Pet care experience

Your baby will always be loved 🥰

I’m a full-time special educator and part-time foster dog mom. Having grown up with dogs, I have never seen my life without one! Being a dog foster, I have experience caring for puppies all the way to seniors! During our time together, I can work on basic training with your pup or maintain anything you have already started! Your pup will always be well loved and cared for. I’ll even let your fur-baby send Mom and Dad messages and selfies! My fur-baby is very well socialized and does well adapting to other dogs temperaments so they feel comfortable. If just for walks, in home care, or boarding (when available), you can trust your pup will be in good hands. 🥰

Laura did an excellent job at navigating my senior dog's stubborn personality. Grateful that she had patience to figure out how to get him to cooperate.

Laura is great with dogs! She’s kind, attentive, and treats every pup like her own. I’ve seen her care for an elderly golden retriever—making sure he had his meds, slow walks, and special meals—and also keep a very energetic pup entertained and matched their energy level. She’s responsible and sends great updates. Highly recommend!

Laura, for as long as I have known her as always been a kind, caring, and thoughtful person. When it comes to caring for either people or animals she is always putting their needs before hers. She has fostered multiple dogs in the past and spoils a dog and cat of her own. She truly enjoys taking care of animals and I would highly recommend Laura to take care of my pet.

Safety, trust & environment

I live in a smaller town home with a small fenced in yard. When caring for a pet in my home, I always speak with you first to find out what you are or are not comfortable with. Pending your approval, house broken pups will have free roam of the home at all times. Cat experienced pups will have access to the basement, where non experienced pups won’t. I always do a cat test to test your pups reactivity. Non-house trained pups will either be crated if we are not home, or gated off in the kitchen. Both options I would discuss with you and see what you are most comfortable with. While in the backyard, I start your dog off on a leash or long lead (depending their energy) to keep them safe. I want to make sure they won’t try to jump the fence or run. If I ever am unsure this will be the routine during the duration of their stay. In addition to the backyard, your pup would receive daily walks around the community. I’ve taken dogs on car rides, to the park, or with me on day trips. None of these things I will do if you are not comfortable with it. While in your home, I will always follow your rules, routines, and feeding schedule. I have done anything from multiple daily visits, to sleepovers, to brining my own dog with me to play! With both cases I will always respect your wishes and be honest and transparent of my availability and if something may interfere with your routine.

I’m a fast learner! I have experience giving dogs oral medicine, but not injections. That does not mean I don’t want to learn! If your dog has any special needs that require additional attention, please let me know and I will be honest with you about my experience and comfort level. There hasn't been something I’ve said no to yet!
