry about Charlie during a stressful day caring for an ill parent out of state. I highly recommend and am very thankful 🙏

Jennifer was fantastic with our 2 dogs (ages 1 and 2) during their full day of daycare. She was so welcoming, and her puppy was friendly and excited to play with our pups. I could tell the dogs were comfortable in Jennifer’s yard and home right away, and she seemed really flexible with hours we needed and special instructions for their care. She also sent me photos and updates throughout the day. I will definitely use Jennifer again for daycare and boarding!
