What your four-legged family member can expect when they stay with me: 1) Frequent potty breaks and long walks in Patterson park 2) Constant companionship since I work from home most days 3) Tons of reassurance in the form of pets, comforting words and treats (if permitted) 4) Regular feedback and communication with you throughout their stay I have over 10 years of experience working with dogs, both temperamental and easy as well as puppy aged to the elderly. I’ve worked with shelter dogs at Greys Ferry PAWS and Morris Animal Refuge, taking them on walks, throwing ball with them and giving loads of pets and have also fostered a senior cat! I'm great at gauging a dog's comfort level and respecting their boundaries. I used to have a Pom who was light of my life, needed constant attention and had a lot of health issues. I also raised a Cavalier from 11 weeks of age to one year of age, providing socializing, training and lots of affection. So I'm experienced at gauging a dog's needs and providing individualized care. At present I have no pets in the house.

Schedule
I'm active and would love to help your pooch fulfill their indoor and outdoor adventures. I'm currently a Post-doctoral researcher at Johns Hopkins with a hybrid work schedule so I am flexible with walks and can provide daytime companionship to your pup when they stay with me.

Safety, trust & environment
I firmly adhere to your dog's training and will ensure everyone's safety by avoiding interactions with passing dogs and people. I keep a watchful eye on the ground to avoid glass and trash and will provide positive reinforcement verbally or with treats. I maintain a clean home, with all small objects and food kept out of reach of wandering mouths.
A typical day
I always ensure my dogs are stimulated daily with mental and physical exercises, like playing ball, training with commands and search games. I take them on regular walks through my neighborhood to let them explore the world through their nose.
